Door to the hallway had damage from being pried open. Pool and hot tub had no water. Room was dirty bottom of tub was black from frime build-up there were pubic hairs in tub and on toilet. Totally gross do not recommend

The room was as clean as it could be for the how outdated it is. My biggest complaint is that anyone could have just walked in the building because the main door latch is broken off and does not secure. Part of feeling safe in a hotel is having doors that secure properly. The room is very "late 70s or early 80s" (and not in a good way) The bathroom was the best part and it is obvious that the tub/shower has been updated. The room is a bit musty and the a/c is not very efficient. The beds were comfortable and the price is lower than most hotels, but if I'm going to stay in a 1980 room, then I should pay 1980's prices.

The price is great! However, they are minimizing their expenses. Building doors are broken. Our room was cleaned two days out of a seven night stay - althrough they did gave me clean towels each time I brought the dirty ones to the counter. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work and the sink faucet handle was very loose. Bringing these last two issues to their attention each day for three days resulted in unfulfilled promises the issues would be addressed and a claim that we had the Do Not Disturb sign out when they came by. We did not use the Do Not Disturb signe during our stay. What was once a great complimentary breakfast is now minimal. The swimming pool was half empty, but we would not have used it anyway, so no complaint about that. Again, the price is good. But with the condition of the property is poor, so staying there is no longer a great value.

No one was in the office at 10pm. Took over 40 minutes to finally talk to a person. The pool is still empty after over a year of maintenance. Apparently they are still waiting on a pump. I won’t ever even try to book here again.

The room was dirty, there was no refrigerator or coffee maker. The tub was downright nasty. I would share the pictures of the room if it was possible in the review. I find it terrible that they charged this much for a very subpar room.

The room smells horrible. I gagged when we walked in. It smells musty & like water that’s been sitting. The bathroom smelled even worse, like pee, and like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was poop or dirt along the bathroom door & wall. I really didn’t want to but I needed a shower. The shower looked like there was a pee stain on it. I wore my shoes in the shower and to make matters worse it didn’t drain correctly so I was standing in water as I was showering. Choose somewhere else!! It’s not worth the money.

The room was dirty everywhere. There were used soap bars on the top of the shower. The linens felt damp and it smelled like mildew really bad. The sheets on one of the beds was dirty. Our dead bolt didn’t lock. I was very disappointed in the room and the condition of it. Will not be staying here again.

The first thing we noticed was how dirty everything was. The bedding had huge stains and burn holes everywhere. The only remote for the tv didn't control anything but the channel and the tv never really turned off, it just stayed on a black screen all night. The pool was disgusting. There is only 2-3 feet of water and its brown. The door to the pool room is unlocked all the time so anyone can get in. Then there was bedbugs in our room. When we let the manager know, Vin was very rude. My son and mother-in-law had bites everywhere. My mother-in-law had to go to the ER because of the bites she received. Management knows about the bugs and does nothing. I will never take my family to a Wyndham or Super8 again. This location should be shut down.

The staff was fine, cordial, but lazy. Room was not clean. The bed spread was not clean. The stopper for the facet could not be pulled bc the mirror was just above it. The shower was great. Put some charcoal in the smoking rooms and wash the walls please and fix the ac unit. Either too cold or too hot. Towels had a hair in them even after “clean”.

We checked in around 1 am. The front desk attendant was friendly and efficient and the entire facility seemed clean and well maintained. The room was upstairs in the back building. It's at a truck stop, but the building in the back was super quiet - we couldn't hear the trucks at all. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was a bit "springy" for my taste, but that's a personal preference issue and it was not "uncomfortable." Would definitely stay here again.

Bare bones, no frills. You get a bed, a chair, and a bathroom. It was about as clean as could be expected for a property that obviously gets a lot of use, and it appears hasn't been updated in a long while. It is right next to a really big truck stop, and pretty close to the expressway. The constant drone of the trucks and traffic kept the heavy sleeper (my wife) up all night. It put the very light sleeper (me) to sleep. The rooms are insulated enough to keep it quiet enough. The advertised free breakfast in the morning was nothing to speak about . . . literally, there was hardly anything to eat. The only protein was yogurt cups, everything else was various levels of carbs and starches. Little muffins, toast, and make your own waffle. One very positive was the check-in process. The staff member was very friendly, sounded like she was expecting me, and we had a nice short chat about our travels. As I said, bare bone, no frills, got what we paid for.

I checked in 5/26 at 10:30pm. The lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all. She never smiled or responded when I spoke to her, she only said name on the reservation and asked for my ID. She wasn't very welcoming, friendly, or nice. Bad front desk choice.

This was a work trip. That would be the only reason I stay with this motel. I had to make a request for towels each day. I understand the room does not get clean everyday, but replenishing the towels each day would be great. I have to say the worst of thing about this trip was, I was charged twice for the stay. I booked this stay about two weeks before the trip, through Hotels.com. I paid for the booking at the time I made the reservation. When I checked in, I was charged again for the stay. I called Hotels.com; they informed me that the Super 8 Vanita has to reimburse me the cost because they charge me again. I waited until Monday to call the motel, several days after the check out date to make sure that it may have been a false charge. As of today, I am still waiting for a call back from the manager.

traveling for work, arrived early for check in and the front desk lady stated she didn’t have any rooms clean and ready to go at the time, as housekeeping was waiting on linens to get dry. So went back out to my car. About 20 min later I went in to use the lobby restroom and the front desk clerk was folding sheets out of a large rolling basket that appeared to of just came out of dryer, told me she will have a room for me in 15 minutes. She went above and beyond to accommodate me! I was taken back… good customer service, wait no, even mediocre customer service is a rarity these days and to be treated with the best customer service was nice. Also the room was clean and the stay was peaceful and felt safe. Highly recommend! A

This hotel is a good value for the price. I like that it is an old school motel style building because you can just park right in front of your room door and not have to walk a long distance. The front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel is also in a very convenient location right off the turnpike and there is a Loves travel stop across the street that’s open 24 hours. You can walk to it and pick up food and essentials. My only issue is that I booked a non smoking room and it definitely smelled like cigarette smoke. There were also burn marks on the comforter and the carpet so it appears non smoking is not enforced all that well. But again for the price I paid it can’t be beat. Would stay here again.

The bed linens were stained and had a smell. The bath mat was also stained. The pool and spa were out of order. Breakfast was sufficient. Refrigerator in the room needed defrosting. Check in was fine.

It was a quiet place to stay. The free breakfast was disappointing. Waffle, toast, 2 cereal choices to eat. Could add a few options to that menu. Nice place for the mo ey though and the staff were very nice.
