Very nice hotel. Our room was attractive and comfortable. We found it a little hot but the fan helped. There was a good big bath and shower in a roomy bathroom. The staff were friendly and approachable and we felt very welcome. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere. We had a lovely meal in the bar - excellent quality and very tasty. Breakfast was also of a high standard. Easy to park nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was immaculate, the finish was perfect and it was very clean. We had a pet friendly room which was lovely and it was a nice surprise to have dog bowls, treats, dog bed and blanket in the room. Breakfast was very nice and we also chose to have dinner in the pub due our stay which was also very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Just a couple of very small things which could make the whole experience a bit better would be plumper pillows and the way in from the car park doesn’t really match up to how amazing the rest of the establishment is.

Really great place to stay. We stayed in room located in what we think was the original stable yard. The room was immaculate and perfectly Set out. The bar/ restaurant was a great place to hang out with friendly staff and great food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small slice of beautiful Yorkshire on your travels.

Two nights in this beautiful little town. The George is a real treat good old fashioned charming pub and restaurant. Excellent professional friendly staff, our only disappointment was the size of the bed. A regular double in a room large enough for a king and more comfortable for two cuddly adults. Overall excellent stay Thankyou to the staff at the George

Lively Georgian pub, excellent dining and nothing too much trouble for a friendly and helpful staff. Despite lively bar the bedroom was quiet if a little warm even with heating off. I am partially sighted and the lighting throughout was far too "subdued" - the only fault.

The food and service in the restaurant was great. However I was really disappointed with the condition of the room - the bathroom in particular was really shabby and the tiles were dirty. There was also a really long wait when we first arrived at the hotel to check-in. The pub and restaurant were both busy, so a short delay was understandable, but we were waiting nearly 15 minutes. For £120 a night, it did not offer good value.

What a lovely place ☺️ We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night,the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us,no matter how busy they were,it was like they were only serving us,the food was lovely and the decor of the bar and restaurant are stunning,it’s such a shame that we live so far away,if we didn’t I would most definitely stay here again,I 100% recommend you stay here xx

Lovely hotel in a great village location. Very much a quaint hotel but the cleaning of the room could have been better. The bathroom let the room down and it needed some decoration doing to it.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who check us in, showed us to our room and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean, we ate evening meals in the restaurant on two night, the menu had plenty of choice, the staff were all very good with nothing being too much trouble, not only was the service very efficient the staff made you feel welcome. We also ate in the restaurant for three breakfasts and the service, food quality, staff friendliness and efficiency was excellent. Throughout the day the hotel was busy and welcoming, but they always had enough staff to cater for the demand.

Although I arrived late in the evening I had a warm welcome and check in. Great Yorkshire hospitality at its best, My room was very spacious for the night, a fantastic breakfast cooked to order the following morning. All the staff were both professional and courteous in their duties. A refreshing change from the usual chain hotels or city hotels. Highly recommend this place, and Easingwold is a beautiful small town.

Beautiful olde English pub with great atmosphere, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We had a dog friendly room at the back of the property, easy walking to local park. Excellent breakfast and evening meal the best vegetarian I’ve had ad in years.

Although I arrived late in the evening I had a warm welcome and check in. Great Yorkshire hospitality at its best, My room was very spacious for the night, a fantastic breakfast cooked to order the following morning. All the staff were both professional and courteous in their duties. A refreshing change from the usual chain hotels or city hotels. Highly recommend this place, and Easingwold is a beautiful small town.

Very nice hotel. Our room was attractive and comfortable. We found it a little hot but the fan helped. There was a good big bath and shower in a roomy bathroom. The staff were friendly and approachable and we felt very welcome. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere. We had a lovely meal in the bar - excellent quality and very tasty. Breakfast was also of a high standard. Easy to park nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was immaculate, the finish was perfect and it was very clean. We had a pet friendly room which was lovely and it was a nice surprise to have dog bowls, treats, dog bed and blanket in the room. Breakfast was very nice and we also chose to have dinner in the pub due our stay which was also very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Just a couple of very small things which could make the whole experience a bit better would be plumper pillows and the way in from the car park doesn’t really match up to how amazing the rest of the establishment is.

Really great place to stay. We stayed in room located in what we think was the original stable yard. The room was immaculate and perfectly Set out. The bar/ restaurant was a great place to hang out with friendly staff and great food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small slice of beautiful Yorkshire on your travels.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who check us in, showed us to our room and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean, we ate evening meals in the restaurant on two night, the menu had plenty of choice, the staff were all very good with nothing being too much trouble, not only was the service very efficient the staff made you feel welcome. We also ate in the restaurant for three breakfasts and the service, food quality, staff friendliness and efficiency was excellent. Throughout the day the hotel was busy and welcoming, but they always had enough staff to cater for the demand.

Lovely old pub with an excellent drinks selection, especially cask beers. Stayed B&B and was good value for money. The room was comfortable but needed a bit of tlc, especially the bathroom. The breakfast choice was good and the full Yorkshire was cooked to perfection. Also ate in the restaurant twice and can highly recommend. Overall a great break in a lovely pub hotel.
