Great stay. My new go to hotel when visiting NYC. Proximity to Ferry was fantastic. The free daily breakfast was awesome. Room was large and clean. Staff extremely helpful.

Great hotel, except that there is fault publicity. There is no view of the city or garden at all but just the view of a building and the parking is $30, which the hotel is not associated with. It was super cleaned and the staff was amazing. Free breakfast was a plus. There was a smell when you come in the room but after getting use it too, the smell was gone.

We were extremely disappointed to discover upon checking into our hotel room that it “did not” have the advertised view for which we paid a significant premium through Hotels.com. What we received was not the room experience that was represented at the time of booking, and we feel misled as consumers. Immediately after noticing the issue, I went to the front desk to inquire about the discrepancy. I was informed by hotel staff that Hotels.com needs to update its website because there is now a structure directly outside the window, obstructing the view that is still being advertised and sold as a premium room category. To verify the issue, I reviewed multiple future booking dates on Hotels.com and found that rooms advertised as having a view continue to carry substantially higher rates than standard one-bedroom suites. For example, for one Thursday-through-Tuesday stay, the "view" room was listed at approximately $2,960 compared to $1,766 for a standard one-bedroom suite. On another set of dates, the "view" room was priced at approximately $3,065 versus $1,872 for the standard suite. These examples demonstrate that guests are still being charged a considerable premium for a feature that no longer exists. Whether this situation stems from outdated information, a lack of communication between the hotel and Hotels.com, or another issue entirely, the result is the same: guests are paying significantly more for an amenity that is not being provided. This is unacceptable. Whats next?
