The property was located in convenient walking location to stores and restaurants with a great view. You could rent bikes. Or a slip for your boat. The nearest beach is about 2 miles away. The breakfast was nice-continental. The area is pricey even in April when we visited, this hotel was reasonable. We would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room (303) was clean and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The only downside is that there is no passenger elevator to upper floors, although there is a luggage lift. We would definitely stay there again. .

We had a 2nd floor room with a kitchenette & balcony with a beautiful view. The room was clean, well-maintained & nicely appointed. We rented a golf cart directly from the hotel & the pricing was comparative to the local rental businesses & more convenient so that was a plus. And the check-in was easy & staff friendly. We would definitely recommend & stay again. The only downsides were the 3-story property did not have an elevator (but did have a luggage lift that we used) but the booking info. relayed that so it was no surprise to us .... but should be considered for people who need/desire an elevator. The sole reason for only 4 stars was there were no blackout curtains but blinds that did not sufficiently shade the bright, morning sun. We get up at very early on work days so on vacation we like to sleep in & a dark room would have been great. Bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in later than the sunrise.

Cute hotel on the harbor. Within walking distance to everything (it’s is an island after all). You can rent cold carts and bikes if you’re not interested in walking. The front desk check-in was awesome. She provided us with a map and highlighted all the restaurants currently open that day. Cute stay! Thank you.

This is an excellent inn. The room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of the harbor. The rooms are on 3 floors and there is no elevator. However, there is a luggage lift that saves you from lugging your bags up the stairs. We walked from the inn to the lighthouse and around the town and harbor.

Located on the waterfront of the Silver Lake harbor with beautiful views from the windows. We were able to launch our SUP boards right off their dock. Walkable to restaurants, stores and sites - and not far from the beach. Yeah, nice place.

This is a beautifully maintained property with a stellar view!! Our room was sparkling clean and had a private balcony with a gorgeous view of Silver Lake harbor and a stunning sunset every evening. We rented bikes here, as well, and they were in excellent condition. Continental breakfast was very good each morning, and you can eat it on the deck at the harbor. Do yourself a favor and stay at this lovingly-maintained, quaint beach inn on Ocracoke.

Fantastic stay at the Ocracoke Harbor Inn. We lucked out and got Suite 401. What a treat. One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. The view of the lake was amazing. All in all a terrific stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved the cleanliness, comfort, decor and private front deck for sitting and viewing the harbor. Towels were white and clean and bed was comfortable. ONLY concern was strong fragrance that seemed to come from the AC, but they found a box fan which helped exhaust it. We were able to sleep ok with the fan going and the window open.

Very nice property and staff. We stayed in room 104 which is directly above the office. The view from our room above the office was right on the water. The suite was new and clean. We had a sweeping view of the harbor and the ferry terminal. Lots of animal life in the harbor water. The shower stall is not suitable for a large individual. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. The only issue we had was the internet service in the room. It kept cutting out. However, stepping out on the deck solved the issue. Therefore, there was something blocking the signal inside the room. And there's no way the staff could know about it unless one were to spend a night. An inexpensive solution would be to install an extender inside the room or directly below. The Inn was the perfect place for our last night on the Outer Banks. We only wish we could have stayed another night.

The staff went above and beyond. We extended our stay at the last moment which required moving to another room. All we had to do was have our belongings packed, sitting by the door and the staff moved our things into our new room while we enjoyed exploring the island. We came back to our new room with all our things waiting on us.

We had a very brief stay. We came in after 9pm and left at 630am the next morning. I called the night of check in to let them know we would be late and they were very accommodating. I really appreciate the freezer part of the mini fridge. In the morning I simply put the key in the drop box. The only thing that would make it better is if they started breakfast earlier than 745, or had some grab and go options available. We were catching the 730 am ferry which we had to arrive at 7. Nothing is open that early, luckily we had snacks, but we were not fully prepared for the early pm closures and late openings of businesses.

We stayed for 3days and found the Inn very comfortable. It was spotless, nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and efficient and the ability to rent a cart there was great. The continental breakfast was a plus. The only addition I would add is a hand towel rack in the sink area.

The building was nice. The view from our room was beautiful we were in the harbor area. Breakfast was ok the cereal was generic because the selection they had i eat at home and you could tell it wasnt a good brand and what you pay for the room you would think they would have better cereal
