Hotel Gettysburg

Upon arrival the desk clerk was rude and when I told her I couldn't hear or understand what she was saying/mumbling in a heavy accent she just rolled her eyes and went on as if I was a bother and interrupted her day. Then we learned we had to pay $18 per night for parking. There was no mention of that when we booked the room for over $300 per night. The room was comfortable enough. Doubtful that we would stay here again because of the awful experience our stay started off with though.

Beautiful property, excellent restaurant, very friendly staff, excellent waitress, location on the square excellent Parking close in city garage. Will go again

Nice, well-maintained property right downtown. Older hotel but appears to have been recently updated and refurbished nicely. Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. No free breakfast, but the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was fine. The only downside I saw was that there is no hotel parking lot or valet parking. Instead, you need to drive around back of the hotel and down an alley and then there is a modest, multi-story, city-owned parking lot basically across from the back entrance to the hotel. I was traveling with someone with mobility issues and was able to park in the short-term parking right in front of the hotel to drop him off, then go park in the city garage, but I am glad I didn't have to make him walk directly to where we had to park the car for the night.

Very great trip for our group. We had 3 rooms and everyone was extremely pleased.

Location was great, restaurant was good, very clean and the hotels’ condition was kept up well. It would of been nice to have at least a continental breakfast!
