Disgusting smelled like a dirty ash tray, carpet stained and burnt, holes in walls. Outside security doors did not lock. Will never stay here again. Sad that the Marriott name is attached to this hotel.

First room the outer door handle was broken. Management opened the door, the smell inside the room was terrible. Second room looked cleaner, however we opened the refrigerator and old food inside had a horrendous smell. Went to front desk and asked for a refund. Went to a different motel. Must say the manager was very apologetic and seemed sincere. Hopefully we'll get a refund for the bad two rooms.

Falta demasiado mantenimiento. La puerta lateral para entrar a las habitaciones no servia. Pusieron una piedra para tener acceso. La chapa de la habitacion no servia y esperamos como 1 hora a que abrieran la habitacion. Tuvimos que dormir con la puerta abierta porque como no abria, pues tampoco cerraba ya. La alfombra olia a orina de perro. Las sillas estaban demasiado sucias y con manchas. Lavamos ropa pero la secadora no funcionaba. Pedimos hablar con la gerente y solo nos dijeron que se llamaba Jennifer y que ella se comunicaría con nosotros y jamas lo hizo. El desayuno a medias porque nos comentaron que no habian llegado los insumos.

Lobby has been updated but not the rooms or carpeting in halls or stairs. Breakfast was very limited in variety. Requested on booking a first floor room for accessibility problems and pet but when arrived there was no first floor room and no elevator so had to use stairs. Staff that checked us in was very nice and apologized and offered to help to bring in luggage. This hotel definitely needs updating. Probably would not recommend this hotel.

This motel had duct tape on the back door lock, a hole in the door where the old deadbolt was (and where a crowbar could easily smash in) and the carpet was truly disgusting. The bedsheet had what I hope was a softener stain…. I overheard them tell a poor single mom with son in town for a soccer tourney, whose bathroom had an inch of water on floor and ceiling leaking, they would have to wait until the morning for maintenance to be called. And no refund. The desk clerk said, “I can give you 6 towels?” We left after one sleepless night and not using the shower. Still had to pay for second night.

When we got there there key card system was down so Everytime you wanted to leave your room and get back in you had to find a staff member to let you back in your room or was told to just leave the latch between the door. Sit was a big incovience

Stayed at Super 8 in Missoula the night before. It was very good in all areas. By comparison, this one in Gillette was a dump. Dirty, run down, lots of things didn’t work, check in staff was mediocre, breakfast choices were minimal and didn’t even have any milk for the dry cereal that was available and staff attitude was oh well.

Room was dirty. Broken cookies under the table between the beds, under the beds gross, bathroom dirty. Hole in the wall behind the door when you walk into the room, hole in the shower wall, smelled moldy. Told the front desk and was told the next morning this was a room that was supposed to be down and no one staying in it. Very very very unhappy. Will never stay here when traveling again.

DIRTY!!! Had to switch rooms more than once because everything was filthy. A/C didn’t work, window didn’t have a screen. Ended out sleeping in the car in the parking lot. Towels dirty, bedding dirty, everything filthy. Went back in to check out breakfast, also disgusting. Just left, complete waste of money.

It was so smelly and grossly dirty we couldn’t even stay there. Smelled of urine and smoke throughout the entire place. We checked right out as no way we would be able to sleep in that rat hole. Are awaiting a refund but doubtful we will get one. We booked at another hotel for the night.

Immediately upon arrival, i was informed there was no hot water which i didnt think too much of. The first thing i noticed as i walked to my room was the lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel. One of the rooms also had a busted keypad and the hallway was stained and had debris everywhere. As i entered my room, I was immediately overcome with the strong stench of animal urine. I found a stain and noticed that the carpet had debris. I requested a different room because I had just had a long drive and needed rest. The person who helped me told me he knew about the smell and still placed me in that room. The second room I was placed in had a dirty toilet, bathtub, and debris everywhere on the carpet. I requested a refund and immediately checked out. Most horrible hotel experience I've ever had. Do not stay here.

The bed and pillows we’re comfortable… The staff was super friendly/helpful. However, the property itself was in disrepair. Torn carpets could cause someone to trip. Blow dryer was taped with masking tape to wall mount and did not work. Bathroom faucet wiggled. Breakfast was minimalist, toaster did work. Door handle/lock was mounted but a large open hole above locket. Very dated hotel. The staff was super nice though.

The location was great. However, this hotel needs some serious repairs and updating. Stairway carpets have tears and are worn out very badly. The bathrooms were clean, but just very old. It's also loud. You can hear doors slamming, dogs barking, and people walking down the hallways during the nights.

Works for a night to sleep. Our operator button on our phone in the room didn’t work so we had to call the front desk from our cell. Had to go get our roll away ourselves. Internet signal is too weak to connect to it.

I had been given a rate of $45 and some odd change. When the owner arrived the next morning he was furious and called my room to inform me that I needed to come to the front desk ASAP to change the rate to $75/night instead. A few weeks after this stay as I was going through my credit card statement it was brought to my knowledge that while I was in a completely different state my card was charged for another night at $71.30 as well as $8. No one has access to my card and luckily I was able to dispute both fraudulent transactions. I recommend staying at a hotel not owned by the Kahn family. The only issue was with the owner Omar, all other staff were pleasant to deal with.

The clerk gave an occupied room out first. Opened the door and there was customer stuff all over the room. Closed the door right away. Lucky to not have been greeted by an angry person. Toilet valve ran on. Lid was on the floor.

1 1/2 hour to just check in. T.V. didn't work. Phone to call frot desk to report the problem didn't work. I walked to front desk to report problems and was just told "Sorry." Tried to pay cash for room with a credit card as backup in case we trashed the room, (we didn't) and was told that I had to pay and extra $400 cash or just pay it all on my credit card. They evidently didn't have a way to pay for room in cash and use card as backup. The person managing front desk was gery rude and definitely unhelpful. Was told it was the owners daughter. Have had great experiences with other Super 8's-- HATS OFF TO YOU IN CODY WYOMING!!-- yet would never tell anyone to spend their money in Gillette!

Upon arrival the day shift employee stated to me that I had to be NOT from Wyoming. The “original” room was not working the sink was leaking all over the floor in the bathroom & the bathroom fan was not working. Secondly, the same day shift gal was very unhelpful, thirdly they were doing construction when all I needed was some solid sleep as I was extremely sick. Lastly, the night shift employee was AMAZING!! Kudos to her!! She was the only reason we ended up staying an extended night. I understand remodeling as they were however after 8:00 pm and before 7:00 am was completely unexpected. I do want to recognize Cherise she was so dang kind. Personally, she literally took amazing care of us.

The Super 8 in Gillette was a convenient and affordable place to stay. The room and bed were comfortable. -- Please note: The motel offers a very basic breakfast, including two choices of cereal, waffles, bagels & muffins, scrambled eggs with bacon/sausage. If you want eggs and sausage/bacon you must show up at the beginning of breakfast. They have a quota on how much they put out for guests. If you arrive after the insufficient quota is met, you are out of luck. The motel should advertise this policy or increase the quota to accommodate guests who come to breakfast later in the service window.

Hotel was fine. It was clean and staff was friendly. We were happy to be told breakfast would consist of eggs, sausage and waffles. Next morning about 7:30 we were disappointed to be told they were out of eggs and there was no sausage. There was still bagels, toast, waffles and cereal. We stayed here two years ago and there was a similar problem with lack of food. Otherwise everything else was fine.

We went down for breakfast at 7:30 am and there was nothing left. No milk, nothing in the hot food containers (eggs and ?), no bread or muffins left. Let the person at the desk know and she shrugged her shoulders and said oh. Did not offer to remedy the situation. There was no breakfast left.
