The modern look of the hotel is nice, I like how its decorated. Our room had some areas that were stained, like the shade roller on the window and the fabric headboard. The pool is absolutely ice cold freezing so the kids were really bummed it was so uncomfortable to swim.

Never stayed at a Tru. We liked it! Stayed because of the high ratings. Used the pool and the workout facilities, which we usually don’t do. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet.

We never stayed at a Tru hotel. We were pleasantly surprised! Loved the shower and the soap and shampoo dispensers! The only thing I did not like was the pool area was not clean to my standards. There was hair built up and that just grosses me out. Really we were there for Silver Beach just thought we would try the pool out! Also the pool water was cold!

We were very disappointed on the indoor pool temp. It was freezing. I booked the stay so I could bring my granddaughter and play in the pool. It was so cold that after 10 min her lips and cheeks were blue. I asked for it to be turned up and was told it was 80 degrees. There was no way it was 80, I have a pool and know what 80 feels like. For this reason we were disappointed!

The room was modern and very clean. Loved the wood tile floors throughout the room. No worrying about whats in the carpet or last time it was cleaned! The bed was comfortable and I was impressed with the lights that you could control on an app. Would highly recommended staying here and the price was actually less than most area hotels. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Everything appears clean because the place is relatively new. Price was competitive for the area and season. However, the first night the floor felt gritty as I took off my shoes to go to bed. I ran a damp washcloth over the area and it came up black. I ended up washing the entire floor at midnight and it was gross—-clearly has not seen a damp mop in months. Towels are thin and sheets are threadbare, not crisp, and do not cover the king bed adequately.. Room is quite cramped (bruised shins from inching between the bed and the desk) and there are only hooks for clothes—no closets or drawers. Personally don’t care for the overall decor with bright colors and silly signs like something out of a McDonald’s play area, but I could get past that were it not for the other issues.

We stayed 4 nights and were expecting a typical hotel room (average size, etc). These rooms are small, have no chair in the corner, no closet, and no built in desk (just a flimsy little fold up one) like every other hotel I’ve stayed in my life. We were not expecting the lack of space. It was clean, and would be fine for a 1 night stay. I do not recommend for a family of more than 2, and not for more than one night.

The front desk was polite and friendly. The breakfast was good. The only complaint was the bed. The mattress was rock hard. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. Other than the bed, it was a nice hotel to stay in.

Pretty good one night stay. Newer hotel. Rooms were on the smaller side but clean. Pool table was a nice touch. Only downside was being so close to the interstate. Walls were thin and it was super loud. You may be okay if you get a room on the backside of the hotel.

Nice, clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Coffee in lobby was not very fresh or hot after breakfast time. A microwave in our room would have made our stay more relaxing. Going down the hall to heat up coffee or food isn’t the greatest for the price we paid.

Property was clean and functional. Price is similar to nicer rooms. Room is smaller( maybe 2 ft narrower I estimate) without microwave and ironing board is exposed. Most folks don't want to walk around room and see an ironing board! Laundry is not relaxing. Bathroom is fine. Desk is the size of large tv tray - smallest in domestic chain hotels I have been in. Colorful and well light - reminds me more of international room or microtel hotel from years ago. Good for beach visit- would avoid for business. Not sure the hotel will wear well. Hilton normally has nice fixtures but this feels a bit cheaper. A bit of an IKEA dorm room feel so this may be likeable to some.

Our front desk clerk Jon was amazing, helpful, kind and interacted well with my family! He made sure we were taken care of and knew exactly who we were every time we walked through the door! He alone made our stay enjoyable and worry free and would recommend to anyone to stay there!

Jazzy and Jon at the front desk were absolutely Awesome!! So helpful and personable :) We were even toting along a new born and a few other small children and what a relief their hospitality was to us Breakfast was super yummy and stocked up so well, even with a robotics competition contenders filling up :) Great teamwork and care given! Thank you guys!

Property is fine, updated and modern. Just a couple of things that stood out: 1. There is no chair (other than desk chair) to sit in to watch TV, or simply relax in. 2. Room items very limited, no paper, pens or dirty/wet laundry bag. 3. Staff were very non engaging. Of the 5 encounters that I had, I was the one to initiate the greeting or conversation. 4. Bed had no top sheet or blanket, just a comforter. It wasn’t a bad stay, just very forgettable. I won’t book again.

New(er) property. Everything was in great condition. Room was sparkling clean. Had nice amenities in the lobby/space to hang out if you're traveling with a group. John checked us in when we arrived in the evening and he was great- had a very friendly personality, knowledgeable about the area. No complaints. Would stay again for convenience of location and condition of the property.

Impressive boutique-y hotel with some cool, trendy touches. But be aware that the rooms on the front of the property experience constant road noise from Interstate 94, which is surprisingly close by. Otherwise, no complaints.

The property was very clean and looked great from the outside. The inside was clean, staff was professional and courteous. The breakfast was pretty good and very convenient. They could definitely use a coffee overall. Would be nice to have a coffee machine and a few sample servicings in the room. The coffee offered in the cafeteria was not very good. Overall, a great experience and glad we stayed there.

The breakfast was very nice for a small hotel. Our only issue was the room temperature. It was set at 90 degrees when we arrived. We tried to get the cool air to run and while it would run, the unit would click on and off nearly 20 times before it finally shut off. Because we were only staying one night we didn't submit a complaint.
