Overall a good visit with a nice hotel experience. My main issue was with the extra charge for parking my car at the hotel. It wasn't disclosed until I got my bill after checkout and saw a $12 cost per day for the privilegeof parking my own car in the hotel's lot. A courtesy email stating a cost was associated with leaving a vehicle in the parking lot would have been nice and appreciated. Not a fan of extra mysterious surprise expenses.

Great hotel & location. Only negative is the $12 nightly parking fee. Last year we stayed at another hotel one block away and they did not charge for parking. Something to consider when making a reservation.

The hotel is amazing with great amenities in the room and in the communal spaces (pool, gym, breakfast/lobby). Paying for parking is unfortunate since there are hotels in the same area that have free self parking. However, parking here definitely feels more secure and depending on the days you stay, it might cheaper even with paying extra for parking. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating as well. I had to check out later than scheduled and it was a simple process of calling down and asking. The cleaning ladies were also amazing and respectful.

I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Excellent service from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance and the dining area. They keep it spotless and smelling fresh. The complementary morning breakfast is really good with hot items, a yogurt bar and various bread products. I love that they have fruit infused water available daily and in the evening hot herbal teas. The design is contemporary and whether sitting in the lobby or outside, the seating encourages you to stay a while. I loved sitting outdoors, and watching the planes taking off overhead. Please be aware that there is a $12 night parking charge. My only recommendation for this hotel would be to offer more vegan products at breakfast.

Overall not terrible, but there were some obvious cleanliness problems that were overlooked by housekeeping when we initially entered. First off, the kitchenette sink was clogged from the previous visitor who obviously tried to cram some kind of burnt food down the drain. Maintenance fixed it, but it should have been done beforehand because it was nasty. Also, there were empty Budweiser cans in the bathroom. We have kids...what if they found them before us, and started playing with them and drank the leftovers from them? There were also dirty towels in the bathroom with makeup stains on them. These are pretty glaring issues. If you can look past that, the hotel was fine.

The property was clean. The rooms are very nice simple, but cleans. Every day they had coffee, tea and hot cocoa for the taking, which was great when you came in from a cold day.. Breakfast was simple, but hit the spot. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to bust your bank and stay close to the mall.

I stayed at the Element Hotel Bloomington for 3 nights with my family of four, including two young kids. We booked a room with two queen beds, but when we arrived at 11:30 PM, we were told our room wasn’t available due to overbooking, which, shockingly, is part of their policy. With two tired children, being offered to move to a different hotel at midnight was not a realistic or acceptable option. The staff was unhelpful and unresponsive. The hotel was also not adequately clean—trash bags sat in the hallway for more than 24 hours during our stay, which was both unsightly and unhygienic. Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience. I expected much better from a hotel at this price point. I do not recommend staying here, especially with family.

The room was spacious and very clean. The only thing we didn't like was that the ALL the pillows were super soft so we didn't sleep as well. It would have been nicer to have a firmer pillow choice along with the soft. Bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows. Also because it's JUST south of the airport the airplanes are super loud while taking off.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchenette was fully stocked wirh anything you could need. The free breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Short walk to the mall. We got take out from the pizza place right next door and it was good. Very happy i chose this place.

Loved this place, so nice and fresh. Love the decor. Beds were super comfy. Love that it had pretty much a full kitchen. If we would’ve wanted it even the sofa bed was comfortable.

It was great. Really nice room and our TV had no channels when we got there and mtc. was right up and dealt with it. Love how the ice was bagged in the lobby and the full kitchen, fridge etc etc. Nice desk and work area too. Really nice quality bathroom too. One of the best rooms I have had in a long while and a decent price.

This was likely the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. We were 2 adults, 2 adult children and 2 teens in a 2 bed room with pull out sofa. Beds were really comfortable, pull out not so much but that’s to be expected. The room was immaculate, with a large fridge, dishwasher, full range of dishes to cook on a range top (we didn’t use). A huge plus about this hotel was it’s so quiet, planes were flying over all morning and while you could hear them the sound was muffled and didn’t wake anyone up. The breakfast was really good. Hot choices that actual tasted decent (no powdered eggs), a yogurt bar, the usual cereals and pastries - but was fresh and delicious unlike a lot of other hotel breakfasts. Pool was ok but we didn’t choose this hotel for the pool. Literally walk across the street to the mall of America. The pizza place right next to the hotel (shoutout to Pizza Navaro) was excellent. The staff was fairly decent, everyone was 5 star (especially the cleaning staff)except a couple of the front desk ladies. Check in was smooth, parking was great. All in all impressed and I would definitely stay here again with older kids.

The room was big and very nice. They were willing to give us a lamp to use in the room. The only downside would be the noise of the airplanes flying overhead. Also the pull out couch is not very comfortable but the bed is great.

What is the point of paying more money for a room with 2 beds, booking the room, checking in and paying in full just to find out that you have a room with just 1 bed. You head back down to the front desk and are told, sorry all of our 2 bed rooms are sold. You explain you paid and booked a 2 bed room. Their explaination is well there were only 2 people onnyour reservation. We can send you across the parking lot to another hotel. Then to find out they were just going to transfer a larger amount of money to that hotel because a quick google search found those rooms to be considerably cheaper. This is just downright fraud. The second property was great, almost wished i would have just booked it first.

The property and the room are great. I took issue with the service and cleanliness. If you try to check in early. Forget it. I called a day ahead to try to check in 1.5 hours early. Nothing available. Nothing was available until the actual check in time. I asked if we could swim before the room was available. I was told yes. Someone would let us in. Nope. That didn’t happen. Other guests let us in. Then my niece cut open her foot in the hot tub pool because there is broken glass along the bottom. I told the other family who was swimming and the front desk. The front desk basically said, “oh.” I wasn’t seeking a dramatic response but maybe a “hey, is she okay?” Would have been nice. I am surprised by the poor service of staff at a Marriott. Usually this is our go to property when leaving MSP. Not anymore. There must be over 10 hotels in the area. Trying my luck elsewhere.

Everything was amazing! Special shout out to Monique who greeted us so warmly at check in and James who so helpful, kind and compassionate. We had to book another room to get by with two sick kiddos and James was such a pro, made it work great for our family of five, and saved our MOA spring break staycation.

Front desk staff were always present and friendly. Person who checked us in was so helpful and really went out of her way to allow us an early check in. Good breakfast each morning, good restaurants nearby too. Mall of America right across the street.

Terrible check in, they wanted me to contact Hotels.com to change the name on the invoice. I must have the company name on hte invoice and use it as family name, they did not accept to check me in. Horrible experience. Breakfast is served in the lobby area which is very cold when it is winter and the food selection at breakfast was very very limited

I stayed at the Element Hotel Bloomington for 3 nights with my family of four, including two young kids. We booked a room with two queen beds, but when we arrived at 11:30 PM, we were told our room wasn’t available due to overbooking, which, shockingly, is part of their policy. With two tired children, being offered to move to a different hotel at midnight was not a realistic or acceptable option. The staff was unhelpful and unresponsive. The hotel was also not adequately clean—trash bags sat in the hallway for more than 24 hours during our stay, which was both unsightly and unhygienic. Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience. I expected much better from a hotel at this price point. I do not recommend staying here, especially with family.

I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Excellent service from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance and the dining area. They keep it spotless and smelling fresh. The complementary morning breakfast is really good with hot items, a yogurt bar and various bread products. I love that they have fruit infused water available daily and in the evening hot herbal teas. The design is contemporary and whether sitting in the lobby or outside, the seating encourages you to stay a while. I loved sitting outdoors, and watching the planes taking off overhead. Please be aware that there is a $12 night parking charge. My only recommendation for this hotel would be to offer more vegan products at breakfast.

It was a nice place to stay and super close to the metro that goes to Downtown Minneapolis and also to Mall of America. All walking distance and close to the airport as well. We had a nice room and view. The jacuzzi was also nice to relax in.

We walked to the mall, and walked back with no issues… the hotel is right near the airport so listening to planes and seeing the belly of airplanes overhead are the norm. Breakfast was amazing…

Nice clean room and kitchenette with good soundproofing. Courtyard us lovely. Easy parking in invluded parking ramp. This hotel and two others form a safe little area with parking and restaurant across the street from the East parking ramp of the Mall of America.

Nice property, staff at the hotel was great, across the street from MOA, clean, very nice rooms. Didn’t realize it was that close to airport-plane fly right over lot starting very early in the morning. The walk back to the hotel is through the transit part of MOA-a little sketchy. We lost something, called and emailed the hotel to see if it was turned in-Never heard anything.

The property was clean. The rooms are very nice simple, but cleans. Every day they had coffee, tea and hot cocoa for the taking, which was great when you came in from a cold day.. Breakfast was simple, but hit the spot. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to bust your bank and stay close to the mall.

Very gluten free friendly they had several options for breakfast. Including bread and bagels. Their small shop also had several gf food items. My daughter and I are celiac. Very thankful for these options.

The breakfast is amazing at this hotel, there were lots of options, delicious food. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. There are really good dining options on the same lot. And also the Mall of America is right across the street, with the public transit station right there too. The pool area was clean and the water was a comfortable temperature. We stayed there for 6 nights and we would recommend this hotel.
