I stayed here for a business trip. The room was reasonably priced and very comfortable. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Plenty of charging ports for phones and tablets, lots of channels on the TV. Pool and work out rooms and a decent breakfast was provided.

Over all very good. Friendly check in. Pool and whirlpool actually was open and worked. 1st floor hallway smelled of marijuana luckily I was in the second floor, room is clean ( slightly worn but ok ) plenty of hot water

Needs updated, musty smell, i was able to clear up the smell by opening the window with the fan on. Picture has mold inside it maybe this is why i was waking up with my head clogged and sinuses bothering me. Walls stained, shower curtain rod was damaged, the curtain would drop to the lowest point of the rod because the rod was almost pulled out of the walls at both ends. Turning on the sink faucet was almost nearly impossible. Tv could be of a better picture quality, low high definition ut not todays standards. Lamp was tapped together, carpet stained. Wood furniture was pealing in various places. Hot tub was not operational. Widow was badly hazed out and not able to clearly see out.

They do not serve any hot breakfast. They have a waffle maker, the coffee is terrible and you have boiled eggs. There was candy and peanuts on the floor and no coffee maker in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a wood floor with flat pillows. Even when the pillows were folded they didnt support you. The staff was MIA. The elevator broke and we were on the 3rd floor with 3 children under 5. The house keeping staff was walking around without shoes. The store rooms were so full and junky. They brought us a crib and it was stained with idk what.

We enjoyed our week long stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful! They have a continental breakfast,indoor pool and hot tub! Air conditioner wasn’t great but that wasn’t a huge issue! Hotel is in a convenient area with several restaurants/ coffee places near & many are within walking distance! Rooms could use some updating, but honestly it didn’t bother us. Hotel was quiet so we were able to get a good nights rest. It’s about 15 min from St Joseph,MI! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Not bad for the price.

The pool and hot tub have been closed for 9 months, and they have no idea when they will be usable again. Of course there was nothing about this on Expedia. Lobby restroom was very gross with toilet paper all over the floor and urine and hair on the toilet seat. Not a very good first impression. However, the room was very clean, no odor. Desk attendant was nice to let me borrow their fan for the evening. Outdoor lights need repaired. I give the place a B- overall.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a bed with beach sand on it. We pulled the sheet back and there was blood on the fitted sheet. The management on duty brought fresh linens, but I have never experienced anything like this from a supposedly higher end establishment

The shower was full of black dirt on the sills. It was just running off the walls in the bathroom. Fire alarm was hanging by a wire out of the wall. There was tissue stuffed in the peephole in the door and not removed before our check-in. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain.

There were used condoms in the night stand drawer that they refused to clean after asking multiple times to clean. Checking out, told manager again that it was still there and the head of the cleaning department stated that it was cleaned so had to take them both bake to the room to show them that it was still there. Staff is not properly trained, lots of OSHA violations, and the building is very run down and dirty. Also, was given blood stained sheets.

The facility itself is very outdated. The room was so disgusting. The bathroom had no been cleaned. There was still hair in the shower. The carpet was dusty, gross, and had visible debris on it from previous customers. The walls were covered in dirt and grime. There was no line on the phone to call the front desk. I could NOT believe we paid $160/night for this room!

The gentleman that checked us in was amazing with customer service. That's the only positive I have for this hotel. The stopping that kept going into well past 4 am kept my kids and I awake. I went to the desk around 3 AM rang the bell and no one came to assist. When I addressed the issue and the response from the lady at the front desk was "We had three complaints about that, sorry" and checked me out without any sort of actually addressing the issue. Family vacation was cut short with tired kids and exhaustion.

Constant pounding in room above us making it impossible to sleep . Called front desk 3 times and finally after midnight was offered a different room. Which would have took me until morning to get done. Found out it was one of employees autistic son that lives there. Then offed $30 for my convenience of not being able to sleep. 4 times staying here will not happen again based on this response

Though the hotel seems older and a little dated, it was clean. The beds are a bit hard for my liking and not comfortable. The pillows are very flat. The tv service has many channels but often froze and the channel wouldnt change.

The property is in a convenient location to the hwy (although there is major road construction currently going on) and to gas. Also there are some dining options which are walkable. The staff at check in was pleasant, the bed was comfortable however the signal for both the tv and the wifi were weak and had some issues. The property itself is in need of either a refresh or an update. The breakfast options were minimal. Overall alright but not someplace I would stay again.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were the flattest I’ve ever seen. Our door knob lock also stopped working so we propped the ironing board against the door. Everything else was fine but the beds would make me not come again.

It's a good place to book for a quick stay. I called on a package that arrived a day after I left; the guy who took my call was rude. I asked about the status of my package and he had no clue. I had filled out a form to have it re-shipped. Communication needs to be better among staff to ensure a good follow-up experience.

When I walked in to check in I waited until the person came out. He then walked to the window and said nothing. I have to say my last name. He proceded to do my paperwork without speaking then gave me a paper and said "fill out the car information". I gave that to my husband to fill out and in the meantine no voice from him. I had out my drivers ilcense and credit card and he did not ask for it, He gave me my paper copy and key and said nothing. I asked if manager on duty and he said no. I said I guess I will have to find my room on my own. I could see it was right on the right wall but he did not say nothing. Gave me a bad taste. Did not want breakfast and left early next day. Last visit to here.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Christina was absolutely amazing. She was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Christina always had a smile on her face, greeted us, and thanked us for our stay. Great experience overall! Huge thank you to Christina for making the stay so pleasant!

We just needed a place for a fast overnight stay to attend a family function. Staff was very friendly check in and checkout was very efficient. As expected there was some traffic noise as the hotel is right off a main highway, but the room was clean and comfortable. The serve yourself breakfast was perfect for a quick bite to eat to get back on the road quickly. Appreciated coffee and tea being available all day.

Room clean. Friendly staff. Quiet area other than highway noise which didn't affect me. Free breakfast was appreciated with good coffee. No problems at all . Very close to the lake and St. Joseph Silver Beach which was what I was looking for. Did not use the pool or Hot tub but will book again in the future. Right next door to Cracker Barrel which was a plus as well as other food options. Dove Bath Products provided was nice. Great value for what I needed.

We always stay here on annual Michigan getaway the hotel interior is dated but clean staff is amazing pet friendly great location can Walk to restaurants 15 minutes from downtown St Joseph beach great rates on rooms highly recommend Tossi Italian restaurant 5 minutes from motel

Upon entering the hotel, we were met with an unusual smell of old musty carpet. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful & friendly. The room was semi clean. The sheets were stained and looked worn in color. The toilet struggled to flush. The soap in the shower was completely empty. However, the front desk clerk replaced the bottle. There were several ceiling tiles in the hallways that were falling/caving in. There were also multiple places of mold on the ceilings. The chair in room #209 was extremely stained and sticky/oily like it had never been cleaned. On the upside, a few of the amenities like the pool and continental breakfast were appreciated. The pool area was clean and had fresh towels. The breakfast was well stocked and when an item was low it was replaced quickly. Overall, an okay stay but the hotel could really use an update, fresh paint, and a deep clean.

Their breakfast was not good no matter what time we went to eat. They would have one of each item or none at all. We stay here a lot and this is the first time it was disappointing.
