This is a standard Super 8 hotel. Looked forward to a relaxing soak in the hot tub, unfortunately the hot tub is not hot, just luke warm pool water. “Hot Breakfast” very limited offerings.

Great place! A quick stay on our family road trip - we got in late and the staff was very friendly. Place was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, pool and hot tub were great. As we left the staff said “have a great day, God Bless”! Highly recommend!

There is no fitness center as it said online. Also needed a room to sleep 6 which is what it said when booked, but got a room with 2 beds-sleeps 4. Staff unfriendly and rude! Parking lot was covered in ice and very slippery. Staff did not care!

Very beat up and dated hotel. Rooms clean though.. I want a partial refund on this stay! Free breakfast was mostly non existent. Juice machine broken down. No pastries, no other food items except yogurt and cereal. We couldn’t use the hot tub or pool as every time we went, it was overflowing with parties of people. Desk attendant never at the front desk. Items in our room not working, microwave and many outlets . We couldn’t hear up our meals . Also we had to move lamps and my hairdryer etc around the room to find an outlet that did work . Extremely loud at night and in the mornings! Thin walls and folks who weren’t aware of volume control. We would’ve left and found a different hotel but didn’t have the time as we were in St James for my Fathers Funeral … Was a miserable experience!!! Will never stay there again.

This is a nice property in a small, isolated area in SW Minnesota. It was so much better than I would have imagined. The staff was very kind and helpful. It was very snowy, and the walking areas were clear and good to navigate. The pool was not available, so that is my reason for not giving a higher rating. I will stay there again.

Great motel for the price. Front desk service was polite and efficient. Room was immpeccably clean and had nice amenities for the price range. Breakfast area was big and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was an aged Super8. Rooms smelled musty, but rest of rhe room was nice. Bed was comfortable, linens ok, clean. Breakfast was lacking and just out of some of their items.

The room appeared to be clean but smelled terrible and the carpet was sticky in places. Put shoes on to walk around in the room. Breakfast was good with a average selection of food. Arrived very late so slept in the room and tolerated the smell. Expressed concern to front desk when checking out. No response.

My grand daughter said this was five star! So five star it is. I thought the rooms were spacious and clean and the young desk clerk opened the pool for the kids for twenty minute even though he’d already closed it!

I had requested a handicap accessible room. The photo showed a walk in shower. Instead there was a tub with grab bars but the tub was difficult to get in and out of. The room was very small with no comfortable chairs. Also, in order to use the microwave you had to flip on a light switch on the other side of the room.

Everything was good during our stay with the exception of our bathroom fan. It was very loud and unfortunately there was no way to have the light on in the bathroom without the fan. We informed the person at the front desk about the maintenance need, so hopefully it'll be fixed before the next guests.

My only complaint is that they charged a $100 deposit on my credit card. They didn't say anything about charging a deposit when we checked in, just asked for the credit card for incidentals should they occur. I'm very familiar with that policy, but this is the first time I was actually charged a "deposit". I was told it would be credited back 2-3 business days after check out. We stayed at the Super 8 in Fairmont less than a month ago and did not have a deposit charged. They should definitely say something at check in about that deposit.

Manager acted like it was Expedia’s fault he couldn’t cancel my last day booking. (Finished job early) Called Expedia and had zero issues with the Expedia guy. Expedia guy called the hotel to cancel my rooms ( 6 of them ) and the manager was not willing to cancel my last night. Cost me an extra $500. Hotel lost out on thousands. Will never stay there again and we do a bunch of work up there often.

We were very happy with our stay. The front desked helped us with several questions. Very friendly each time. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Breakfast was good. This was surprising because we knew the night before roads were closed and hotel was full. Everything was still ready in a timely matter.

The hotel was basic. It was clean and well maintained. It is pet friendly and has a nice outdoor area for dogs. Pizza Hut is in the parking lot as well as a Casey’s store for convenience. We didn’t have the breakfast.
