Loved the fact it was close to the beach and to the freeway. Did not like that the pool was dirty, jacuzzi was out of order, laundry was out of order, wifi kept disconnecting. I did not get fresh towels or linens our second day

It was pretty quiet on the grounds considering it was right next to the freeway. Even though the food at breakfast is only so-so, the lady running the breakfast was so helpful and kind. The pool was not heated which made it unusable on a chilly day but the hot tub was nice.

I’m unlikely to stay at this hotel again. It clearly needs a lot of maintenance — starting with a bathroom door that doesn’t lock, a chipped wooden door, and even roaches in the tub. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the pool. While there is a pool, unfortunately, it was empty and had no water.

Room and public areas were spotlessly clean. Pool needed a little work, though -- the water was a bit cloudy. Jacuzzi was better but needed vacuuming. The bed was firm but not hard like others have complained about -- I like a firm bed and I thought it was quite comfortable. Choice of firm or soft pillows -- I liked that. Breakfast buffet was about average for a hotel of this class. On the whole I was satisfied and would stay here again.

The staff was very accommodating when it came to needs. The room was big, it did have 3 beds which was nice but there was mold around the door in the bathroom. Traveling with a family I always have to do at least a load of laundry on vacation and found it insane that it was $6 to do a load of laundry that only takes quarters.

Property is outdated and hasn’t been upkept. Cleanliness is okay, but the room has a terrible mildew and moldy smell. It is conveniently located. Good for a quick over night stay.

The room was gross. The shower curtain was ripped and almost falling off. There was pee around the base of the toilet. The fan in the bathroom was covered in dust. I would never stay at this hotel again.

The staff was great. The hotel was okay but the room I had was definitely not the cleanest. The floor was dirty, the walls in the bathroom had stuff all over and the shower was not clean very well at all. The freeway was pretty noisy early, sleeping in was not going to happen. For me the location is great but unfortunately I don’t think I will be staying here again due to how noisy and dirty the room was.

Nice tucked away hotel. Feels private. Beautiful around grounds with ocean views. Walkable to places. Hotel staff was very nice, clean hotel. Pool had no towels in the enclosure all 3 times I went so that was inconvenient. Room door did not close fully unless forced and checked. Light inside room at entry was burnt out. Bathrooms drains smelled terrible, ,especially the stand in shower!, causing my room to stink and couldn't get room switched for second night. Breakfast was a little disappointing.

Clean rooms. Inconsistent water temperature in the shower (scalding hot in the evening with cold water in the morning-regardless of how we modulated it). Sloping mattress on one side. Otherwise, rooms were comfortable enough with a standard continental breakfast.

Our room was good. We've stayed at this hotel a handful of times over the last 5-6 years. Each time the service was welcoming. This trip was also good however the water pressure for the shower was very, very lacking. I did go and ask the front desk if maintenance can stop by, I was told that they have left for the day but she would contact the manager and would have someone stop by the following day. I did not hear any updates since my complaint so we just dealt with it but it was virtually impossible to shower in a timely manner. Other than that, everything was fine and I will be happy to stay again

I booked rooms late but on the website I booked 1 room with 2 beds. It was for me, my husband and my 2 adult kids. We were there for a competition so I know they were probably already sold out. The front desk person was really sweet. I liked her. The room we ended up with wasn’t as stated, which was 1 room with 2 beds, but that was ok. We got 2 rooms next to each other, with 1 bed in each room and adjoining and was not charged extra. It was only the first floor around the corner from the front desk area. She did apologize but who’s kidding.. nice to have a separate room for more privacy. I liked this option and was pleased. Not only that but she was incredibly helpful and I liked her vibe. We had breakfast at the hotel which was free and they had great options.

Hotel staff was nice, easy check in and check out. Room was clean and breakfast was decent. Had a shower head leak and front desk staff put work order in, (don’t bother calling they won’t answer). I had to follow up twice and leak was never fixed. Manager checked in with us which is nice and told us it will get fixed. I taped the leak for the time being, so it doesn’t leaked over the shower curtain and getting towels and floor wet while taking a shower. There’s also an incident at the back of hotel where we parked ( as me and my sister walking back in to hotel, a woman and a man on a maroonish red car had doors open and car running at the back of hotel where you can’t see them. As soon as I got inside the hotel, the woman then asked my sister before she goes inside, if she want to buy a 5 dollar vape, my sister said no. These are signs of unsafe environment especially for kids. More cameras in the back parking lot could help deter sketchy activities. Overall a decent hotel, just feel unsafe after parking lot incident.

The hotel is pretty average. For the price it is pretty good. The front desk staff were helpful and the morning breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked her alot. The breakfast was good and well stocked and the area was kept clean by the wonderful breakfast staff. Our room was pretty basic. The floors were visibly dirty and unfortunately we didn't feel too comfortable walking on it without shoes or socks. The beds were not very comfortable but they seemed clean. Our shower leaked all night. not just droplets, like a very slow stream. We let them know but no one ever came to check it. Overall for the price it was fine.

The customer service was great! Julio provided an ace bandage when my daughter was injured, and appeared genuinely concerned. Gene was a wealth of information about the and and so nice. Breakfasts were also delicious and convenient. Thank you for the sweet spot to rest during the holidays!❤️

The pool is unheated and the hot tub was broken when we arrived. We checked in then quickly checked out. We booked this hotel through Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel several times while we were there asking permission for them to provide a refund. They claimed that the Hotel manager was not available and he was the only one able to give authorization to waive the fee. He never picked up their call, nor did he return their call, and still has not given "authorization" to have our reservation refunded. We stayed across the street at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms, which was the same price, very clean, and had an amazing hot breakfast. Save yourself the time and trouble and book elsewhere.

Very clean and well kept property. I had a nice room with a separate living room and a balcony. Very conviently located, but it is just off a major street/highway so it can be a bit noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and free parking make this property a great value.

Someone is always in the lobby incase someone needs anything. Location is nice. Right next to highway, Oceanside St Market, starbucks and breakfast restaurants. About 5 minute drive to the pier.

Property was great and staff were even better! Breakfast was good! My kiddos were happy about waffles! Coffee wasn’t the greatest but there was a Starbucks within walking distance (3-4 min) There are ton of food and shopping options! And so close to Oceanside Beach!

I have been staying here a few nights a week on business and love everthing about the accommodations except for sausage and egg breakfast every single morning. I've stayed at many hotels the last few years, and most have a variety daily at the least. Gotta love the waffles!!

The hotel is pretty average. For the price it is pretty good. The front desk staff were helpful and the morning breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked her alot. I stay here every few weeks. For the rate ot is a great place to stay. The only complaint is the horrible breakfast sausage patties and scrambled eggs get old. Cheese omelets are equally as bad. Love the waffle bar. Who doesn't
