Sunny Villas are located in a great location in Imerovigli. The staff was friendly and courteous. They made numerous recommendations for local food and wine. I will stay there again on our next trip to Santorini! Note: you cannot drive directly to Sunny Villas. You must park and walk to the lobby and room. They will help with moving your luggage. This is common with many hotels in the area since they are located on the side of a cliff! Well worth the walk, the room was wonderful with a beautiful view.

Absolutely amazing stay at hotel sunny villas. We stayed in the suite and it was so unique. Loved our private jacuzzi/pool and the view is breathtaking. The staff is lovely! We will stay there again in the future.

wonderful view, but the hot tub was never hot, just warm water. and it was very disappointing because we were going on our honeymoon and that was one of the most important reasons why we chose this place 😢 . It doesn't have its own boiler... we couldn't use it, The check-in wasn't on time, they made us wait 40 minutes Good breakfast *

My husband and i had an amazing 2 weeks at Sunny Villas. The staff are wonderful the views from our balcony are breathtaking and breakfast every morning brought to our balcony was delicious. The only small downfall, and only because we are seniors and my husband has an artificial hip, is the stairs. Otherwise would highly recommend this great hotel.

Warum auch immer konnten/durften/ mussten wir bei 7 Tage Aufenthalt 3x Zimmer wechseln. - ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Unsere eigentlich auch nicht aber was sollten wir tun. Gebucht hatten wir 7 Tage Honeymoon. Zu den Zimmern: 1.zimmer: Premium Suite - sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit Tisch im Außenbereich zum frühstücken. Weniger toll man liegt direkt am Fußweg der vielen Menschen, die den Sonnenuntergang sehen wollen oder nach OIA gehen. 2. Zimmer Executive honeymoon - unserer Meinung das beste Zimmer. Groß, geräumig, nicht direkt am Fußweg!sprich es geht nicht ständig jemand vorbei und klotzt rein, was wirklich nervig wird. Hier haben wir nur den Tisch zum gemütlich draußen frühstücken vermisst. 3. Zimmer: das eigentlich gebuchte. Schön, geräumig wirklich toll bis auf die vielen Menschen die klotzend vorbei gehen. Privatsphäre gleich null sofern man sich nicht im Zimmer aufhält und die Türe schließt! Bei honymoon hab ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt. Der Vorhang ist zwar nett, bringt aber nur bedingt etwas. Der Pool liegt eigentlich immer im Schatten, als Sonnenanbeter nicht so optimal. Wer Wert auf Privatsphäre legt sollte Zimmer 2 wählen. Das frühstück konnte man täglich aussuchen und war sehr gut. Service und Personal freundlich. Lage ein Traum - Aussicht einfach nur wow. Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt vorhanden und nicht weit zu gehen. Der Gemeinschaftspool (Kaltwasser) war mit 6 liegen ausgestattet.

The property was clean and lovely. Housekeeping are fantastic and do a brilliant job everyday. The view was so amazing from outside the hotel that people would travel to watch the sunset from outside it. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved the hot tub. Amazing stay, one of the most beautiful and scenic places we’ve ever stay at!

This property is in a great location. The views are unmatched, it is quiet at night (but close walking distance to some good restaurants, etc., the staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was that our pool in the executive honeymoon suite was advertised as a "hot tub" (which we were quite excited for) but is in reality just a neutral-temperature pool. Don't expect to use it in the evening once the sun has gone down...

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit perfektem Service durch das super nette und zuvorkommende Personal! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, man merkt an kleinen Stellen dass schon viele Besucher hier waren, da es schon abgenutzt ist. Es funktioniert aber alles! The room we stayed at had sewage problems and the smell was extremely unbearable to a point where we had to sleep on the couch by the window so we can close off the doors to our bedroom and bathroom. Some of our clothes we effected so bad that we had to throw out some clothes so we don’t risk contaminating the clothes in our luggage as we were going to Mykonos as our next stay. We had multiple people look at it berbthe 2 nights and it got so bad at one night . The views were gorgeous , hospitality great, and location surreal. The sewage smell will forever be in our memories and loss of clothes we had to leave behind . If it wasn’t for the room, it would have been perfect .

This honeymoon suite was amazing! Everything was perfectly clean each day and both managers at the front desk were super nice and accommodating throughout the trip. This was the best vacation we’ve ever been on and the view we what dreams are made of.

The people who attend to the hotel are all fantastic 😊. Spotless rooms. The breakfast was superb. You order and then they deliver to your room. Very helpful and friendly. Can't say enough. Oh yeh, the view, amazing.

Lovely hotel. Amazing views. Much quieter area than being in Oia or Fira- which we found too overcrowded. Staff were wonderful: nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Hotel (inside and outside) is spotless clean and well maintained.

The room was very small as was the bathroom, but clean. There is no place to hang or put wet bath towels. There was no outer terrace. Some of our small towels felt like sandpaper. One little bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two people. Very little coffee in the continental breakfast that was limited to one cup each. A little packet of butter each morning counted as “one item” and fare was basic. It was served in the room each morning and eggs were cold. One bottle of water was provided for the duration of our three day stay. Apart from the outstanding view from a small but not private balcony (Rm 105 I gather was their smallest and furthest away from the pool that was 60 steps down), the room we were given was not 3-star and did in no way feel like my VIP gold status was acknowledged. The management said that three drinks we had by the pool were discounted from $15 each to $10. The congenial pool bartender Thanasis was the best part of this accommodation. Apart from the view, there is not much going on in Imerovigli. You need a car for Oia. Thira is a half hour walk uphill and downhill in the hot sun. And be prepared for a lot of large steps to your room with no handrails.

We were promised a room upgrade on our last night but when it was time to have it, they said someone else has reserved it. They also claimed that we damaged the bathroom counter but when asked for a picture of the damage, suddenly they said the damage was repaired while we were out. Another complain is about replenishing the toiletries. Even though housekeeping is done everyday, the supplies don’t get replenished even if they see the bottles (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) are empty.

This is what we imagine heaven feels like. What an incredible experience…the owners and staff are incredible, so accommodating and so very kind, they really went out of their way to make sure we had the most amazing stay and we are so appreciative to them for it. The room was amazing…beautiful suite with amazing showers, bedding, furniture, full kitchen. The huge private lounge area in front of the room with lounge chairs and large swim up pool/hot tub with the most incredible views of the caldera were the highlight…we spent several hours every morning in the hot tub and lounging and taking in the breathtaking views before heading out and exploring, and then again in the evening before heading to bed. We will DEFINITELY be returning, and sincerely hope we can book the same room again. Do not miss this property!!!

I stayed at Sunny Villas for my honeymoon and it was the best— i wish I was there now. The views are fantastic from the honeymoon suite and the private mini pool is a plus. I highly recommend upgrading— you will not regret it, it’s off the walking path so you have a bit more privacy!

No me pareció que el wifi de la propiedad no era bueno, dado qué la señal en la isla tampoco es muy buena y que el hotel está en Imerovigli así que para ir a Fira hay que caminar como 30 minutos y para ir a Oía hay que ir a Fira a tomar el autobús qué nuevamente te regresa hasta Fira. Al mismo tiempo, la ubicación del lugar es magnífica porque está justo enfrente de la Caldera y es una zona con mucha privacidad. Tiene unas vistas magníficas y la amabilidad del staff sobresale. Volvería a quedarme en este mismo hotel.

Warum auch immer konnten/durften/ mussten wir bei 7 Tage Aufenthalt 3x Zimmer wechseln. - ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Unsere eigentlich auch nicht aber was sollten wir tun. Gebucht hatten wir 7 Tage Honeymoon. Zu den Zimmern: 1.zimmer: Premium Suite - sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit Tisch im Außenbereich zum frühstücken. Weniger toll man liegt direkt am Fußweg der vielen Menschen, die den Sonnenuntergang sehen wollen oder nach OIA gehen. 2. Zimmer Executive honeymoon - unserer Meinung das beste Zimmer. Groß, geräumig, nicht direkt am Fußweg!sprich es geht nicht ständig jemand vorbei und klotzt rein, was wirklich nervig wird. Hier haben wir nur den Tisch zum gemütlich draußen frühstücken vermisst. 3. Zimmer: das eigentlich gebuchte. Schön, geräumig wirklich toll bis auf die vielen Menschen die klotzend vorbei gehen. Privatsphäre gleich null sofern man sich nicht im Zimmer aufhält und die Türe schließt! Bei honymoon hab ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt. Der Vorhang ist zwar nett, bringt aber nur bedingt etwas. Der Pool liegt eigentlich immer im Schatten, als Sonnenanbeter nicht so optimal. Wer Wert auf Privatsphäre legt sollte Zimmer 2 wählen. Das frühstück konnte man täglich aussuchen und war sehr gut. One thing I can say is if you are scared of heights don’t stay here your on top of a mountain. One of the best views in the whole island for the sunset. The place is clean. Rooms are different. Doesn’t have a door to the bathroom. You have privacy but you can hear everything. So if it’s your first time going away with someone wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for two nights and it was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, clean and the view was beautiful! Really nice area too!

The room was very small as was the bathroom, but clean. There is no place to hang or put wet bath towels. There was no outer terrace. Some of our small towels felt like sandpaper. One little bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two people. Very little coffee in the continental breakfast that was limited to one cup each. A little packet of butter each morning counted as “one item” and fare was basic. It was served in the room each morning and eggs were cold. One bottle of water was provided for the duration of our three day stay. Apart from the outstanding view from a small but not private balcony (Rm 105 I gather was their smallest and furthest away from the pool that was 60 steps down), the room we were given was not 3-star and did in no way feel like my VIP gold status was acknowledged. The management said that three drinks we had by the pool were discounted from $15 each to $10. The congenial pool bartender Thanasis was the best part of this accommodation. Apart from the view, there is not much going on in Imerovigli. You need a car for Oia. Thira is a half hour walk uphill and downhill in the hot sun. And be prepared for a lot of large steps to your room with no handrails.

Really enjoyed my stay there. They informed me on where to park my buggy. Also there is a gentleman there who helped me with the WiFi issue I was having and prepared me two lunches as I had to check out at 6am for a flight. Really appreciated that!!

Absolutely Amazing! The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them! We were staying with Sunny Villas for our wedding and they catered for all of our needs and went above and beyond! Our room was fantastic, just what we needed and the location of the hotel was great. Staff was absolutely amazing!! At arrival- they will meet you at the top and bring your luggage down and when you leave they bring it up. Breakfast was okay, it could’ve been better but for being included it was good. Walking distance to Fira and hiking distance to Oia!

This hotel and the hosts and porters were amazing. Everyone was so nice, friendly and professional. Everytime we needed something the host would get it done for us right away. Everything from checking in all the way to checking out was just outstanding! The room was clean, fresh, stunning with an amazing view of the Caldera. Every night we saw the sunset that's how nice the location was. I would definitely room here again and recommend it to friends and family!

I could not say enough wonderful things about our experience at Sunny Villas! Irini, Helena, and Alex were our points of contact and we wanted to take all of them home with us. They offered amazing recommendations, made us reservations and Alex even packed up a breakfast for us the night before we left since we were leaving before dawn. I’m so glad we didn’t go with an apartment, the bag carrying alone was worth the hotel fee. If you all see this please know how much Hazel and I appreciated your kindness and hospitality. We had a fantastic stay here, the staff were wonderful from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, a porter carried all of our heavy luggage down the many stairs for us. The staff at the reception desk checked us in and drew us a detailed map with bus stops, restaurants, and walking paths highlighted, it was so helpful. The location is great for catching the bus to Oia or Fira. The walking path to Fira is in front of reception, it is about a 30 min walk. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the view of the caldera was amazing. They also provide breakfast to your room every morning and it was delicious. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The hotel is in a great location that’s quieter than Fira and Oia, but still beautiful and near so many great restaurants. We loved the beautiful views from our balcony and the pool to cool off in. The hotel staff were so amazing! They went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s food allergies when providing breakfast. They also recommended restaurants, coordinated airport transfers, booked our catamaran cruise, and were so friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

We were promised a room upgrade on our last night but when it was time to have it, they said someone else has reserved it. They also claimed that we damaged the bathroom counter but when asked for a picture of the damage, suddenly they said the damage was repaired while we were out. Another complain is about replenishing the toiletries. Even though housekeeping is done everyday, the supplies don’t get replenished even if they see the bottles (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) are empty.

Hotel Sunny Villas was spectacular! What an amazing place. The breakfast is delivered to your room so you can capture every moment of the spectacular view. Imerovigli has the best views of the sunset in my opinion and no crowds watching from the fabulous balcony of your room. Ideally located in between Firá and Oia gives you access to Firá within 25 minutes on foot and 1hour 45 to Oia. You can of course take the bus which is 4 euros each way and two buses to Oia and one to Firá or rent ATV is 2 minutes away to going around.Lots of fabulous restaurants nearby and the island really comes alive at night.We will be back.

Amazing room, spectacular view. Sunset was better from the balcony than from Oia! Restaurant recommendations were on point from the staff, and the place is a 20-30 minute walk to Fira. There are a lot of stairs to the rooms though, so be prepared. Will definitely stay again if I return to Santorini

Amazing place, views are breath taking!! The town of Imerovigil is a hidden gem, not too busy, yet nice restaurants. The location of Sunny Villas is nice, small few steps down from the street. Highly recommended!

The view is amazing, great place to see the sunset. The villa was extremely nice and the staff made the stay very enjoyable helping us with everything we needed. Location is very convenient close to Skaros, Fira and Oia and to dining options and supermarket. Only thing is that there’s a public path in front of the door so we didn’t have a lot of privacy, but I believe this is a thing in almost all accommodations in Santorini. It didn’t bother us very much and overall stay was really good. Recommended!

Amazing views, excellent staff. We had a 2 bed 2 bath deluxe cave suite. It came with private balcony where breakfast was served. We enjoyed sunset views from our own pruvate space. Imerogvli is a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira. The walk trail to Fira was pleasant as Imerogvli is at a higher elevation.

We definitely had the best view on the whole island for the sunsets. Could sit there and see it all from the hot tub. There was a number of times that cleaners etc would walk in whilst we were changing so a little intrusive, breakfast was hit or miss with items changing all the time. We are vegan so possibly made it difficult. However 1 juice vs 2 juice isn’t that difficult.

Views are amazing! Breakfast is good quality, plentiful and with lots of options. I would recommend adding gluten free bread to the options for those with allergies. The staff are friendly, helpful and very hard working. Special mention to Alex and Irini for their tips and recommendations on where to eat and places to visit. We had a lovely time!

We went here for our honeymoon. The staff were extremely accomodating and friendly, treating us like family. They new us by name and it felt like they were there specifically for us. They gave us great recommendations and tips. The views were unbeatable. The rooms were extremely comfortable and private. The hot tub was always warm and cozy. We appreciated the variety of breakfast and how fresh everything tasted. It was so much food that we tended to save it for a second meal. We would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone else.

The people who attend to the hotel are all fantastic 😊. Spotless rooms. The breakfast was superb. You order and then they deliver to your room. Very helpful and friendly. Can't say enough. Oh yeh, the view, amazing.

The beds/pillows were not comfortable, there were not enough sun beds near the pool and were often taken and in full sun, breakfast was not the best. Hotel staff was friendly and available and the AC worked well in the rooms. There are many stairs to get to and from the room. Sunsets were beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Villas, we were there for 2 nights. The room was a cave in the rocky wall, very authentic! Tthe staff was very helpful, especially Helena. She helped us with local recommendations and how to find transportation. Know that there are steep steps to get to the “apartment “, this is not your average hotel room. The views are amazing. The breakfast was great, you get to order certain things from a prearranged menu. The downfall is they only start at 8:30 and they deliver it to your room, if you plan to leave earlier it may not be available. The first day we waited about an hour but in the end it worked it out ok. The location is great, walking distance to Fira with beautiful caldera views, took us about 2.5 hours to hike to Oia. Not an easy hike, but definitely worth it. Thank you Sunny Villas for having us!

Great location along with the perfect spot for the full view of sunset. A very clean, cozy room. It is cool to make your selections for breakfast and a guy will deliver it for you! Just one small warning- a lot of steps upward and downward… a nice way to burn calories! 😀

Brilliant hotel. Stayed in the Excecutive Honeymoon Suite. Exceptional views from the balcony and within walking distance of everything you need. Breakfast was a bit below expectations for the price you pay to stay at this hotel, but overall a really good experience and would come back.
