Quality Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos

Con's (The 1st Room) * The hallway smelled like a cross between a moldy shower, something that died and has been sitting for months in the hot sun, cigarette smoke, weed, and a wet dog. I don't even know if cleaning the carpet would help. * The bathroom had a hairball the size of a golf ball underneath the door. Paint was peeling, outlets that only half worked and the ones that did work, you had to be an Olympic gymnast to get to or borrow someone's toddler since they would be small enough to maneuver through the maze to get to the plug. * The TV jack was pulled out from the wall. (And somehow no one noticed) * The AC did not work Pro's * Mike at the front desk took pity and moved my husband and I to another room that was much better even though it was still on the same stinky floor, but at least in this room everything worked and was not gross. Would I stay here again? Probably not. We travel several times a year and we really don't require much, however if the place overall looks, feels, and smells dirty I won't be back.

Property a bit cluttered on the outside. A homeless man, who appeared incapacitated or not oriented was at back entrance at night, started talking to me. I lied and told him I worked for the US government, and he then went away. Hallways smell like cigaret smoke. Rooms old, but clean. Bed great. Quiet at night. very basic amenities. Breakfast very basic, bread, a toaster, waffle maker, some cereal and fruit and watered-down juice. I was just there to sleep, so it was ok. Quiet at night though, for that I might consider staying again.
