What a suprise a random pick for a weekend stay, Absolutely brilliant. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with daily towel changes, good bar and terrific breakfast. Not rushed, very relaxed. Plenty of car parking. The pizza/Italian restraunt attached to it is also fantastic and not to be missed. Very populare and decently priced. All in all brilliant place.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. It's on a busy road but our room was quiet. It's also convenient for the M62 and Halifax. The cooked breakfast was nice and there is a lovely Italian restaurant next door. The bar area was pleasant place for drinks and a chat with friends.

Great that there is lots of easy access parking. The Italian restaurant serves great food and the hotel breakfast sets you up for the day. In room WiFi was very useful to stay in touch with family.

We stayed one night with our dog. I was a little doubtful on what the standard of room would be like due to us having a dog. The room was a good size, very clean and smelt pleasant. The grounds were also clean and plenty of small grassed areas for the dog to pop out. We stayed for breakfast which was hot snd tasty. All the staff where helpful and friendly.

Great welcome, friendly efficient. Unfortunately there were many hairs in the bath /shower/around the toilet and the bathroom floor was not clean and also had hairs . The bed was clean and comfortable.

The quality and spotless cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent; it looked new or recently refurbished. I never like wash basins with a centrally located mono-tap. Too many times have I cracked my forehead on these when shaving and brushing teeth. Even just hand washing has to be done while trying to avoid the tap getting on the way - but these do now seem to be universal in hotels. The restaurant prices are very high, for dinner. While breakfast is excellent value, when booked with the accommodation. Service standards were very high. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisy. The road on which it is located seems to be a popular race track for some drivers, late at night and early on the morning - even with my window fully closed. Ample car parking is available and there is a Co-op filling station directly opposite.

The bedroom area was beautiful and clean, with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was clean, expect an area of mould on the ceiling in the shower. I think this was due to the extraction fan not working. The staff were friendly and professional and very helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you

We had a lovely Executive Room at the front of the hotel, but because it was in a corridor next to a Fire Door, there was constant noise at night whenever anyone entered the corridor. The hotel is situated on a busy main road, so opening the window in warm weather let in a lot of traffic noise.

Hotel in a good location, room fairly modern in appearance but quite small (so nowhere to put luggage out of the way) and the shower took way too long to come up to temperature and then fluctuated between scalding hot and freezing cold. No aircon meant the room was way too hot and, as it was overlooking the car park, it was difficult to sleep due to noise.

Our experience was generally good beds comfortable clean etc but no air conditioning. It is expected to at least have air conditioning as a choice this day and age especially when budget hotels offer this as part of the price. The staff are 100% fabulous customer service exceptional.

Hotel was okay but the bed and pillows were not to my liking and the windows let in too much noise. I would advise asking for a room facing the rear. The restaurant next door, Da Sandro, was exceptional though.

Although I had booked a quiet room well in advance and had made my request clear in writing, I was given a room on the very busy and very noisy main road. The receptionist argued with me and claimed no request had been made. Then after I showed her the proof; she told me I should have booked a room at the back. Although as a non-resident I have no idea which rooms, or which side or which floor is described as "quiet". However, an absolute no go blaming the customer and not even being able to go out of their way to check if there is any way to offer a quiet room to the guest. Bad! I couldn't sleep all night and will not recommend or book this hotel again. I only got an apology after 10 minutes of very rude discussion. Pros: Very clean room, breakfast is good (coffee variations cost extra), friendly check-out staff and the highly recommended Italian restaurant that belongs to the hotel.

A good 3 star where the staff make all the difference - Ken you are a legend! A last minute booking for us due to a family emergency, we arrived late around 11.30pm and they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and be more friendly. Hotel has a nice reception area and lounge and good breakfast. Some minor maintenance bits but nothing that detracted from the above. Will stay again.

Stayed here as we went to a nearby wedding, called prior to booking to check if they offered early check in and they did. Once booked I emailed to confirm the early check in has been added to our stay and got a fast response! Really great service and fab location (especially the 24hr petrol station opposite as my partner had forgot his toothbrush!!!)

A modern hotel close to the M62 Briar Court excelled in many ways. A 20 minute drive and you can be in Bronte Country or in the opposite direction the Peak District. Excellent location for buisness and leisure.

It was nice little stay, we only stayed one night. Our room was a little smaller, and unfortunately looked out to the main road so it did get loud from traffic and cars in the middle of the night but it wasn't too bad. The staff are all really friendly and lovely. And location wise - it's 10 mins from a small town called Lindley so is nice when you want to go for a walk in the morning .

Good base for the night, we had a gig at The Piece Hall in Halifax, which was a direct 15 minute drive in a taxi costing £17 so that was reasonable. The room as comfortable and very clean.

During our recent stay at the hotel, I was initially hopeful for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The room itself was adequate but not particularly impressive. While it was clean, the furnishings were basic, and the amenities were minimal, which didn’t reflect the price I had paid. The breakfast was by far the most disappointing aspect of our stay. The selection was extremely limited, with only a few basic options that didn't seem freshly prepared. The eggs were rubbery, the toast stale, the bacon tough and hard and the coffee tasted weak. Everthing about the hotel was great. We only had a couple of small gripes. We found our bed a bit hard, though my brother in law in another room found theirs soft. So my wife didn't sleep well, I didn't think I was going to get much sleep either due to the matteress, but, I had a great sleep.We thought being on the front of the hotel was going to be noisy due to the traffic, but it was really quiet. The noisiest thing in the room was the soft close toilet seat. The selection of food for breakfast was great. I would stay here again.Thanks

The adjoining Italian restaurant was very nice, a little expensive but good was excellent. Breakfast was served, would prefer a cooked buffet but there was decent options of cereal and fresh fruits to choose from the continental foods.
