The bed wasn’t too comfortable. AC unit kept warming the room up in the middle of the night. The car park has space for about twenty vehicles and its first come first serve. If you cannot park there you have to use the train station car park which is £8 for 24 hours. I think next time I’ll just use the premier inn to avoid these problems.

Excellent location near the train station. Staff were friendly. Comfy beds and decent breakfast. The lift being out of order during the whole stay was quite inconvenient! I was a bit confused by the free water situation that was supposedly available at reception, according to information in the room. When I requested some water, there didn’t seem to be any, and after a lot of waiting was charged for two cans. Overall, great value for money and would stay again.

A very strange hotel. There was very limited parking and the availability of local car parks that needed payment was not well signposted - and the immediate area around the hotel wasn’t where we wanted to go wheeling our suitcases. The lift wasn’t working (we had received an email informing us about this) but we were placed on the fourth floor, which was six floors from ground level. We called into the bar for a bottle of wine at the end of the evening and felt that the member of staff (in a deserted bar) did not listen to us. We asked what white wine he sold by the bottle and he told us about one type, seeming to hope that we would want that and then offered us rose! I asked for an ice bucket but he gave us a glass of ice (does Ibis not have any ice buckets) and poured us two glasses of wine. When I took the bottle, he informed us that he had not charged us for a bottle. I was not paying but it seems that he charged us £8.30 for two large glasses of wine - and then charged us another £11 for the remainder of the bottle! The overall price seemed right but we would have been much better off sticking with the two glasses,

Good size room. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were very flat and hard. Noisy as it was close to main roads and the train station! Good shower. Not deep clean, there was a ring of dirt around the bottom of the taps.

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel, the overall cleanliness of the hotel is poor, I stayed on the 30th august 2025, it wasn’t until after I booked that the hotel made me aware the lift was broken which i think is bad, should definitely be made aware before booking, I have bad legs so walking up and down those stairs was a struggle especially since I was on the 3rd floor :( reception staff were polite but that’s the only kind thing I could say, the room wasn’t clean, dust was left in alot of places, the whole hotel had a bad smell too unsure wether that was the sewers maybe?. overall 1/10 hotel needs some tlc

Took a long time to check in room not ready. Had to walk up stairs from car park area the lift did not appear to be working on call. The bed was very hard lumpy and uncomfortable. It seems that the shower/washroom unit is leaking around its perimeter as the carpets by the shower door and near the bed were very wet underfoot. The washroom had a distinct smell of drains. All in all a very poor experience unlikely to book Ibis in the future.

On arrival the glass panel at the front of the hotel was smashed which didn't create the best of confidence in the hotel. On entering the room it was dirty, carpet had not been cleaned the bed was badly made and the bathroom was a mess. There was urine on the toilet seat. Completely unacceptable and would avoid. On informing the hotel we were offered a complementary coffee for our troubles.

This was exactly as expected Clean room with triple glazing as noisy road outside. Disabled parking right outside rear entrance which was gr8 Only downside was that mattress was quite hard so a bit achy when woke up but it must be difficult for them to please everyone. Good rating x

Decent location and generally clean place. The floor had stains all over it but for the price I can't complain. What I do complain about is the ever so slight gap in the window frame that made it whistle every night. One hour of sleep per night by my estimate.

The location is convenient for the station but the wrong side of town for the nicer restaurants and bars. Stains on bedding, holes in curtains. Ibis pod bathrooms are average but the shower was fine. Old, small TV on the wall. It's a budget hotel, but quality was still below expectations. I'd pay a bit more for something better next time.

Very average. Room was quite clean but could do with a refurb. Doors closing so loud at night prevented me from sleeping. No one was on the desk or around when i checked out. I stayed in a different Ibis a few years ago which was much more vibrant,modern and had friendly vibe so compared with this one it was disappointing. Overall not worth the price of stay.

Really enjoyed the stay here. Nice room and nice,helpful staff. Spent the evenings in the bar and it was nice and chilled. Breakfast was beautiful and had a good selection. Bed was very comfy and the room was lovely. Housekeeping also spot on. Room was near the road and people round Leicester seem to like being loud and beeping the horn haha. The only issue was that the corridor stunk, it was better after the cleaners had been round but it soon came back. I won't say what it smelt of!

On arrival, my Sat Nav was unable to direct me to the entrance of the hotel. I have never been to Leicester before, so I called the reception for a few suggestions how to get into the car park. The receptionist, went above and beyond. She stayed with me on the phone (hands free kit) and guided me to the car park, and was so helpful and reassuring. Once I finally arrived, my son and I was greeted by the lovely friendly receptionist, who had guided me there, and another gentleman worker. Both staff were truly outstanding to your Ibis reputation. They both where friendly and helpful, they offered me a map so I could find my way around Leicester, and especially more so to visit the Space Centre, which was my intended reason for staying at the establishment. The gentleman worker, prompted the Ibis offer of signing up to the All Occur, which enable me to have a free drink. Which was a bonus after a long journey from my home town. The room was well ventilated, clean and fresh towels to use. My son and I woke up to enjoy the lovely breakfast included in my stay, which set us up for our busy day. So all in all I would highly rate this hotel, and would definitely return, when we visit the Space centre again. :)

This place is a gong show. The general manager is a hot mess. The food is mediocre at best and the service was horrible. You check in at the bar so there was a couple people (max 3) in front of us. The que continued to grow and so did our wait time. We eventually got served after serving all the bar orders that came up after us (the only reason we were checked in 1/2 an hour later was because the next guy at the bar told The General Manager to check us in) The General manager was doing both check in and putting in orders. He was disorganized and didn't seem to know how to use the system. The staff was also getting upset with him because he wasn't able to manage the work/orders. We get to our "air conditioned" room which has a little AC above the door, that doesn't blow cold air past the bathroom. The bathroom feels like you're on a plane and smells like sewage. The menu had a good selection but is quite pricy for the quality that you get.

We called into the bar for a bottle of wine at the end of the evening and felt that the member of staff (in a deserted bar) did not listen to us. We asked what white wine he sold by the bottle and he told us about one type, seeming to hope that we would want that and then offered us rose! I asked for an ice bucket but he gave us a glass of ice (does Ibis not have any ice buckets) and poured us two glasses of wine. When I took the bottle, he informed us that he had not charged us for a bottle. I was not paying but it seems that he charged us £8.30 for two large glasses of wine - and then charged us another £11 for the remainder of the bottle! The overall price seemed right but we would have been much better off sticking with the two glasses,

Had a good stay at Ibis. Excellent location at the edge of city center and away from the hustle and bustle. It's a no-frills place and was fit for purpose. Nice bar and restaurant too and very helpful Staff members.

Stay would have been ok, but when I arrived, the car park was full, so I had to take a chance and at the suggestion of another resident, parked on a single yellow line at the back of the hotel. After driving for a few hours to get to the hotel, I was hungry and ordered some food at the bar (incidentally the same place you check in... weird). I ordered a double burger and fries but when it arrived there was only a single burger. When I mentioned this it was taken away and another burger added, however when I got my meal back it seems while the cook was making another burger the rest of my meal was left to go cold. So the result was I ate a meal with t hot burger, one cold burger and cold fries. I suspect this is because the staff wear 'too many hats' . To top this off, I had very little sleep as there was a loud metallic banging noise that went on for hours.

The rooms are well designed, so although small, they do not feel cramped. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. The bathroom had a large walk in shower cubicle. My main criticism was the mattress, which was firm but not supportive. It was hard to get comfortable. Our air conditioning was not working, which didn't help either. Reception is also the bar and breakfast room. It is well furnished. Breakfast is good value and there is a wide selection of hot food and continental options. Checkin and checkout was very easy. We were able to park free of charge in the small hotel car park. Staff in the hotel were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They made our brief stay very enjoyable.

A pleasant, comfortable hotel situated conveniently close to the station. The room and bathroom were surprisingly big, the bed comfortable. I couldn't work out the air-conditioning which seemed quite determined that I should bake when I wanted the room much cooler: if I'd been staying more than one night I would have asked for help. The included breakfast was OK - though, extraordinarily, they'd run out of orange juice!

Very decent budget hotel, highlights being it's cleaniness and functionality and well placed for the city centre - within walking distance for most. I would stay here again for these reasons, other similar competitors were more expensive. Only downside for me was that the cooked breakfast was not that appetising, overcooked and also not hot but buffet breakfasts left sitting out can often be like that. So some competitors would score higher here but otherwise this Ibis was a pleasurable experience.
