They tried. Place is just old. Not a lot of choices around. At least they had vacancies. Rough area for sure.

The property was barely ok enough for the one night that we stayed there. If we weren't absolutely dead tired we would have left and gone somewhere else. The carpet and walls were dirty. The beds were not very comfortable. The property was unkempt. The breakfast the next morning was not good. The milk in the containers did not taste fresh. It was very disappointing. The owners were friendly and polite. That was probably the only positive about staying here. Will avoid in the future if back down in Stuttgart for duck hunting.

Room was not ready 2 hrs after check in time. The heat in the room was broken so they put a space heater in there but didn’t turn it on, room was 50 degrees, took hrs to warm up. In room coffee maker broken. The walkway for second floor rooms was covered in ice. There was a water leak somewhere so carpet was soaked in front of counter. The lobby was always locked so you couldn’t get in for ice or anything (all rooms open up outside).

The facility is in need of rehab. The Entrance Lobby has an odor that is extremely terrible. My room was clean but had a musty/mole odor that I couldn't get rid of with 4 different types of Fabreeze and air fresheners. Whole facility is runned down!

My daughter and I were in the area for a family reunion. Overall, the stay was fine. I was told that the hotel was under some renovations at the time of our visit. So, there was only coffee and oatmeal options because of this. The beds were fine. While the room was OK, it could use some updates (light over the bathroom sink was flickering among other things). Plus, there was slight opening under the door (I had to put a towel along the base of the door to make sure bugs did not go through there at night). My TV did not have a signal on the 1st night, but the staff took care of it (so it was working on the 2nd night).

For $100/ night PLEASE find somewhere else to stay. This was my 2nd time staying here and was also my LAST! Everything was wrong with our stay and neither the guy working overnight or their new manager seemed to care at all. The thing that irritated me the most was the utter disrespect and attitude that my elderly, disabled mother was given. She went for breakfast, which there was basically nothing and what there was, was expired, and had to make a 2nd trip to get another glass of milk because she spilled one trying to get the broken door to open. Upon this second trip, she was told, "it's after 9 you know". She did get the milk but definitely not the point and when i bright this to the managers attention, his response too was but she got the milk. Room was filthy, toilet badly leaked all over the floor, half the lights didn't work, no ice in ice machine and then staff mad when tried to use not knowing it was broken too. I will be filling formal complaints in the coming days as it was very unsafe and unfriendly environment for elderly and disabled. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!

We had booked a room for 5 people and they made us take another room. She was trying to charge us for three people instead for two. We already paid for 5. She was not very nice about it either. Very disappointing experience. There wasn’t even a hotel lobby. They made us talk through a window. We could see a big room but were not allowed in. They wanted a $50 security deposit also.

Pool is under construction, no downstairs rooms available.

The first room we had was full of ants,so they gave me another room we found a bed bug crawling in the bed so he moved me again never go there again

The property is old and you can smell the mold. I paid over $100 for a room. The sheets weren't clean, pillow cases were dirty. There is visible water damage on the walls and wooden furniture. The air conditioner did not work properly, it was extremely hot in the middle of the night. This place should be shut down until completely renovated correctly. Its a mess.

I do not recommend this property to any woman traveling alone. I paid for two days and left without a refund because I didn’t feel safe to stay the second night. I had Expedia contact the management about my concerns. The management refused to allow me a refund for the second night nor to pay a reasonable cancelation fee for the second night.
