This is quite a good area to stay at. Walkable to the bts and big malls like terminal 21. And you can also wander the streets a bit and stumble onto nice eateries, massage places and peek at the nightlife district of Soi cowboy. Hotel offers a shuttle quite convenient. I didn’t do a drop off so I got confused at the pick up point and the shuttle driver was a little curt. But otherwise a comfortable stay, facilities are clean, new and sufficient. Unfortunately they couldn’t put me in a non-smoking floor, smoking floor corridors can get quite smelly but the staff places a purifier to help. I did enjoy the gym- small but clean and great equipment.

I liked the warmth of the staff at the reception and in the restaurant, especially in the morning during breakfast, everyone was very attentive. A nice hotel with a pool and gym on the 7th floor. Good public transportation nearby BTS and MTR.

Awesome property. The pool is lovely and the room is top notch - clean and modern. There was a deep bathtub and a clothes washer/dryer combo in the room that provided a lot of value to us. The staff was superb and provided lots of recommendations for dinner, transportation and sightseeing.

However, the low level of service at the reception as well as the bad breakfast and the smoking area by the pool drag the rating down a lot.

The rooms were immaculate, well-designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—conveniently close to public transport, shopping areas, and great dining options. 今回5泊1人旅快適に過ごせるました。 asok駅&Sukhumvit駅から少々距離(徒歩15分位)ありますが、inter change ビル(駅近ビル)まで送迎あるので、移動は苦になりませんでした。ホテル前にセブンイレブンあり、周辺に飲食店、マッサージ店が多くあるので、快適に過ごせました。今までgrande center point 21(Asok駅直結)を常宿にしてましたが。価格面を考慮すると次回からこのホテルに滞在しようと思います。屋上プールも僕にとってちょうど良いサイズで、快適でした。帰国時も早朝早かったですが、モーニングコール/タクシー予約もきちんとしてくれて、タクシー料金も適切価格だったので安心して任せられます。

We absolutely loved our stay here at Somerset Bangkok. It was close enough to walk to all the popular places close by and also within walking distance from the public subway stations to get wherever you needed to go that was further out in Bangkok. The room was cozy, clean, well kept and comfortable. We even were able to get our laundry done with the provided washer and dryer combo after 13-14 days of traveling. This also saved me so much time once I got home which I am grateful for. The pool is beautiful and private to only the people staying at Somerset, unlike some of the places we stayed at in Krabi. The location is across from a convenient store so if you need late night snacks, drinks, goodies you have a place to go. Our stay was also very peaceful and we had no problem with any outside noice from the city. The staff here were so sweet and helpful with check in, check out and helping with shuttles/bags. 10 out of 10 stay.

Excellent location and facilities. Small suggestion to put more hooks in the bathroom for towels, and make it possible to see when you have (accidentally) turned on the 'do not disturb' or 'please clean my room' signal. Otherwise great stay.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Easily walkable to pubs, restaurants, shopping. Nice gym with modern equipment. (Could be a little less crowded; to use the yoga mats I managed to go to the pool deck, not enough room in the gym.) Already made my reservation for my return trip next month!

Every staffs were great, especially the Concierge staffs. They provided great free shuttle service to the BTS station, and always polite and helpful. But the bath tub is old and design not good, water will make the bathroom floor wet. The water tap is also not suitable for the hand washing sink. It is too short and too close to the edge of hand washing sink.

Good location to stay, breakfast is continental style, bath facilities are horrible, really high edge bath tub and water temperature is never stable for the past three days, light lamp just above the bed, superrrrr easy to hit the head. I won’t chose to stay again

I stayed for three nights from July 24 to 27 for work. This is my third stay at this hotel. During check-in, the explanations and procedures were in English, but they spoke in a way that was easy to understand, using gestures and a slow pace, so I was able to follow along even as a Japanese person. The room was well-cleaned, and both the shower and toilet were clean as well. It was also helpful that the toilet was made in Japan and had shower functions. In other hotels, sometimes the shower hot water is hard to come by or there are leaks, but here I didn't have to worry about that. However, it was unfortunate that the glass in the shower area is small, causing the changing area and foot mat to get wet. The air conditioning was very comfortable, and the sound was quiet with no issues. They even provided detergent along with the washing machine, which allowed me to wash my underwear and undergarments. The washing machine was kept clean, and there were no unpleasant odors at all. The kitchen and cooking utensils were well-equipped and considerate for long stays. It is also convenient that it is close to a station and shopping center, and there is a convenience store just seconds away from the hotel. This is a really wonderful hotel. I would like to use it again when I stay in Bangkok next time.

My first time in Bangkok and I loved this hotel. They were very responsive when I sent a note asking for a late (2am) check in. The room was gorgeous, much better than I had expected. Breakfasts were really good. It’s within walking distance to the sky train which is really important. The man at the door was great, and he even saved me from going to the wrong airport on my depature!

I will dedicate this review to the breakfast served at the hotel and that costs 400 Baht per person. Not only are the ingredients of poor quality, but I suspect that they are picked back and forth over many days. Drinks, cereals and fruit are poorly replenished. Cheese platter with sweaty hard cheese and dry vegetables that are not fresh. It just feels so stingy overall. The staff has no drive to replenish what runs out themselves, but you have to tell them about everything. The breakfast room is crowded and shared with a café and bakery, but despite this, there is almost no bread from the bakery in the breakfast served. One morning we noticed some bread edges from a loaf lying on a plate from the bakery, but when we asked for a refill, the answer was "Don't have". There are strict big signs that nothing may be taken to eat in the room. You don't have to worry about someone wanting to bring food from breakfast. On the contrary, I saw guests bring THEIR OWN food TO breakfast. It doesn't matter how nice the hotel is if the guest gets in a bad mood every morning at breakfast. Do it right Somerset.

Clean, amazing staff, very well up-kept property - the only thing I can think of that was slightly disappointing was the variety of options at Breakfast. That said, this a 4-star hotel but very much lives up to that expectation - cleanliness and service of a top tier hotel though. Location was excellent and for what you pay there’s not much you’d be disappointed in.
