Could see it had bern recently renovated. Staff were extremely helpful snd friendly. No easy walk to dining. Gym equipment was limited. . Better quality toilet paper would be appreciated. Common areas seemed quite cool.

Under construction. But it didn’t bother me. Food for breakfast was good especially I didn’t have to cook it. lol does anyone use WiFi anymore? Lady at the front desk was a great lady!

Very friendly staff. My room was gross. The other room booked was acceptable but nothing outstanding. Property was under renovations but even areas that were not were pretty well warn. My unit had stains everywhere, cracks in the shower surround, paint chips everywhere, a portable AC unit since the AC in the unit didn't work.

The experience was good. The only bummer was the elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs going to 3rd floor. Breakfast was good too cant complain. The room was comfortable and clean

Multiple stays - staff is very friendly from Front Desk to the gardener shovelling the snow on his day off. Clean, neat modern spacious rooms. Good Breakfast with considerable variety. 24/7 coffee and tea available. Lots of spacious Parking.

The other reviews aren't wrong about the strong smell of cigarette smoking in this building. In the hallways you could never tell. But as soon as you open up your door, you can smell it. It permeates from the vents. You can tell that there have been some parties that caused some damage in the past. This hotel needs to invest in good air cleaning and vent refreshers to fix it. The windows open but they are small so i was able to air out my room as much as possible. I had to switch rooms as my toilet wasn't flushing fully and the cigarette smell was as if someone just had a cigarette in the room. I was on the ground floor. I got moved to the second floor and the smell was better but not gone. I hung a dress for a party overnight and it smelled when I wore it to the party. I would not go back there unless I was convinced that the smell was taken care of.

The room was dirty the sheets were not clean they do not clean after someone stays. There was hair on my bed and sperm on pillow they did not refund my money after they said they would and they no longer reply after I asked the communication with the property owner is horrible and they are filled with lies stay here at your own risk never know who slept in those unwashed seats before you!!!

The room was dirty. Found food from previous renters on the floor and sticky substances on the couch and walls. There was peoples food garbage left in the hallway for far too long. The breakfast wasn’t covered and people were sick. What I do like was the sink option in the room for kitchen microwave and fridge. Separate room area

The front desk staff was lovely but the room was sub-par-while spacious on close inspection not very clean and when I asked housekeeping to clean thoroughly, change sheets, new towels, etc none of those things were done, I couldn't leave quickly enough.

After our one night stay, my wife had bed bug bites on her body. Called to report it to the manager but there wasn’t a manager available. Left several messages. Totally disgusted with this lack of customer service and uncleanliness.

Floors aren’t cleaned or vacuumed, full of body hair dust and used paper toilet peaces in 2 rooms I checked, carpets are full of stains and smells humidity. One of the room has blood on the caroet and left uncleaned, so I asked to change room, but the floors were as dirty. Very surprised to see this based on the positive reviews. Even the night tables had full of oil/grease on them.

Cable or satellite signal is intermittent. I’ve tried various rooms and it’s the same. There’s a pause at times and no signal. Needs updating. Otherwise it’s very comfortable and quiet.

The place it’s self was nice, the room was spacious, our main inconvenience was the bed it sloped down in the middle more so on the left side of the bed making it uncomfortable and not a great sleep for the person who slept on the left side.

Stayed two days at this hotel. Overall it was okay. The room had an odd smell when we first went in, had to open the windows to air it out..which don’t open very much and we were on the ground floor. I booked a one bedroom suite upgraded efficiency?? Whatever that means. The bedroom was nice although there was no privacy when you close the door to the bedroom, they are glass French doors with no curtains or shades. The bed was rock hard and squeaky, no dim lights, all super bright. Bathroom was ok. Took a while to figure out how to turn the water on because it was stuck. The pull out sofa bed felt like sleeping on a fence. Was really bad. We asked for blankets and pillows when we first arrived at 4pm and by 9pm I had to go down and ask. I was only given two blankets. The kitchenette was fine. The room overall needs a bit of deep cleaning. There was splatters of something on doors,parts of walls and behind and beside the bed. I ended up cleaning myself a bit. It was quiet as we were at the back, but Saturday night it was noisy outside and in the hallways and you can hear a lot in the other rooms. I didn’t try the breakfast because it was always packed. Coffee in the lobby was good. There are homemade cookies when you arrive.

Staff always courteous and friendly. Very large rooms and while some of the hardware and furnishings are aging, everything is always in good shape and very clean. Such a surprise to have a separate bedroom and some of the sweets feature upgraded kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and hot plate. Very good accommodations

I was not initially given a key to the room as the staff said the machine wasn’t working. Then they announced (loudly for anyone to hear) what my room number was, what my name and email address was, and I discovered my personal information, address etc was displayed on a tablet where other patrons were standing and could view which is a huge red flag of safety protocol, especially for a female customer.

Staff was not great, they forgot I had called a week in advance requesting to pay for a late check out. I was told a note was made on my account. They had no idea when I checked in, was able to pay for it then. Then the day I was supposed to check out they called me at 11 am (paid for check out at 4pm) as I was getting ready for competing in a bodybuilding Show, telling me I had to check out. Thank goodness I kept the receipt for the late checkout I paid for and had to insist I paid for the 4pm check out. The check out was difficult, The staff took their sweet time and were not helpful. The sheets were dirty, and stains on the couch.

I went to the front desk at 11pm to have my key redone that wasn't working. The girl never asked for ID and had never seen me before. I felt a little uneasy that she would just give a key to my room to someone that easy.

We were welcomed and provided a great room. We appreciated our room placement given the construction taking place behind the hotel and how close it is to the highway. We found parking by a door closer to our room. Staff is very friendly. They do a comfort check before bed to make sure you have everything you need and i thought that was a nice personal touch. Well done.

From the moment I walked in I knew it would be a far greater experience than the other hotel on the strip (mentioning no names). Cleanliness, property upkeep, initial welcome... all 5 outta 5 stars. But the on-duty manager Carlyn is a gem! I've worked in the customer service, hospitality and travel industries and Carlyn checks all the boxes. Her outstanding friendliness is matched only by her informative & thorough check-in. She gives the guest a aense of value and makes the blah town of Whitby a place you want to visit (as does Jason at the bar in Milestones, but I digress). Excellent stay!

Hotel doesn’t take debit/visa for security deposit (I booked with it). “We only take credit card” she said. “Cool I have that on my phone!”. “Have to have actual card” she said. “Why?”. “Policy” she said. I don’t have the actual card, that’s why I gave it in my phone. Their reply “sorry but we only take credit card. We will reimburse you without a penalty “. So I have to go home and cancel my plans? Nothing said this while booking! The fact that they wouldn’t offer to help find a solution, it was easier to send me home! BS

we arrived at 4pm they had only 1 (one) person on desk to check us and others in at check-in time they should have more than on person at the front desk- she indicated that our room was at the back and that we should drive around to the back of the building where our room was. we parked at the back went up 6 steps with luggage to get into the building we then had to go downstairs the get to the first floor where our room was located at the front of the building- we had to walk to the front - on the way we had to ask laundry staff where our room was located - weird set up. breakfast was okay not the healthiest selection available - coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bread for toast, dry cereal, oatmeal in packages, yogurt, apples and bananas I was only able to eat the eggs and yogurt - the yogurt was full of sugar on the second day we went to get breakfast the eggs were gone and did not get refilled before breakfast was over and we had to leave to get to our meeting very disappointing - no options for special diets

The check in process was smooth and the young lady at the front desk was very personable. Room was quite nice, and generally quiet although the room faced the highway so there's noise from traffic all night long. They were painting one of the stairwells close to the room so there was a little bit of odor in the hallway but nothing major. Minor cosmetic items in the bathroom (peeling ceiling) and the shower spout was quite loose. It's probably going to come off soon. Bed was hard but comfortable. The TV remote for the bedroom didn't work but the living room remote worked on both TV's. Overall, great place to stay for an overnight.

I liked the layout of the suite — king size bed in bedroom and double bed in living room with French doors between them. The property is close to the highway, but sheltered by lots of trees. Nice landscaping with outdoor party area at side of property. Good breakfast with moist scrambled eggs and bacon, and many more choices. Very nice staff both at the restaurant and at the front desk. I’ll return to this property.
