Went on New Year’s Eve for a quick get a way with our daughter. The front desk was very helpful and assured us there wouldn’t be loud partying or anything of that nature. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Fire pit was utilized by us and excellent in keeping us warm on a cold dreary day. Pool was also very clean and warm. Breakfast the following morning was also wonderful especially the cinnamon rolls!

The hotel meets all basic requitements very well and was reasonably priced. You need a car and parking is easy. The hotel condition is excellent. The service was cheerful and personal. It is time for hotels to get back to regular housekeeping without exceptions like weekends and without having to ask for it.

It is hiding behind the Holiday Inn and confused my GPS. Also, the instructions for turning off the sensor that turns off the electricity to most lights, when it detects no movement in the room, are incomplete.

We had a nice easy drive to/from Pine Knob for a concert. Nice to sit outside by the fire and enjoyed the room very much. Only complaint was we had no shower curtain but other then that is was perfect!

For a one bedroom suite, the layout was strange since the bedroom was tucked in the bedroom and had to be shared with any visitors. Also, bad smell in the suite everytime we came in. Maybe a bad cleaning product?

First I was charged 444.18 for 2 nights. After I checked into my room I was charged an additional 179.00. I spoke with the desk clerk and he said my card was charged twice by mistake. Secondly I found hairs in the bed and the sheets were stained. I requested another room and was given a room that was already occupied. The desk clerk apologized and said the hotel was booked and that someone didn't do their job. I had to keep the same room and got the sheets changed and checked out in the morning instead of staying 2 nights. So now I have money coming out my account for 3 nights instead of 1 night. I spoke with the manager Amy who said there is nothing she can do because I booked 3rd party and she apologized that my card was ran twice by her employee because it didn't show him my room was already paid for. This is Completely Unacceptable!

The property is beautiful. Very attractive for the price. I didnt have a remote to the television in the living room. So that was a downside. Me and my husband watch different things on television and we couldn't. The night attendant said he would take something off the bill but im still waiting .

THE PROBLEM WAS WITH HOTELS.COM. The problem was not with the hotel itself. I had selected a Queen Bed Suite on the site, but it came through to the hotel as only a queen bed 1 room. (There had been a different option for the room I got.) Being a light sleeper, I always get suites so there is another door to block noise from outside the room as well as noise form heating/cooling and the refrigerator. Consequently, the air conditioner kept waking me up whenever it went on. (They were fully booked and were unable to help. She said I was not the only person that weekend using a 3rd party vendor with this problem.)

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was extremely roomy, and the addition of a kitchen was great. We didn’t cook any meals but did make a lot of snacks. Jason, I believe that was his name, was extremely friendly and informative regarding anything we needed. This hotel also had a longer breakfast time than other hotels. We’ll be giving Staybridge Suites in other cities a try down the road.

Breakfast was great staff was great however the room we had number 105 was fantastic until you turned the heat on. The furnace in the room was so loud you couldn't sleep so we had to turn it off. As a result it was very cold in the room. This is our only complaint everything else was excellent.

When I checked in the guy behind the counter messed up on my reservation. I had to wait for him to fix that. One we get a room key we then go to the room. There was someone all ready in that room. Went back and he said well it marked clean and vacant. He made me feel like I should of went else where. I been coming for the last year and this was by far the worst experience.

Every staff member and the manager I met, were personable, helpful, courteous, and professional. They are a cut above many places I have stayed in my life of travels. In this day and age, where no one seems to understand the meaning of Customer Service, they were exceptional. As a sidelight, the food there is exceptional, including breakfast. If I’m in Auburn Hills again, I will stay there.

Not my first time at Staybridge. Never disappoints. Clean, friendly, great breakfast. I didn’t eat dinner which as I understand They serve every night but it looked good. Kitchen in the room is a huge plus. Very friendly and kind staff. Highly recommended.
