Easy check-in, stains on sheets, dog hair on bed covers, sink stopper was non functional, so I just removed it during the stay, toilet had a weak flush, breakfast was included with a choice of apples, bananas, grits, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, gravy, biscuits, make your own waffles, walnuts, raisins, muffins, danishes, pb and jelly, toast, juices, teas and coffees- well-lit parking, next door to Holiday Inn Express, no privacy tag for door, tiny single serve shampoo and conditioner for 1person, only.

I booked this hotel because it said there was a hot tub on site. I drove a little further than I wanted and paid a little more than I wanted just for this amenity, so I was very disappointed to find out there was not one at all. Please change your advertisement on hotel.com

Hotel itself was nice: nice rooms and good service. Hotel listing states there is a hot rub so we stopped by the walmart to get swimsuits. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told there was no hot tub. We should have got shampoo at the walmart though, their complimentary shampoo was very harsh and there was no conditioner.

I have a handicapped husband and a handicapped parking permit. They would not allow me to park my truck in the handicapped parking area or any other regular parking area. I had to park it in an area not near our room. I personally think this illegal, but they were nice about it. My truck is big but there was areas to parking near our room. They have DO NOT DO SIGNS ALL OVER THE SITE. Not very inviting. Would not stay there again. Driveway going into site full of deep potholes.

If we could give more than 5 stars this place deserves it. Staff was friendly at check in. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool area was clean and safe. Parking lot was easy to navigate and clean. If we're ever in that area again....its a no brainer to stay here.

We stayed here 2 years ago and it was great. This time we had an extremely dirty yellow comforter and the bed felt the equivalent of sleeping on the ground. Also couldn’t take a shower because they have the faucet made where it won’t get very hot. Staff was nice and check in was easy. Everything else was clean. Unfortunately we will probably not stay again.

The hotel was dirty had flies in it. The carpet was dirty, and the chairs were dirty. There were people outside at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with lounge chairs, getting drunk we left and they would not give us our money back. I called the home office and have not heard back yet. I need a refund. We couldn’t even stay there.

This location exceeded my expectations. I had stayed at another chain in Clanton in the past but this time I booked a room at the Best Western because the rates were better. I was not disappointed. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have every stayed at. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was more than I expected with a lot of choices. Great experience.

Unfortunately, my experience at this Best Western was far from pleasant. The carpet in the room was old and badly in need of replacement—it contributed to an overall musty, unpleasant odor that made the space feel unclean. Additionally, the in-room phone didn’t work at all, which was both inconvenient and concerning from a safety standpoint. I expected better maintenance and comfort from a hotel of this brand. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

I reserved a one night stay, but ended up staying for less than an hour. I needed to work and immediately tried to connect to their internet. When connected I saw the message that the internet was unsecured and that anyone could see what I do. I asked the front desk if they had any other option of secured internet and they said no. I told them that I was unable to stay because I couldn't risk my work and asked for a refund. They told me to wait until the manager came, several days after. I spoke with the manager and she first said that the internet was secured. When I confronted her with what I saw, she told me that because I reserved through a third party, she couldn't give me a refund and to contact the third party. I did that and the third party (Orbitz) called the manager which refused to give a refund. Orbitz told me that the hotel was the only one that can give me a refund. So, all lies and very little empathy with a possible client. Never going back to this hotel chain, but especially to Clanton, Alabama Best Western hotel.

I would have been pleased, except the WiFi was absolutely miserable - extremely slow and lots of dropouts, so to do any work I had to leave the motel and find good WiFi in town. Extremely inconvenient.

Very dated property. Torn chair in room. Looks like a motel from 1970. Very very noisy!!! The only good thing I can say is it was clean. Will not stay here again. Also price for this property was outrageous. Don’t go by pictures of lobby. That’s only place that’s renovated.

Nice hotel. Only complaint is that there were very noisy kids running around and slamming doors u til 1 am. Ac was so noisy and clunky we had to turn it off. Room was fine and clean. Breakfast was pretty good

The room was just ok. The staff working at the front did not know how to do much of anything. We asked about a military discount, and he said yes, you probably can get one, but I don't know how to do it. I could not get my television to work. I called down to the front desk, and he asked me to look behind the TV and see if it was plugged up right. Seriously sir! I eventually figured it out on my own. The show was horrible. The handle came off.

I booked the reservation and paid for a month in advance because I knew it would be a busy weekend. We got to the hotel around 10:45 PM only to be told that she gave up our reservation because other people are looking for rooms. So my family didn’t have anywhere to stay for the evening at a decent price as to why I made the reservation here a month in advance. She gave our reservation away at 6 PM. I was told even though we had already paid and booked in advance. We are highly disappointed in the service we received and we stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn because they had no rooms available when we arrived. So, even though we made a reservation a month in advance, and had already paid for it, we still had to pay $120 more to stay across the street. Highly disappointed in the way this was handled. A phone call would have been nice to know especially with having a 3 year old and a newborn with no place to sleep at that time of night

when we arrived we were told they cancelled our reservations even though I had paid through Expedia. She said their policy stated they have to have a credit card on file in order to keep the reservation. She told me she could give me rooms for the night but that they would not be the same as the Expedia rate and that I would have to pay her for them.

A very comfortable, clean hotel. The buffet breakfast had everything you could want, hit and cons items all nicely presented. I particularly loved that our room was service everyday if our stay.

Did not realize this was a motel setup with outside access to rooms. The biggest problem was the chair for the desk was toddler size. The front desk person was nice and swapped it out from another room but it was still unusable and I needed to work. The remote to the tv didn’t work. Breakfast was ordinary. Local food options were extremely limited. Overall I would not go there again.
