Room was clean. Parking was directly in front of the door and convenient. It’s a busy area, but this is a traditional motel, so rooms may be in different buildings. It was quiet in the third building.

The staff were all amazing, helpful, and friendly. The pool was a great! The shower pressure and bed (too firm for me) could have been better. Wish there was laundry on site but it’s conveniently located just over at the gas station. Overall I would stay again! I didn’t experience any of the negative things talked about in other review.

Clean room; comfortable beds. Pool was nice. Asked for a room that was further away from traffic. Got a room with lots of traffic noise. Also garbage truck noise at 6 am. Very few places to plug in devices. No coffee maker in room. No hair dryer in room. Soap dispenser either empty or not working. Grounds could be cleaned up a bit.

Non smoke room smelled like old cigarets. Ash under the bed, cigarete burn on a blanket, pillow with blood stain and overall room full of dust and allergins. If you are looking for a clean room this is not the hotel to stay at. More like a border line motel that is strugling to stay afloat.

Not pleasant. Room had mouse droppungs on the bed after we returned from a graduation. The replaced room was much better, smelled better, looked better, and was cleaner. IMO, diacounted rooms are worse and are on the backside of the hotel. I would never, ever stay here, penny pinching or not.

Front desk staff were not very friendly but the real issue was the hotel room. The door lock was broken, the smoke detector was missing, the room was dirty-there was feces or blood on tbe shower curtain, a ball of hair stuck to the bathroom door, and a wad of gum on the floor beside the bed. One of the beds was also broken down. The staff could not understand anything i said. I speak english but i do have an accent. Hotels.com helped me get a refund for the night i didnt stay, we left early obviously. But Red roof inn refused to refund the night we stayed despite me showing them pictures of all the issues. I would not recommend this chain to anyone and i would not have stayed the night if i hadnt driven 11 hours that day and had already prepaid for the room.

The Internet password worked for one night then didn’t work for the rest of the stay .I believe Tuesday morning Simone knocked on our door at 2am..I went to the curtain to see who it was and I saw a young lady who looked strung out on drugs.In the same morning someone knocked at 4 am but I didn’t get up to see who it was and then they left .The shower curtain rod was pulled out the wall which i reported it to the front desk.The rod been pulled out since we stepped foot in the hotel room,it was holding on by the two screws on to the side wall.Which with kids in the room ,could fall at any moment .One of the lights on the wall by the front door doesn’t work .mildew on top of the ceiling in the shower .Which I think you guys need to put exhaust fans in the bathroom to pull out the steam the shower creates .im a licensed contractor in nyc btw .With the steam building up like that it increases the mildew growing .The pool was fun ,but to have an handicap chair on the side of the pool with the circuit board hanging out doesn’t look safe .And what happened to changing the towels and sheets daily ? You guys don’t do that ?

The place was super dirty,and smelly,also the mattress was terrible we left one day before we was supposed wr couldn't do it anymore. The price is okay if people don't care about tjose things. It was my first time with this hotel.Not a good experience not next time.I hope they do better.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I found worms (4 to be precise) in my hotel room, which was both shocking and unacceptable for any level of accommodation. This completely ruined my experience and made me question the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures this doesn’t happen to any other guest. Definitely would not recommend unless cleanliness improves significantly.

When we go into a room at a hotel we always check for bed bugs. One of the beds had at least 30 spots of bed bug blood on the mattress cover. I have never seen anything like this before. Hotel staff refused to give money back because we booked through Travelocity.

I chose this place based on my experience with the company in PA. I used to say for work because I lived 10miles away & each one was always. Clean and staff was pleasant. Unfortunately this one reeked of cigarette, the room was just in my opinion nasty. I wanted to cheer my husband up, so we took a mini vacation.in all honesty I weigh I would’ve spent more and went somewhere else but we arrived so late.

Your basic cheap hotel. The light fixture hadn’t been dusted in over a year and the shower needed scrubbed. The sheets were rough. The toilet ran all night and there was no shower pressure.

This was a decent stay for what I needed. The location was perfect for staying close to the university and having a room on the first floor made it easy to get in an out of the room. It was pretty noisy though with people walking in front of the room and traffic on the main road. The room seemed pretty clean, but there were strange stains on the comforter and the sheets were a little small and didn't stay on well. However, I would definitely stay again for the price and the location.

Hot water was not available. After 5 minutes of running full hot setting in shower, took the fastest, cool shower. The heater in the room was extremely noisy and did just enough to keep it better than sleeping in my car.

Room was clean. Cleaning staff was helpful and worked hard. We left behind a sentimental item on 7/5 and my daughter realized that afternoon. We began calling that afternoon/evening with no answer. We called back 7/6 from 8 am 4 pm until we stopped our trip and drove back to the facility to hear them say they didn't have it. So they threw our property away without holding it for at least 24 hours. We called at least 30 times.

My stay was good until it was time to leave . The people are so rude when it’s time to check out . That was my last stay ever . Shout out to the beautiful lady that works at night and the other nice guy but the actual owners are rude as hell .

If I could give zero stars I would!!! First these people do not even know that the companies they book through deal with afterpay-etc. These not so good employees took two days of pay from my account after I had paid for stays through hotels.com with after pay! And my bank has had to get involved cause they act stupid! HOTEL IS AWFUL ' ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE! WE TRAVEL A LOT THIS HOTEL IS THE GROSSIEST AN TO THE FRONT DESK White guy an supervisor -Learn your business and stop stealing from people!DO SOME UPKEEP TO YOUR HOTEL

Stay was ok. Room was ok. Weird people moving around outside at night. And actually witnessed someone’s child try and open our car door from our room window.. luckily the doors to the vehicle were locked.

The place needs some work done. What I liked about staying here is it’s near the Norfolk Premium Outlet. Also closed to the Naval station.
