This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff was amazing and greeted us each time we walked in the doors. While not necessary it did give us the opportunity to ask for extra towels etc without feeling like a burden. The hotel was very clean and the pool was fabulous! We will be back, nothing better if your visiting birch bay. BB hotels aren’t this nice.

Everything was great. Would definitely book again. Only thing was that WiFi wasn't good from the room. Only had signal on one half of the room, so connection kept cutting off, and on my phone it would switch and cut into my data package.

This might be more on Hotels.coms part. Booked this particular location specifically for the hot tub/pool. However upon checking in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub are closed indefinitely for remodel. Huge bummer for the trip. Otherwise the stay was nice enough.

Nice quit place to stay with family. Good pool area with hot tub, steam room, sauna and workout room. Beds are decent. Rooms were nice and clean. Our kiddo loved all the seating options and desks in the room and the fact we could see airplanes taking off from our room. Restaurant right down stairs if you don’t want to wonder out which has a good kids menu too. Would definitely recommend.

Love the family room- a separate area has twin trundles (2 beds) that are tucked away so if mom and dad want to stay up a bit later after the kids go to sleep we can! The pool and hottub were a big hit. The fitness room is actually a decent size with free weights, machine weights, treadmills, rower, and a Peloton bike. I wish every hotel fitness room was like this one. Didn't use them but they also have a sauna and steam room. Will stay here always when in Bellingham.

We checked in to our room to find dead bugs crushed on the walls and ceiling. The room smelled like mildew and had an ugly view of the roof. We called service and asked for a clean room. They accommodated our request and gave us a different room. Besides the room, the floors in front of the elevators and throughout the halls were dirty and stained. It was just dirty and lazy of the hotel to leave it like that. The elevators sounded like they were going to break at any moment and would violently shake when reaching the desired floor. The positives were that the restaurant was pretty good. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. The hotel always had parking, and was located in a convenient location close to Costco and Target. It was a decent price compared to others but very high for what we received. I would pay the extra and stay at a nicer hotel next time.

The good: the room was clean, comfortable, quiet. All the things I expect when staying in a hotel. The bad: it wasn’t really bad but the room could use more lighting. The carpet in the room and around the lobby seemed stained but that’s just what happens with carpet. The ugly: there was no ugly.

The bathroom was great and beds were comfortable. I liked that toiletries were in the shower. The noise from outside the room was insane. It sounded like everything in the hall and other people’s rooms was happening right in my room. We also had a guy doing a rock concert with his guitar at 9:45pm. I had to take care of it myself as when I called down to the receptionist the music never stopped for even a second. Magically when I went and took care of it myself it stopped. Who would have guessed? As my daughter will be in college there soon I will be looking for a place for many nights to come. This will not be the place I chose.

This property was a very nice place to stay. Clean and updated except for the TV. My husband is hearing impaired and has to use a TV streaming device to his surgical implants to hear the TV. The TVs at this facility did not have the correct hookup on the back. I asked at the front desk if they had a TV with that hookup, she tapped on the computer and said they did not. (How she figured this out on the computer I have no idea). We were able to purchase an different connector that didn't work as well, but it helped him hear the TV. The other complaint that I had was the lack of room sound proofing. We were by the elevator and the ice machine. I heard everyone walking by our room and above our room. This made sleeping difficult for me. I spoke with another person there who had the same complaint and said she didn't sleep from the noise as well. Other than these two issues, I recommend the hotel and would stay there again if they would update the TVs.

Nice, clean and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable. The elevator was pretty loud, so we just took the stairs (we were only on the second floor.) The ac in the room goes on and off about every 60 seconds, now sure why, that was a little annoying but it didn’t keep us awake. The buffet breakfast which is $15 per person, was no better than a free breakfast we’ve gotten at many hotels. I’d say if you’re going to charge $15 per person, there should be at least an omelette station or waffle station, something to make it worth. Hotel staff was very nice and pleasant, the bar staff wasn’t as inviting but overall it was a good overnight stay. We were comfortable and kids had fun in the pool!

this is a nice, well appointed hotel. i especially liked the shower and also the roominess of the king bed room i had. things needing work: 1. the internet ranges from very poor (3 mb download, .01 upload--basically unusable) to okayish (30 mb download, 7 mb upload--mainly when other people aren't likely to be online). this is my main issue--really needs an upgrade. 2. the temp control in the room seems kind of off--too cold. the ac turned on (or it felt like it) with the temp set to 76 degrees in the room and it was not that hot outside. service, staff, etc. were all very good. the airport area is nice and i did not notice plane noise.

The reason this property succeeds is employees like Finley. From the moment my family checked in, Finley took care of us. It was our sons first time staying by an airport and Finley was able to get us a close room to the airport. Everything was clean. The room was spotless, the automatic blinds were perfect and our son really enjoyed the suite room. I would recommend the suite with the separate room to any teaveling family. Our son really enjoyed the pool. We went down to dinner and let me tell you, the pretzel was homemade! And there was a ton of beer cheese, yes a ton. I was very impressed by the antipasto salad, it was HUGE and very flavorful. Our son enjoyed the pizza from the kids menu. Brittany (not how her name is spelled) was one of the best servers our family has had. She was a delight, and friendly. She deserves to be acknowledged for her hard work. Brittany (not how you spell her name) is one of the best waitresses my family has experienced. Go here for the service 10+

Very clean hotel, check in staff was welcoming and helpful. Our first room's A/C wasn't working and we're moved to another room. In the second room there's a metal panel connected with the A/C system, the noise from the panel was very loud and we had to turn off the A/C so we can sleep. Checked out the next morning; the staff member was quite rude with an attitude. Even another customer at the front desk agreed that she got an attitude!

Do not leave anything behind. We accidentally left our 2 coats in the closet, house keeping stole them. We called 4 hours after we left our stay. The room was cleaned and it was not occupied by anyone else. The house keeper kept our coats to themselves. It was our fault for leaving them there, but they to have thrives working for them so beware.

My only negative experience was in the on-site restaurant. During breakfast, the waiter assigned to my table focused on one table the entire duration of my breakfast (Talking about his hobby as a film maker). I got my own Coffee, got sugar from another table and when it was time for me to leave, i had to ask the hostess for my check. The food was okay.

We bought the breakfast. We arrived at buffet at 9:00 am still 1 hour of service offered. Eggs, were cold, hash brown potatoes were almost gone (also cold),bacon was cold, bread was just laying out on plates and was stale on one side. There were a couple of heated dishes with nothing in them. I asked for juice, and then coffee but only one drink was included in the price so I would have pay more. Please refund our money for the breakfast we bought. Also we noticed many tables had not be cleared. The sink in our bathroom was very slow and took a long to drain.

I found tgis hotel to be a really great place to stay and tge staff, especially in the restaurant/bat was exceptional. The food was truly well prepared and tasty, something that I feel is hard to find in hotel restaurants. I found the price for Saturday night to be a little high but I accepted it for the other high qualities and not having to move from another option.

Autumn was really helpful and great during check in and so did Meg during check out time. Buffet breakfast was great and tasty and the server was very attentive and friendly. The only thing that wasn’t great was the DirectTV, it kept cutting in and out. I had to unplug and plug the cable in more often than I wanted to get it reset. We’re planning on coming back for the New Year’s Eve :)

We left after the first night. They told me the room had a little bit of a chlorine smell but that was a complete lie. The room was so full of chlorine I felt woozy. My son passed out with in ten minutes of being in the room, the only shining stars were the young lady at the front desk was very sweet and kind. The male server at breakfast was gracious and attentive. I bought the insurance for early leave but for some reason didn’t get credit for the two nights we didn’t use. So that’s a pure let down as well. Wouldn’t use this sevice again

Stayed for an overnighter prior to catching an early morning flight. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and the room was very quiet even being close to the interstate and adjacent airport.. The food and service at the in-house restaurant were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider this hotel again should I have the need before flying out.
