Friendly people , lovely view from room , out door seating lovely .

On arrival we were able to access our room even though we had arrived a little early. Asked if we were having breakfast and when we replied yes, charged £10.95 each for both our days. Only to learn that it’s only included in the price if booked directly with the hotel. On entering the room I realised it was not the same picture as the one on the booking page, when telling this to the manager she advised that the booking is only on the amount of beds not the actual room. This was most likely my fault though as I don’t book hotels very regularly. The manager did however offer an alternative room but it was not really suitable for us due to there being more stairs involved. We kept our original room. Although the room looked as though it had recently been painted it was not looking very well cleaned. The bathroom floor was a little dirty, there was a layer of dust on the ceiling lights, all the skirting boards were covered in dust. The towels and bedding were clean though. Some of the milks and coffee sachets were not in date, 2025, but there were plenty provided. Had dinner there on our first night, it was nice. The staff were all friendly especially the lady who served us our breakfast on the Tuesday morning, (I don’t know her name though sorry) she is a credit to the business. The outside seating areas were nice especially the covered areas where we sat whilst having a drink All in all an ok stay, when visiting Barmouth again I would probably try somewhere else though.

The hotel was a good choice for our family of 4. The kids had their own space and beds and the beach view was lovely. The food was good and we sat outside and enjoyed the sea while we ate. All the staff we encountered were very friendly.

The location is beautiful the rooms very clean however we had broken drawers and TV didn’t work no hot water some staff helpful other staff just commented that there were worse things around hotel other than no tv or hot water Food was beautiful bar staff lovely there was a family room to take kids but couldn’t get in as full of same adults overnight I think if you advertise family room it should be for families and not adults wanting to play pool all the time

whan we booked with expedia our paperwork assured us we had free breakfast however when we booked in the receptionist said because we hadnt booked with the hotel directly we would be charged over £20 per day for breakfast i think this is a complete con and we would have never booked if we had know breakfast wasnt included we however will never use expedia again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
