Whether you are just passing through the Wild, Wonderful State of West Virginia or on a destination quest I recommend this property. It’s large (the north tower is where the outdoor pool, lobby and restaurant are located) with an indoor pool (located in the south tower) and outdoor pool. They serve a hot, country style buffet breakfast as well (that means biscuits and gravy are available to me). Great for kids and adults!

It's a perfect place if you're in a pinch. Not really anything negative about it but it's not amazing either. 1 common microwave on the floor (kinda of odd). Wasn't perfectly cleaned but nothing gross. Dated decor (but who cares when you're there to sleep) It has a pool, decent gym, fire pit out side, lovely view. Breakfast was hot and the staff were very friendly. Lots of amenities within 5 minutes, gas stations Walmart, fast food restaurants and sit in.

The outside pool was as small as a hot tub. So many people you couldn't get in. The inside pool was run down and dirty and no towels. Rooms were out dated. I checked on my registration on line that I would pay an extra 20 to be able to check in early at 1. When I got to the hotel the clerk said there is no such thing, we don't do that. You will wait till 3. She said you just got ripped off.

Staff was great (as usual), property and rooms clean (as usual). Only complaint is about the restaurant this time, menu was limited to bar food due to no cook (that I understand), however you should be told this before you order your drinks or something. Other than that really annoying me, everything was good.

The view from the property was beautiful. I even saw deer. I like the layout. I was in the South building and it was an easy walk to the other side. I love the two swimming pools and the fitness center is very nice.

The rooms are dated, but expected that. There is a hotel restaurant, but they do not deliver to the room, very inconvenient for an individual with disabilities. Also, everything was over cooked. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold foods. The room was a double queen with a balcony. Furniture was dated, some with minor damage, and some that had water damage around the bottom. The sliding door was ok on the inside the outside was barely attached. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room, but microwave is in a common area. The bathroom mirror had some drawing on it, I assume in soap, and toothpaste splatter above the sink. As I reached in the shower to lay my soap down I noticed very curly dark hair in that exact spot and some on the floor outside the tub. The area is very limited in restaurants, stores, delivery options, and no nightlife.

We have stayed here a few tomes. It's convienient off the major highway with places to eat, shop and relax. My issues were with the room cleaning. My wife actually had cracker crumbs in her bed. We did not eat in the room. The bathroom bathtub fixture were cruddy. I took pictures of them and the crumbs my wife took out of her bed and showed the girl at the desk. They use to have a big variety for the free breakfast and now it was reduced to one counter and the eggs were cold. I use to rave about this Days Inn, but we won't be staying there again. I gave it and average rating because of the shape of the property and view. Our stay is not what it had been in the past.

My second time staying here. Great location, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Room and bathroom super clean, staff incredible friendly. Had some quiet time outside after complimentary breakfast. Walmart and places to eat right across the highway. Kreb Up Frag Out.

I stayed here for several reasons, but one was the hot breakfast. The sign in their lobby says they serve breakfast in the restaurant until 11am, but when I went down at 10am the doors were locked. They said it ended at 9:30, the women at the desk didn’t even offer to grab me or my 6yo a granola bar for their mistake. And to top it off the fire alarm was going off for 30 mins at 1am the night before, which woke us up and kept us, and is the main reason we woke-up later than we typically do. The rooms could have been cleaner (hair in the tub from previous guest). There were some staff who were really nice and they had a nice pool.

This was the second time staying at this hotel and they really need to soundproof the rooms better. We got woken up at 630am by the adjoining rooms TV and loud talking. other than that the stay was fine, we only booked for one night anyways.

Checking in and out was very quick & easy. Kept clean and tidy. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the dining area has a nice view of the other side of the valley and the interstate. Room was comfortable, internet access strong, and very quiet with comfortable beds. There is thematic decor -- for example, you can pose with the posed bears decorating the lobby. Easy access to & from the interstate and plenty of places to eat, shop, and fill up the tank before you conduct your business, enjoy your trip to the area, or get back on the road.

The room had a strong chemical smell and made me sick. The AC was in the corner and didn’t cool the room. There was not a microwave in the room, it was with the ice machine-NOT.

The staff was great. Water pressure and hot water was well above what you normally get in a hotel. The only thing that was not up to par was the WiFi. It was so slow I had to use my phone hotspot to connect my laptop.

Amazing place but you refuse to provide a receipt for the bill and the 3rd party company doesn't either so I am still just as angry as I was that morning we checked out. Every other hotel chain I use the same third party booking site for was able to provide me an invoice to turn into my company. I was simply brushed off by your staff over this incident it's the only stain on your beautiful hotel. Your refusal to help me when I know you could we'll probably make me not stay there again

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a large group that was checking into our wing. They moved us to the other side of the hotel without asking. They were courteous friendly, and offered us information on dining and local options. Would stay here again!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The location was good with plenty choices for food and shopping. Where the hotel is situated you can sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were to hard for me. The bathroom could use some updates, not enough counter space to put makeup and other grooming needs. I did the sink being separated from the actual bath area.

This hotel is situated atop a steep hill, despite the signage - it's a bit confusing navigating the entry point from the I79, but that's not a fault of the hotel, that's just the way the entire town was built. Use Google Terrain layer to eyeball it. In it's heyday, it must have been magnificent. It has four adjoined buildings with four large entrances. The parking lot is huuuge, and I'm not exaggerating. The property is well kept, it's room amenities are adequate and clean. The beds are firm, it's like a 1970's theme but in no way I mean disrespect, it's actually a great thing IMHO. The only thing is the wifi, it was very weak but I was roaming so I had no problems using my own data, however YMMV. There was free breakfast, and my highlight was the biscuits, I have never tasted anything so delicious anywhere. I wish I could have taken a few with me, but I didn't want to appear greedy. I would highly recommend this hotel as it's right off the I79 and within 7.5 hours of Niagara Falls Canada, as this was my final destination. There is also a small plaza with other eateries close by, and a Super Walmart containing anything you might need.

An aging hotel, needs renovation including the pool that had some metal exposed at the bottom. Breakfast was included but not appetizing. I would upgrade the stay to a better hotel.
