A weeks holiday in Glastonbury, with plenty to see and do. Amazing scenery and places to visit. The B & B was homely and the host welcoming and informative, nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was clean with amenities that met our needs. Breakfast was catered to from what we would would normally eat to a full English breakfast and served at a time that was suitable to us. As this was a room in a private home, the area was very quiet and the dining room looked across to the Mendips. Off road parking was provided and it was approximately a 10 minute walk in to Glastonbury.

Everything was perfect.......The host David was friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He was also a great cook and we enjoyed a beautiful Full English breakfast. Other options are available and David caters to dietary needs. The parking is easy near the property and the property itself is a short walk away from the town where there are multiple places to eat/ shop. The property was very clean and comfortable, the area was very quiet. David was a wonderful host and I would highly recommend his property to anyone thinking of staying there.

Initial view of the property was disappointing due to the front exterior being cluttered with building items which were dismissed by the host as 'it's just a bag of sand' which was actually a builders merchants crane delivered large bag of sand which sat upon a wooden pallet which had a blue tarp which covered slabs/bricks? Also, the parking was difficult to access due to a wheelbarrow being left on the driveway which was leant up against slabs and what looked like RSJs or scaffold poles. Minimal thought and effort was put into the ease of guests arriving and parking their vehicle. When I knocked on the door of the property I was greeted with a silent host and I instigated conversation. I assume the silent greeting was due to my comment when trying to find the property I had phoned and said 'is your house the one with all the building stuff outside?' which was when I received the 'it's just a bag of sand' comment. As for the room I stayed in it was clean and warm. The TV is on the wrong wall and should be on the wall opposite the headboard of the bed (where the oddly placed pictures are) and one small hand towel and one small towel is a very frugal allowance for a guest. The hook on the back of the door is off centre and wonky. I will not be returning to this property and do not recommend it.

I stayed at David's house for one night which is one of the charming B&Bs in Glastonbury and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. David was incredibly warm and hospitable. The room was spotlessly clean, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The location couldn't be better which is 10-15 minutes walk to the High Street and super convenient for exploring the town, the Tor and nearby attractions. David's Homemade breakfasts were delicious and he went out of his way to accommodate my vegetarian diet that made my morning a highlight. Highly recommend for a cozy, welcoming stay.

My stay at Glastonbury B&B was very pleasant. The house is in walking distance from the lovely town Glastonbury. The bedroom was very nice, sunny and cozy, and clean and so was the bathroom. In the room there was coffee, different kinds of tea, biscuit and a bottle of drinking water, which I appreciated. David is a very friendly host and made me feel welcomed. He even offered to drive me to the nearest train station, so I could travel onwards in the morning. Thank you very much, David!

We stayed for one night with David. The room was light very clean and in excellent condition. We had a dedicated bathroom (modern and clean) along the hall. Be aware that this is B&B in a domestic house, which feels a little odd if not expected - but the room has a locking door, and is perfectly kitted out (inc. wifi, tv, kettle and beautifully presented drinks options). The B&B gets FIVE STARS for breakfast alone. Served downstairs in the dining room, David cooks the best fry up that I've had in a long time. Thank you.

David was a very welcoming, and friendly host - he couldn't do enough for us. The room and property was spotlessly clean, and in a great location - only a ten minute walk into Glastonbury. We both enjoyed a full English breakfast, cooked to order. We were also given the option of continental too if we wanted that. This B & B was very nice. We only needed to stay for 1 night. The host was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The cat (Finnegan) was very affectionate, too, bless him! We had our own bathroom, as advertised, & this is on the landing, not in the room itself. Just for info, really. Bed comfy. Nice sized wardrobe, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer etc. The shower was lovely. Personally, I would prefer a bigger towel to dry my hair, rather than a guest towel & a larger bath one. The breakfast was delicious. A Full English x 2 (1 veggie). Cereal & toast available. David couldn’t have done more for us, really. It was nice to chat with him. This property is convenient to the High Street & we walked it in 10-15 minutes. We thoroughly recommend (as did David) award-winning Knights Fish & Chip shop. We ate in their restaurant. Lots of choice. First time we’ve been to Glastonbury. Would definitely return to this B & B & the area.

Nice and quiet room, in a residential property. Comfy bed, very clean room. No en-suite bathroom but private non communal bathroom is provided, and bath robes for the short trip across the landing if needed. This is David's home but we were made to feel welcome and shown everything we needed. Short walk into town and the best breakfast I've had in ages. Could do with a better shower head as the spray was a bit underwhelming.

Dave was a fantastic host who not only gave us a warm welcome on arrival but was always on hand to support us during our stay. Room facilities were excellent, very comfortable bed and private bathroom. Dave served us the finest breakfasts and the accommodation was only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Great stay and recommended!

A.B&B was a wonderful place to stay. I did not feel like I was staying in a B&B. It was very much home from home feel. David catared to all my needs. Breakfasts were delicious as it was tailered to what I liked. The room its self was cosy with a very comfy bed. David himself was a nice guy, I enjoyed chatting with him. I will defiently be booking this place again for future weekend trips to Glastonbury.

Perfectly pleasant stay - great location to walk wherever you need to go in Glastonbury. Also easy bus stop just up the street to take you in or out of town. David is friendly and welcoming and easily accommodated my gluten allergy. Really enjoyed chatting about all things at breakfast (which was filling and delicious.) Thanks!

Initial view of the property was disappointing due to the front exterior being cluttered with building items which were dismissed by the host as 'it's just a bag of sand' which was actually a builders merchants crane delivered large bag of sand which sat upon a wooden pallet which had a blue tarp which covered slabs/bricks? Also, the parking was difficult to access due to a wheelbarrow being left on the driveway which was leant up against slabs and what looked like RSJs or scaffold poles. Minimal thought and effort was put into the ease of guests arriving and parking their vehicle. When I knocked on the door of the property I was greeted with a silent host and I instigated conversation. I assume the silent greeting was due to my comment when trying to find the property I had phoned and said 'is your house the one with all the building stuff outside?' which was when I received the 'it's just a bag of sand' comment. As for the room I stayed in it was clean and warm. The TV is on the wrong wall and should be on the wall opposite the headboard of the bed (where the oddly placed pictures are) and one small hand towel and one small towel is a very frugal allowance for a guest. The hook on the back of the door is off centre and wonky. I will not be returning to this property and do not recommend it.

David was a very welcoming, and friendly host - he couldn't do enough for us. The room and property was spotlessly clean, and in a great location - only a ten minute walk into Glastonbury. We both enjoyed a full English breakfast, cooked to order. We were also given the option of continental too if we wanted that. I stayed at David's house for one night which is one of the charming B&Bs in Glastonbury and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. David was incredibly warm and hospitable. The room was spotlessly clean, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The location couldn't be better which is 10-15 minutes walk to the High Street and super convenient for exploring the town, the Tor and nearby attractions. David's Homemade breakfasts were delicious and he went out of his way to accommodate my vegetarian diet that made my morning a highlight. Highly recommend for a cozy, welcoming stay.

My stay at Glastonbury B&B was very pleasant. The house is in walking distance from the lovely town Glastonbury. The bedroom was very nice, sunny and cozy, and clean and so was the bathroom. In the room there was coffee, different kinds of tea, biscuit and a bottle of drinking water, which I appreciated. David is a very friendly host and made me feel welcomed. He even offered to drive me to the nearest train station, so I could travel onwards in the morning. Thank you very much, David!

Property was easy to find, included parking and I had a lovely welcome by David, the host. Exactly what I was looking for and all I required, a bed with breakfast, which was superb by the way. I had a full English. Everything was spotlessly clean, towels supplied, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Was a pleasant walk into Glastonbury. I will definitely book again when I next want to stay in Glastonbury.

This B & B was very nice. We only needed to stay for 1 night. The host was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The cat (Finnegan) was very affectionate, too, bless him! We had our own bathroom, as advertised, & this is on the landing, not in the room itself. Just for info, really. Bed comfy. Nice sized wardrobe, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer etc. The shower was lovely. Personally, I would prefer a bigger towel to dry my hair, rather than a guest towel & a larger bath one. The breakfast was delicious. A Full English x 2 (1 veggie). Cereal & toast available. David couldn’t have done more for us, really. It was nice to chat with him. This property is convenient to the High Street & we walked it in 10-15 minutes. We thoroughly recommend (as did David) award-winning Knights Fish & Chip shop. We ate in their restaurant. Lots of choice. First time we’ve been to Glastonbury. Would definitely return to this B & B & the area.

A.B&B was a wonderful place to stay. I did not feel like I was staying in a B&B. It was very much home from home feel. David catared to all my needs. Breakfasts were delicious as it was tailered to what I liked. The room its self was cosy with a very comfy bed. David himself was a nice guy, I enjoyed chatting with him. I will defiently be booking this place again for future weekend trips to Glastonbury.

This is a very good b&b location and parking 👍. Room contains all you would need and goes that bit extra not expected ie. bath robes every thing to drink. The bathroom was not on suite but across the landing, it is private so no complaints. Thank you David for a lovely stay and of course a top breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at David’s B&B. The room is lovely, the house is well located with a beautiful garden and David went over and beyond to prepare lovely breakfasts and be very accommodating. I would definitely come back here for my next Glastonbury visit.
