This place was disgusting. The hallways smelled like literal poop and the room stank of cigarettes. The outer door didn't close/ lock properly so anyone could get in and there were no screens on our windows. The bed was super uncomfortable and the fitted sheet didn't fit properly and kept slipping off. People were yelling out in the parking lot and at the nearby bar all night. I had to book this stay last minute because my mother was admitted to the nearby hospital and it cost nearly $200 for an absolute trash heap.

Don’t stay here! It’s disgusting!! There were bags of garbage by the elevator. The halls were in vacuumed and dirty. There was never anyone at the desk, even when we’d ring the bell. The breakfast was a. Huffing or breakfast bar and coffee. No creamer. Don’t waste your money or time on this place!!

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Upon arrival a boy was riding his bike down the hallway. That should have been our first clue. In our room we had baby cockroaches on the floor, and throughout the night the light sensor continued to react to any movement, turning all of the main lights on in the room. The sheets were clean, that was the one positive. Along the baseboards was a collection of grease and dust that is a perfect environment for the ants that marched alongside the walls. I would highly recommend NOT staying at this property.

We put our clients up in this hotel while we were working on their home and it was an absolute disaster. They checked in and after a hour in bed they were covered in bedbugs. The front desk we easy to work with as far as refunding the stay. They did not seem at all surprised about the bedbug situation. So at 10:30 at night, me and my clients had to find a new hotel for their family of four. I do not recommend!

Checked in, it smelled like urine in the hallways. The room was dirty especially the bathroom fan. Live roaches running around the counter top. Front seat was very kind and gave me a refund. I did not stay longer than 30 mins.

It was gross, we didn’t even stay the night! The faucet wasn’t attached fully to the sink, there was a whole in the bathroom door, the air didn’t work, the bed was horrible, the kitchen was dirty and sticky. We just left after a while. I want to get a refund since we didn’t stay there because it was so bad.

The floors were filthy. We had to wear shoes the entire time. And the bed had the thinnest of covers. It was humid even with the air on and the bed was small with lumps for pillows. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Night clerk had no personality. 1 key for 2 people. Floors were dirty. Someone urinated in the West end stairwell that was already unkept. Room was comfortable, however have to request any kitchen amenities. Not even a coffee maker. Looked like a fist punch in bathroom door. Bathroom sink slow to drain. Chose an Extended Stay because we came out for a specific food we planned to come back and enjoy. Right next to the highway with some sketchy people in parking lot relieving themselves. Planned to add photos, but app won't allow me.

The property is run down my TV didn't work and the breakfast was pretty bad with only coffee as a drink. The price was high for what you got. bedspread was as thin as the sheet and no other blanket.

Just needed a place to stay for one night. Was a quiet little place. Although the fire department showed up, and when we went to check out the next morning we sat in the lobby for 40 minutes with no service eventually we just left. Thankfully we paid upfront when we arrived the day before. Other than that. Nice hotel, affordable.

The front desk guy was so high fro marijuana that he reaked of that we had to wake him up while he was sleeping on the counter and then he didnt remember checking is in five minutes prior. We rented a room with a pullout couch and a queen bed and we didn't have a pullout couch. We had to ask family to borrow a cot for our daughter. Breakfast was not out when it was supposed to be, it was hours late and all the food(milk and snacks for the baby spoiled because the fridge didnt work) we have always had good experiences at extended stay in Des Moines but this is absolutely ridiculous. How does this guy even have a job?

Area was a bit shady and it’s right along a busy highway. The hotel corridors and room itself were deplorable. The furniture was ripped and stained. The dresser was extremely worn, marred, and looked dirty. The tile floors were sticky and I had dirty feet after walking barefoot on it. The blinds didn’t go all the way down no matter how much I tried to lower them. The cook surface was extremely dirty and deteriorated. If it wasn’t so late and we were so tired, we would have changed hotels. Very bad experience.

Place was close to where we need to go. So we booked it. Never ever have we ever experienced such a bad place. We'll never book here or this type of place anymore.The entire place smelt like Marijuana. The room was not cleaned. Bed sheets were dirty with yellow stains and pillows were dirty and smelled nasty. Bathroom door had a hole in it. Also bathroom had roachs crawling on the ground and the toilet and bathtub. Throughout the night it smelt like Marijuana all night. Front desk receptionist was very unprofessional. I had to ask to get the bedsheets replaced. Due to them not being clean. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Checking in was easy. The overall experience was just okay. I would not book this location for my family again. We check in late after our original hotel did not go well. It has been a long night. We booked a studio with a full size bed and a sleeper sofa. I understand that every one is short staff and that places are trying to be more eco-friendly. After a long day of traveling and having to leave our previous hotel, we were ready for a shower and bed. I had to call for extra blankets and pillows for the sleeper sofa. Our bathroom had no large bath towels for showering, just hand towels and face wash clothes. When I called again, I was told that I would have to go down and grab them. That was inconvenient for me. Also, this location lists that they provide breakfast. The next morning, when my husband took our dog out, I had asked him to go check out what they have for breakfast. He came back and said there was just coffee. We left the hotel around 9 am to go start out our day. The was a lady working the desk, so I inquired about breakfast. She said that once the oatmeal and muffins run out, breakfast is done. I felt like this hotel should NOT advertise that they provide breakfast. It is very misleading.
