Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. It was an easy walk to & from the train station. At first, my husvand & I were afraid it wasn't for us because on our first day, we found it difficult to navigate the narrow hallways, mutiple fire doors & several sets of stairs with our suitcases in order to get to our room on the 2nd floor (equivalent to the 3rd fl. in the US). The elevator only goes to 1st floor. However, we did get the hang of it soon enough & found that the hotel made up for those issues in other ways. Big plus is that our room was very elegant with an old world feel, but still comfortable and had a modern bathroom. We slept very well all 3 nights that we stayed there as it was quiet in the room and the bed & beddings were very comfy. Next plus is that breakfast was included and that was very convenient gor us since we were able to have breakfast before our day tours. We had breakfast every day in the glass covered patio overlooking the beautiful garden. It was quite relaxing. We also received excellent service from the polite & friendly staff at reception, breakfast service, and from the cleaning staff. All these are reasons to make us want to stay at this hotel again when we return to the Cotswolds.

Good welcome nice friendly staff. Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Cosy log fire lounge. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Library with comfortable seating a bar with very good choices. Gardens were well kept and interesting. Most of all the staff all seemed to be very well trained and concerned that you had a good stay! Hope to come back.

My husband and I experienced a delightful three night stay at the Manor House in August. The staff were warm and welcoming and the property and gardens delightful. We were able to walk from the train station in Moreton on Marsh to the hotel in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was fabulous offering both continental and hot options and our dinner at the hotel was delicious. We appreciated the recommendation of Go Cotswolds for touring. The sounds of the birds in the garden and the nearby church bells made this feel like the perfect getaway! Try the Mulberry cocktail!

This was a wonderful hotel with beautiful gardens in the back. The restaurant includes a glass conservatory. Food was very good. Staff was always helpful and pleasant. Our room was lovely. Charming decor, plush towels, bathrobes and a very modern bathroom. Overall, it was perfect. Great location for staying in the Cotswolds as Moreton-in-Marsh has all forms of transportation connections.

Another lovely stay at the Manor House. Stayed in our favourite room number 14 but felt the bedroom was looking a little shabby (the four poster needs some attention). The TV in both the bedroom and bathroom didn’t work for a period of time during our stay (which coincided with us returning from a long walk and we just wanted to relax). The internet was very hot and miss too. We dined in the Brasserie and while staff were attentive at the start, by the time we got to desert the brasserie was busy and we were forgotten about (so we got up and left). Overall a good stay - lovely countryside on the doorstep

Beautifully decorated and updated rooms with lovely en suite bathrooms. Comfortable beds, plush towels. Easy to locate and to find parking. The staff, especially at reception, were welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again when in the Cotswolds.

Adorable hotel. Perfect garden area to sit and have a drink from the bar and enjoy the sunshine. The restaurant was nice but was overwhelmed with a big party on my birthday night so they forgot about me - ended up with a free glass of champagne as an apology. Clean & cute room, awesome bathroom with a beautiful bathtub. Comes with complimentary water which they replace for you each day which was so nice to come home to.

The car park is a bit of a trek from the hotel, not really suitable if you have mobility issues. The room was nice but the bathroom was a little tired. The towel rail was literally hanging off the wall, plus lots of mould behind the door probably due to the absence of an extractor fan. Breakfast was nice with attentive staff, despite being in the conservatory it was warm and inviting.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stayed here yesterday evening for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The bedroom was clean, well decorated and warm. Highlights were the friendly staff especially Christian who was behind the reception desk, the wonderful breakfast spread and homely open fire. Some pointers though, we were in room 40 and unfortunately were a tad upset about the amount of noise made by the pipes/plumbing when next door and upstairs used their bathroom facilities and with the thin walls came a good amount of noise too which did affect our sleep. Also the shower pressure was a 5/10. But overall a good 9/10 stay. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others! 👍

Stopped over for just a night and have to say that price we paid represented excellent value for money. The room was really comfy and in good condition, nice drinks and chocolate in room too. Our room(20) was very poor for what I paid. There was no mattress cover which is unacceptable. The water pressure was dreadful. It took 10 minutes to get enough water for a shallow bath and consequently making the shower unusable. For what it cost, I was terribly disappointed after having a lovely previous visit. The restaurant was very overpriced. However, the staff are wonderful.

Room 19 should not be a bed room as the restaurant extract and condensers are directly outside the window rattling away which makes it impossible to get any sleep. The window also leads onto flat roof with fire escape access, thus not safe to leave window open to air the room as anyone could just walk in. Not worth £10 a night, never mind the £165 I've been charged!

This is a beautiful Hotel in a beautiful place. The staff were all very friendly and helpful from check in to breakfast and check out. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. The only problem we had was the shower was hand held over the bath because of low sloping ceiling, obviously this couldn't be avoided because of the old building.

Staff were very helpful and professional. Often went out of their way to assist. Only issues were a front-facing room on High Street that was very noisy at night after I had requested a room that didn’t face the street, and the lack of a shower in the bathroom.

A beautiful, historic building. A cosy stay for an autumn break. It was what we were hoping for in a Cotswolds mini-break. Staff all very friendly. Food was not as great as expected but perfectly fine. The room was also very hot and opening the windows to cool the room down so we could sleep meant hearing the busy road outside. We could also hear the other guests talking late at night on the final night. We would come back!

We had breakfast every day in the glass covered patio overlooking the beautiful garden. It was quite relaxing. We also received excellent service from the polite & friendly staff at reception, breakfast service, and from the cleaning staff. All these are reasons to make us want to stay at this hotel again when we return to the Cotswolds.

Another lovely stay at the Manor House. Stayed in our favourite room number 14 but felt the bedroom was looking a little shabby (the four poster needs some attention). The TV in both the bedroom and bathroom didn’t work for a period of time during our stay (which coincided with us returning from a long walk and we just wanted to relax). The internet was very hot and miss too. We dined in the Brasserie and while staff were attentive at the start, by the time we got to desert the brasserie was busy and we were forgotten about (so we got up and left). Overall a good stay - lovely countryside on the doorstep

This is a fantastic property! We traveled in from London for one night to celebrate my husband’s birthday and can’t wait to return! The room was incredible with a huge comfortable king bed and a gorgeous bathroom. The breakfast and staff was superb!! Thank you!!

Hotel and gardens lovely. Room 15 doesn't have garden view as such mostly wall! Unfortunately staff shortages meant we couldn't eat in either restaurants on both the nights we stayed. Mary on reception very helpful and obliging. Would stay again in different room.

This was a wonderful hotel with beautiful gardens in the back. The restaurant includes a glass conservatory. Food was very good. Staff was always helpful and pleasant. Our room was lovely. Charming decor, plush towels, bathrobes and a very modern bathroom. Overall, it was perfect. Great location for staying in the Cotswolds as Moreton-in-Marsh has all forms of transportation connections.

The Breakfast and the dinner was delicious! Loved the honey cake . Bathroom was small but modern shower. Beautiful grounds lots of flowers and the green house restaurant. Mary and Kara at the reception desk were very friendly and welcoming.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. It was an easy walk to & from the train station. At first, my husvand & I were afraid it wasn't for us because on our first day, we found it difficult to navigate the narrow hallways, mutiple fire doors & several sets of stairs with our suitcases in order to get to our room on the 2nd floor (equivalent to the 3rd fl. in the US). The elevator only goes to 1st floor. However, we did get the hang of it soon enough & found that the hotel made up for those issues in other ways. Big plus is that our room was very elegant with an old world feel, but still comfortable and had a modern bathroom. We slept very well all 3 nights that we stayed there as it was quiet in the room and the bed & beddings were very comfy. Next plus is that breakfast was included and that was very convenient gor us since we were able to have breakfast before our day tours. Lovely old quintessential English building. Cozy (but not small) guest rooms. Easy 10 minute walk from train station and nice location in the center of town. Food is excellent, especially the rack of lamb. Eggs Benedict for breakfast! Very helpful staff.

Enjoyed a lovely weekend in Moreton in Marsh and surrounding areas. The log burning stove and comfy chairs in the hotel were perfect backdrop for good chats over drinks. The hotel is very beautifully furnished, well-heated bordering on slightly too warm, and in a brilliant location making the Cotswolds accessible even if travelling without a car. Breakfast was lovely.

We had a double room, which was nice and spacious with comfortable bed and facilities. Breakfast was included and very good. It's superbly located for town of Moreton in the Marsh, everything's a short walk, and an easy town to get to other parts of the cotswolds from.

Staff were very helpful and professional. Often went out of their way to assist. Only issues were a front-facing room on High Street that was very noisy at night after I had requested a room that didn’t face the street, and the lack of a shower in the bathroom.

Our room(20) was very poor for what I paid. There was no mattress cover which is unacceptable. The water pressure was dreadful. It took 10 minutes to get enough water for a shallow bath and consequently making the shower unusable. For what it cost, I was terribly disappointed after having a lovely previous visit. The restaurant was very overpriced. However, the staff are wonderful.

My husband and I experienced a delightful three night stay at the Manor House in August. The staff were warm and welcoming and the property and gardens delightful. We were able to walk from the train station in Moreton on Marsh to the hotel in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was fabulous offering both continental and hot options and our dinner at the hotel was delicious. We appreciated the recommendation of Go Cotswolds for touring. The sounds of the birds in the garden and the nearby church bells made this feel like the perfect getaway! Try the Mulberry cocktail!

A beautiful, historic building. A cosy stay for an autumn break. It was what we were hoping for in a Cotswolds mini-break. Staff all very friendly. Food was not as great as expected but perfectly fine. The room was also very hot and opening the windows to cool the room down so we could sleep meant hearing the busy road outside. We could also hear the other guests talking late at night on the final night. We would come back!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stayed here yesterday evening for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The bedroom was clean, well decorated and warm. Highlights were the friendly staff especially Christian who was behind the reception desk, the wonderful breakfast spread and homely open fire. Some pointers though, we were in room 40 and unfortunately were a tad upset about the amount of noise made by the pipes/plumbing when next door and upstairs used their bathroom facilities and with the thin walls came a good amount of noise too which did affect our sleep. Also the shower pressure was a 5/10. But overall a good 9/10 stay. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others! 👍

Allocated a lovely room on 1st floor and there's a lift which is a big help, there is a car park at the back of the hotel where you can walk through the gardens to the hotel itself, room spacious, clean and had everything we needed.the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast ..lovely...and all fresh ..
