The hotel is conveniently located right next to Sawgrass Mall, Noise could be better, can hear doors slamming closed often. No pool or room service, so make sure you are aware of that, but great experience all together.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, which was okay. The good. Location, location, location. It can’t be beat. The entire staff we met were friendly and helpful. There was a free shuttle operating in the Sawgrass Mills area and this made it even more convenient to get to the various wings of the Mall, restaurants and other places that were within the vicinity. The bad This hotel advertised its roof as a place to relax and unwind but it is only used for events. There is no swimming pool. Breakfast is an add on. The ugly I stayed here for 4 nights. The entire time the room was never cleaned, the trash was removed, bed made up, towels changed and coffee replenished. That’s it. You have to wear slippers in the room all the time. We met an empty hair conditioner bottle and left without it ever being refilled.

The bar was a joke and not even open during day hours on weekends there was no room service the breakfast buffet wasnt really a buffet and quite misleading you have to order most items and they do not offer bacon.. sausage etc... what kind of breakfast buffet doesnt have bacon?

I normally only leave negative reviews when the poor customer service is just absolutely atrocious and this is one of those instances. I’ve stayed here at AC Hotel in Sunrise at Sawgrass Mall multiple times when up in Broward for business and was usually pretty happy overall with the accommodations and service, which is why for the 4th of July I decided to bring my family with me so that after I finished with my work obligations we could enjoy a relaxing evening on the rooftop lounge to watch the local fireworks. To my absolute shock, they closed the rooftop lounge to paying guests under the guise that “corporate” mandated it due to “inclement weather”. There was no rain, no lightning and no thunder in the area the evening in question, not to mention the fact that they were saying this all day so obviously it was pre-planned. This is an absolute error in judgment on the part of management and they couldn’t have cared less; there was a whole crowd of people that kept going to the front desk to complain and it was obviously apparent that quite a large number of guests were expecting to make use of the amenity on the one night of the year that it would absolutely be most valuable. Do you think they cared? Nope, just kept telling everyone the same obviously false story about corporate making the decision due to the mysteriously absent “inclement weather”. I have no plans on staying here ever again and I think many of the other guests from that night feel exactly the same.

Very loud property, there’s not isolation whatsoever and you can hear “everything”, I mean EVERYTHING. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, just not what you’re expecting from a hotel that is fairly new.

Rooms weren’t cleaned properly - the floor was dirty and there was dust and also food particles in the corners of the room. 4 guests were booked to the room but for some illogical reason the attendants kept putting 3 large towels and not 4. Also liquid soap/shampoo/conditioner were not topped up and empty by the end of day 2 of our 4 day stay. Toilet was clogged on night 1. It seems that a plastic fixture from the seat fell into the bowl from the previous guest who used the room. It was repaired by the plumber the next morning. The plumber was excellent.

Our stay was anything but enjoyable. When we first checked in after 6pm, we noticed a urine smell coming from the bathroom. When we lifted the toilet seat, we found the toilet to be disgustingly dirty. We went down and complained, and they sent someone up to clean it. How could the room not be ready if check in was at 4pm? Then, to go back to our room after dinner, the key card reader for the room was not working. We, again, had to go down to the front desk and request for them to fix it. They had to send someone to charge our card scanner because they did not prepare the room before we arrived. Then, when my partner went to shower, there was no soap in the dispensers, so I, again, had to go down to the front desk and request for our soap to be brought up. Yet another inconvenience. The next day, when we were leaving for lunch, a housekeeper asked if we wanted our room serviced, which we replied yes. When we came back at 3:30 pm, our room had yet to be serviced, and we had to go down again to clean it. We will not be back, and I would like compensation. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, we have grown accustomed to the standard that most Marriott hotels offer, but this one has left a terrible taste in our mouths and has tainted the image.

We stay at this property on a regular basis when we fly into town. The only thing I don’t like it is the bathroom sliding door. It is heavy and hard to push closed (it’s a glass barn door )

Staff members were welcoming from arrival until departure. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable lay out. The fact that within 3 to5 minutes i could access shopping or dining really served me well. I would go back to this property in the future and i definitely will recommend it to friends and family.

This was an excellent location for a concert we flew in for over the weekend. An easy walk to the arena and ample shopping and restaurants. The hotel room was comfortable and just the right size to include a sofa and long credenza to spread out two suitcases and shopping bags. A great stay!

One person at checkin was not enough. We had a periodic noise coming from the AC blower in our room that happened every 1 1/2 hours. Called maintenance, they couldn’t find anything, and left, telling me that they would come back and check on it. We went out for the evening to concert, came back, and listened to this thing go off for about 5 minutes 5 times that night. Food on buffet was not replenished and some trays practically empty.

The room was a good size and comfortable, modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the sound proofing wasn’t great and so we could hear a lot of noise from the room above us but not the rooms adjacent.

Extremely happy when we arrived about 11am, there was no hesitation at all about getting us checked in. Upon checking in, we were advised about the arena, which we were there for a concert. They gave us a map of the outlet mall and parking paper for the dash for valet areas.

Convenience of sharing the lot with Sawgrass Mills Mall. Room was nice & contemporary. For a very, very, pricey stay, some sort of breakfast should have been complimentary, fruit, or yogurt, or croissant, or pastry, sm box cereal, or cookie, or bottled water...you're already saving on no pool maintenence fees, & electricity from no room microwave, your $20 breakfast....bit surprising for your caliber

Overall stay was good. Three minor things: 1. They were noisy kids staying next door who were up early hours of the morning 2. They were some stains in the hallway carpets 3. The breakfast menu was not clear on the cost and staff interpretation varied

This hotel does not offer lunch or dinner. The room did not have a microwave oven which would be highly appreciated. They offer only breakfast which is excellent. Taking this into account the hotel room price is too expensive: 300$!!!
