This hotel definitely lives up to its 5-star rating. I don't even know where to begin! Firstly, the design of the hotel is amazing. My favorite parts were the massive hotel rooms (private balcony/jacuzzi), the lobby, and the roof top deck. The staff were very attentive. The best part -every hotel guest gets their own private butler. I stayed for a week, and I had a butler 24 hours a day. They were available via text. I felt so spoiled! I used my butlers to book a golf cart, grab things from the room that I forgot, and so on. My friend's butler went to grab cold medicine from a convenience store! I've never seen such great service. It was definitely the cherry on top. There are so many pools to choose from and again -drink service was amazing. No complaints. While this is mainly a "couples hotel", I went with friends and still had a great time. We made several friends on the hotel premises! It was conveniently located to all of the tourist destinations in Isla Mujeres. Lastly -I loved the private boat that takes you to and from the hotel to the dock area near the airport (when you begin your hotel stay and when you leave). The entire staff lines up and waves hello or goodbye to you at the end of your trip. It was really special. I will definitely be coming back!

This property is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking a quiet, relaxing getaway this is the place. The boat ride to the resort is the perfect beginning to your stay. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly and made you feel like you were the only guest. We will definitely be returning soon!

This property is beautiful and the staff and service are excellent- Shout out to Martin our butler! The signature rooms are perfect with a hot tub and incredible shower. Really no beach but the set up around the docks are beautiful. Food was excellent (with lots of choices for an all inclusive) and absolutely top shelf liquor. Incredible sunset views. only negative is spa is waaaay overpriced.

The property and location is beautiful with incredible views. Its reminds me of a cliffside boutique hotel in the Greek Islands to a certain extent. The staff and service were friendly, accommodating and helpful as most of the Secrets are, the Mexican people and their culture are just wonderful and prideful in there work. The property itself is small compared to its other Secret brand locations so the only negative for me was the number of food choices. Mercada and the Mediterrian restaurant the food was excellent, the Sake /teppan was good also but the Wildfire grill needed some work still. Spa was under a bit of construction still but the facilities were nice. If you staying for 3-5 nights I think its a great place. I think they may have been a little under staffed at the beach/pool area, but the weather was on and off also. The minor issues should not take away from the overall experience, the people there take care of everything for you, our transportation home changed because of the tropical storm they had to rearrange everything for us there was someone from their staff at every location helping the guests in the ports and transportation we didn't have to worry about anything. Service was spectacular and they will accommodate you if they can. Rent a golf cart for a day they take care of it right at the hotel and explore the Playa Norte and check out the different locations on the Island its small so you can tour the whole island in a day no problem.

There is no shuttle to the ferry which is actually a small catamaran. They cannot take Ruff water because we all got soaking wet and the taxi ride from the airport was $130. US we were told that the ferry was gonna leave at 12 noon and we waited an hour and 45 minutes for it to arrive to pick us up. Did not arrive at the hotels schedule docking place a hour later. had to go behind the island because of the rough seas, then take a taxi ride from there to the hotel. And come to find out our room is not ready so we had to wait another 2 1/2 hours. Our luggage was taken out of the taxis and put in an open area to where we felt like anybody could’ve walked off with it then the taxi drivers act like we owe them money so I got a little upset about that. Need to work on a bigger boat. Need to work on better transportation to make the experience better other than that the hotel did a great job and after I spent $4000 for two days I will not be back.

Our second stay and even more incredible! We highly recommend stay at least 4-5 days in paradise so that way you can enjoy everything! Snorkelling every day in clear waters , amazing food and if can do 100 stars of service I would! Activities are so different and fun, my favourite cocktails class and different art classes are so interesting! We came for our anniversary wedding and it couldn’t be more perfect 🤩, start with catamaran experience and complimentary champagne 🍾 ❤️ thank you so much we will be back next year!

We went to Impression Isla Mujeres by Secret for our honeymoon and were so impressed. The property is very clean and staff friendly. We arrived on a private boat and met with our butler Wedinzon. He is an amazing guy, created a group chat on WhatsApp and communicated 24/7 with all our needs. We had a great time making candles, watching movie on a deck, trying Mexican food (private event). Wedinzon helped us to rent golf cart at the resort, did our laundry daily, booked dinners. We also used a private taxi from airport to seaport by Amstar and had a good experience with them.

Our hibachi guy was great and we enjoyed the bike tour. The bad: inconsistent service from butler(s). Had plans fall through even with multiple follow ups. Contacted the property several times before arrival and heard nothing back. All advertised restaurants are not open every night- they rotate which ones are open. Be careful of “ocean view” rooms- our room had a very unappealing view, it looked rough. Worst “ocean view” room we’ve ever had. Beds are hard. Constant elevator music being played around hotel rare to hear anything but that. Night time activities and entertainment are lacking. Our “24 hour laundry” took 72 hours. To us, this was not the level of service that is advertised or expected out of this level of a resort.

From time of arrival, to leaving this property the property itself and the staff met and exceeded all of our expectations. Never have we stayed at a resort where the staff made sure your trip was perfect! Our butlers David and Angel-top notch! The weather was trying to act out on our departure date, and everyone at the resort stayed in communication with us and went to great lengths to ensure we made it to the mainland to make our early flight. From Raul and the wait staff near the beach and pool, to Eduardo at the coffee shop, to the excellent house cleaning staff, to the customer service relations manager, and butlers David and Angel-we were greatly taken care of. This resort gets zero complaints from us. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thank you dearly and keep up the amazing work.

WOW!!!! Let me just say that this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to and I have traveled all over the world for 40 years. It is perfect in almost every way imaginable. Peaceful, gorgeous, roomy, romantic, spacious, clean, high end, charming.....all the very nicest adjectives describe this amazing hotel! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every request even before we anticipated it. We were waited on hand and foot. I've never been so in love with a hotel before. From the moment we stepped off the boat and saw the resort, I knew it was going to be a special stay. I cried when we had to leave because I thought I was in paradise. The thought of leaving truly saddened me. It truly was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. All I can say is you have to go there to understand how special this place is. We are already planning our next trip in October. We will be back! A big shout out to Zaira in Unik restaurant who greeted us every morning with the biggest smile and served us our breakfast. El Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que nos hemos hospedado. El área de playa es impresionantemente bella, tranquila, con camastros cómodos, con el mas hermoso mar que hay en el mundo. Las albercas también son bellas, todo con una vista al océano impresionante. El Roof-Top está increible, es como un lounge con una vista desde lo alto que puedes ver todo el océano y a lo lejos Cancún, con excelente música y ambiente. De verdad estuvimos felices, y queremos agradecer a todo el personal por su amabilidad y por hacer todo lo posible por atendernos y tenernos complacidos. This is my best “all inclusive” experience ever! First of all - the hotel is Spectacular! The location is beautiful and quiet, very romantic, everything is clean and fashionably designed. The pools are fun, the food was beyond all expectations! We stayed at the signature suite which was beautiful, large and had a jacuzzi at the balcony that was facing the ocean. My only turn off was the slow service at the hotel restaurants (depends which server is working at your shift), and the pushiness of the staff to sign you up for the hotel group membership. I literally had to say “No” 3 times before they left me alone. But overall - definitely recommend! We will probably be back!

Pros:Lunch and Dinner was amazing, best we have had at an all inclusive! Shoutout to Israel at SAKE and Heidi at the coffee shop! Hotel was stunning, every corner of this place was beautiful! Daytime activities were super fun! ABE and Paul were phenomenal directing the activities. Cons: They definitely do not provide great service. You supposedly get 2 butlers during your stay and one we never even met and second one would basically just say no to all our requests. My husband tried to do something special for my birthday and they said unfortunately they don’t have anything (no candle/no flowers not even a rose) The pool service and beach service was terrible. Ordered food and was told it would take 30 min which is fine but after waiting 2 hours and asking about our food multiple times we ended up leaving to find some food realizing it wasn’t coming. It came after we got back from lunch which was about 3 hours in total. The beachside service kept asking for tips when he couldn’t even bring us the correct order of drinks. This was definitely the worst service we have ever received at a resort and we have stayed at others like Excellence and Majestic. For the steep price you pay you would expect some type of service and I would say in total you get none of that. Our room would never get restocked even after asking several times. No nightime shows like the other resorts Breakfast was very limited and no breakfast buffet to fall back on so most of the time we opted to skip it

After 9 stays at all inclusive resorts in Cancun (Live Aqua, Secrets of the Vine, Excellence Playa Mujeres) this was hands down our favorite experience. The staff is next level, the food was incredible, the property was stunning and the activities were everything you could ever want. Every single meal we had was 5 star worthy and was as good as any award winning restaurant we have dined at in Los Angeles or New York. The lasagna at Spezia was better than the one we had at a 5 star restaurant in Florence, Italy. The staff took so much time to get to know us, share their passion for the resort and to make recommendations for us based on our preferences. Mourad (the GM) Abraham from the activities team and the Marcos from the beach all went out of their way each day to make sure everything was perfect. We could not have had a better Christmas. A wonderful getaway in Mexico. Staff here absolutely amazing, Jennifer and Angel, the butlers with detailed assistance. Ratkit head of butlers was absolutely superb, so genuine, so kind and so caring about the property and experience. Many luxury hotels can learn a lot from this. Great food, pools and guests. Stayed 6 nights and will do it again many times. This impressions really made an impression.

We attended a wedding. This is the best resort we've staye at in Cancun. Service was impeccable. Angel was our "butler". He was helpful throughout the stay and arranged travel etc. The Italian restaurant was phenomental. We ate there 3 times as a matter of fact. All that being said, yes you do get what you pay for. Would I come back? Probably not because you have to take a ferry to get to the island and because of the steep price.

The property and location is beautiful with incredible views. Its reminds me of a cliffside boutique hotel in the Greek Islands to a certain extent. The staff and service were friendly, accommodating and helpful as most of the Secrets are, the Mexican people and their culture are just wonderful and prideful in there work. The property itself is small compared to its other Secret brand locations so the only negative for me was the number of food choices. Mercada and the Mediterrian restaurant the food was excellent, the Sake /teppan was good also but the Wildfire grill needed some work still. Spa was under a bit of construction still but the facilities were nice. If you staying for 3-5 nights I think its a great place. I think they may have been a little under staffed at the beach/pool area, but the weather was on and off also. The minor issues should not take away from the overall experience, the people there take care of everything for you, our transportation home changed because of the tropical storm they had to rearrange everything for us there was someone from their staff at every location helping the guests in the ports and transportation we didn't have to worry about anything. Service was spectacular and they will accommodate you if they can. Rent a golf cart for a day they take care of it right at the hotel and explore the Playa Norte and check out the different locations on the Island its small so you can tour the whole island in a day no problem.

There is no shuttle to the ferry which is actually a small catamaran. They cannot take Ruff water because we all got soaking wet and the taxi ride from the airport was $130. US we were told that the ferry was gonna leave at 12 noon and we waited an hour and 45 minutes for it to arrive to pick us up. Did not arrive at the hotels schedule docking place a hour later. had to go behind the island because of the rough seas, then take a taxi ride from there to the hotel. And come to find out our room is not ready so we had to wait another 2 1/2 hours. Our luggage was taken out of the taxis and put in an open area to where we felt like anybody could’ve walked off with it then the taxi drivers act like we owe them money so I got a little upset about that. Need to work on a bigger boat. Need to work on better transportation to make the experience better other than that the hotel did a great job and after I spent $4000 for two days I will not be back.

I have traveled a lot of places in the world and this is one of my favorites! Short trip from Dallas! Very very romantic! Quite and everyone is very accommodating. NOT a party hotel! Very upscale and very romantic. It felt like We were on the side of a mountain in Greece. I love love this hotel and definitely will be back!

Very nice hotel. Service was excellent, all employees are very cordial and go beyond their means to help you in any way. Food was very good, well presented and properly balanced. have several infinity pools and a nice beach enclosure to avoid waves.

The place is beautiful and quiet, nice staff and clean, unfortunately only one restaurant really good cause is not much to choose from , Italian restaurant excellent service and quality food. Manager on charge not helpful and need to learn how to improve himself to give the best possible results for guests. ( he wasn’t helpful at all ) and to mention the head butler was so nice and helpful and really on top of making sure everyone was happy and enjoying their time in the hotel , our 2 butler was very professional and super helpful, coffee staff super nice and always with a smile, cleaning staff fantastic the hotel always nice and top clean, waitress in beach area , super friendly and fantastic service

Impression by Secrets Isla Mujures is a stunningly beautiful property with outstanding food and service. My favorite Secrets yet! Angel and Jennifer were attentive butlers and Ab and the entertainment staff led fun activities.

Pros:Lunch and Dinner was amazing, best we have had at an all inclusive! Shoutout to Israel at SAKE and Heidi at the coffee shop! Hotel was stunning, every corner of this place was beautiful! Daytime activities were super fun! ABE and Paul were phenomenal directing the activities. Cons: They definitely do not provide great service. You supposedly get 2 butlers during your stay and one we never even met and second one would basically just say no to all our requests. My husband tried to do something special for my birthday and they said unfortunately they don’t have anything (no candle/no flowers not even a rose) The pool service and beach service was terrible. Ordered food and was told it would take 30 min which is fine but after waiting 2 hours and asking about our food multiple times we ended up leaving to find some food realizing it wasn’t coming. It came after we got back from lunch which was about 3 hours in total. The beachside service kept asking for tips when he couldn’t even bring us the correct order of drinks. This was definitely the worst service we have ever received at a resort and we have stayed at others like Excellence and Majestic. For the steep price you pay you would expect some type of service and I would say in total you get none of that. Our room would never get restocked even after asking several times. No nightime shows like the other resorts Breakfast was very limited and no breakfast buffet to fall back on so most of the time we opted to skip it

This property is beautiful and the staff and service are excellent- Shout out to Martin our butler! The signature rooms are perfect with a hot tub and incredible shower. Really no beach but the set up around the docks are beautiful. Food was excellent (with lots of choices for an all inclusive) and absolutely top shelf liquor. Incredible sunset views. only negative is spa is waaaay overpriced.
