We did a six week trip all over Europe and stayed at a lot of different Hotels. This marvel of a sanctuary was the best we stayed at. The tranquil courtyard, the evening musician, the service, the healthy breakfast with fresh fruits were all top class. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Actually I would move in and never leave if they let me. This hotel might be small and has no pool but makes up for that by its fantastic charm and the way they treat you here. Would recommend 1000% On the day of our departure we had a late train out of Seville and wanted to spend the last hour in their courtyard with a bottle of Champagne. We were informed that they were out of the one we wanted, but they had dispatched someone to a local restaurant to secure one just for us. This is the level of service you get at this place. They truly make you feel special. We were in Paris before coming to Seville and the morning Croissants here were devine. Better than the ones we had in Paris and that is a very high bar indeed. The room was lovingly decorated, the bathroom had a real shower with great water pressure. Not one of those step into a tub and we mounted the sprayer up high so pretend it is a shower as you flood the room like you find a lot of times in Europe. The air conditioning kept the room very comfortable for a great night sleep. Up top they have a great rooftop with lounges great in the evening for star gazing.

Absolutely superb hotel. Outstanding friendly helpful staff. Beautiful old building in small side street. Bed, bedroom and shower room all of very high standard and kept spotlessly clean on daily basis. Lovely views from roof terrace. A small pool would have been welcome - it was high 30s touching 40 degrees when we were there!

Beautiful hotel in center Sevilla. The hotel is a beautifully renovated old house. The architecture is a gem and you will enjoy the quiet patio in the middle of the hotel which is a haven of rest in a buzzing city. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are beautiful. The rooftop has a great view on the cathedral. Highly recommended!

It is a stunning property with a lovely rooftop area to enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. Our room was very comfortable but the courtyard makes you feel like you are in another world!

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Casa del Poeta during my visit to Seville. I must say that my stay was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I encountered a series of problems that significantly affected my overall impression of the hotel. Firstly, there were serious issues with the bathroom facilities. The shower in my room flooded into the bathroom, causing a major inconvenience and making the space unusable. I even have video evidence of this, but the hotel staff showed little interest in addressing the problem or providing any assistance. Furthermore, the air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly. Despite informing the hotel staff multiple times, they failed to resolve the issue, leaving me in discomfort throughout my stay. It is disappointing that such a basic amenity was not properly maintained. To add to the list of grievances, my room was infested with ants. They were crawling all over the place, which not only posed a hygiene concern but also made it difficult for me to relax and enjoy my time in the room. What frustrated me the most was the hotel staff's dismissive attitude towards my concerns. Despite my efforts to show them the video evidence of the flooded bathroom, they refused to listen or take any action. We stayed in one of the apartments, which we loved. Spacious. Kitchen had utensils, dishes, dishwasher, coffee and hot water pots, and toaster. Laundry area included washer and dryer, soap, drying racks and iron. Large main bedroom had ample closets and a bathroom with double sinks. Second bedroom had access to a second full bathroom. Living room had windows overlooking street which we enjoyed while drinking coffee yet included soundproof doors for nighttime. The staff was extremely courteous and responsive to our every need. Having amenities, staff and housekeeping from the hotel was so much better than the usual short term apartment rental. Taxi stand just outside front door but location was within easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, shopping (including a grocery storej, Flamenco shows and various tourist sites. We would definitely stay here again!

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful, its a beautiful building and a real treat to stay in something so historic, everything was cleaned to a very high standard so no complaints, the beds could do with a nice topper on them and pillows could be a better quality but I am being picky, would I stay here again absolutely yes and it was our second time staying so there maybe even a third stay, thank you to all the staff.

Extremely helpful and professional staff. I wasn't able to book travel through renfe's own app because of application errors and the lady at the front desk did that for me with a lot of patience as it required filling a lot of fields. Overall a well kept property, spacious rooms and super comfortable beds. The location is very convenient with great dining places and major attractions within minutes of walk.

AVOID TERRIBLE ROOM, we stayed in the three person family room even though we were just two. The room was like a dark cave with close to no natural light. The lighting and decor were very cold. It is the only room on the ground floor. The window looks out on a shady courtyard where staff and visitors are constantly passing,. All in all a highly unpleasant experience.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the city, yet rather private as hidden in a cul-de-sac. A beautifully restored house with central atrium, lovely room, friendly and helpful staff. Everything perf3ect other than the fact we were staying in room No.1, which is right by the entrance and reception, so quite noisy. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay there.

GORGEOUS hotel. We absolutely loved this property. Very nice welcome drink when you get there. It smells amazing inside. The location cannot be beat. Worth the price. Everything about this hotel was amazing! From being greeted to sitting down and having a cocktail while listening to a guitarist play during the check-in process set the bar extremely high our room was the family room, extremely spacious and comfortable!

My wife and I greatly appreciated charm of the hotel, its central location. and It’s staff. Felipe, Bernardo and the intern rosalie went out of their way to be of assistance to us. We stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay longer.

I wasn't able to book travel through renfe's own app because of application errors and the lady at the front desk did that for me with a lot of patience as it required filling a lot of fields. Overall a well kept property, spacious rooms and super comfortable beds. The location is very convenient with great dining places and major attractions within minutes of walk.

Wish i could add more stars. Beautiful hotel well located but is hard to find from cab drop off, so definitely need to take advantage of hotel booking for private service to pickup or drop off. Rocio was amazingly responsive and helpful in arranging anything we needed from terrific flamenco tickets to restaurant reservations. I felt like she was my own personal assistant. It was a wonderfully pampered experience and well worth indulging!

Central location, tons of restaurants and stores within 5mins walk, cathedral and palace are both close by too. The Spanish plaza is also within walking distance. The decoration of the hotel and room is stylish and make us feel like living in a casa. The front desk lady has been very friendly and extremely helpful in terms of parking in old town.

We had a great stay for 4 days at this hotel. It is smack in the middle and it has one of the most beautiful patio andalus we have seen. This stay gets 5 stars, however it is a little minus as the breakfast of the hotel service was chaotic and inconistent. The waiters did not seem to have much experience. Some days you woukd get juice and fruit other days not. All in all a great stay and we woukd definitely come back here. The concert at 1900 each evening was a great experience. We tried the concelierges restaurant recommendation and it turned out to be one of the best food experiences in Sevilla!

This was the most breathtaking hotel we've stayed at so far in our trip through Spain. The staff was welcoming and exceptional in their customer service. This is a unique boutique hotel (elegant historic Spanish with antiques, plants terraces and atrium) in the middle of the central walking Medina "passage-ways" areas of Seville. The rooms however are refurbished in classical style. They serve an excellent breakfast and room service and bar but the family owners also own very nearby a highly quality tapas bar and Mediterranean restaurant. The staff are great and work together like a family. Well worth a visit

Not your standard chain hotel - very personal. It is close to sites in historic area. Difficult parking, but hotel did all of the parking for us and picked up luggage. Restaurant inside hotel had a great selection for breakfast. Staff helped with tickets to see sites, and helped with reservations and restaurant recommendations. Service was great.
