This property has the most beautiful park and bird trail just behind it, the river is serene and the paths we'll shaded with many benches. Perfect for a relaxing day. Steps away from my clean room. It's a pet friendly environment.

The hotel is in poor condition. We had a twin queen beds that was pet friendly. The hall carpet was terribly stained and it didn't appear to have been cleaned in a while. There were roaches in the hallway amidst other insects. The carpet in our room was extremely stained, the bath tub had mold growing. We went for breakfast at 6:30AM and the food was cold. I will never stay at this property again.

Love this little town and staying at the Hampton. This is our second visit. The location is perfect and the fact that it backs up to a gorgeous riverfront park is awesome. Great place to stay with our pups!

Room was very clean and in great condition. Bed was very comfortable. Nice TV in the room with many channels to select from. Decent exercise room downstairs with treadmills, exercise bikes, weight machine, dumbbells. Only downside was that my wife asked to have our room clean while we were out and it didn't happen.

I like the fact that the hotel was nice, nicely kept, friendly staff, wonderful warm breakfast set up and swimming pool. The staff was very pleasantly nice and down to earth with southern hospitality. Nice and spacious rooms and bathrooms also. Checkout time was very reasonable as well for those of us who like to sleep in. ~Elaine

Imani was an amazing service provider when we arrived for check in. The rooms smelled like mildew and we killed 3 roaches in our room so someone should spray and take cate or th3 smell. Other than that it was a great stay. Breakfast was amazing an ON TIME!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I have never left a bad review at a Hampton Inn before (and we travel A LOT) but this Hampton Inn was the dirtiest and most outdated that I’ve ever stayed in. Honestly, I read the reviews before deciding to stay here, and I wonder if they made their employees go on here to give a good review. It’s not at all what I expected by reading those reviews. We had to switch rooms right when we got there because there were so many lady bugs and stink bugs in the room. The room was very dirty and very outdated. The lady at the front desk was extremely sweet, helpful and accommodating to allow us to switch rooms. We appreciated that. If we didn’t check into the hotel so late we would have just left. The room we moved too was better, it was a little more clean with no stink bugs or lady bugs inside the room, but there were still stink bugs in the hallway. I realize nature will find a way in if they want in but an inspection should always be done in every room before assigning the room at check in. Not many people want bugs flying at your face when you just want to sleep! If flying bugs aren’t an issue for you or if you don’t mind things dirty, by all means give it a try. It was a very safe area and that means a lot. We love the HH Honors - Hilton Family of Hotels and will continue staying with them but they need to take a serious look at the one in Wetumpka, Alabama, it is NOT up to the Hilton standard!

The room I finally stayed in was clean. The first room we went in, the bed was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. We were given another room and the manager was very apologetic. The hallway carpet was very dirty. I expected more from a Hilton Hotel.

the bed sheets were dirty, clearly they weren’t changed at all. there were yellow stains on in the wall, the headboard of the bed was ripped. the chairs all had stains. the only clean area was the bathroom.

I would stay there again, but it could definitely be cleaner. They had some teenage boy coming around cleaning and you know he’s not doing the best job in the world. I mean he’s obviously trying but teenage boys aren’t usually cleaners. You could tell in our bathroom a lot of places that were missed and they didn’t even change out the toilet paper. They gave us the roll from the people before us and just made a triangle on it.

Holy smoke, we loved the breakfast. We ate like kings. You guys did an amazing job of having plenty of food out there - scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, belgian waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, multiple kinds of coffee. Coffee available throughout the day. Your staff was WAY on top of the food. I think the hard-boiled eggs could have been easier to peel, but breakfast was still a 99/100. Staff was very friendly and gave us what we needed. TV was huge. I wish it were easier to figure out what channel (and program we were watching) instead of going to channel 48, which would scroll slowly with listings. Area was very safe. Your location could not be more ideal. We walked into downtown Wetumpka every day to eat. Never had to drive the car there. You guys should have some kind of cute cartoon map of downtown Wetumpka and all of the eateries and bars, like the hotdog place and the soda shop and the clothing stores. Amazing.

I booked in here and when arriving, my room was changed. The lady at the front stated it would be cheaper and we would get a refund. Once I reached out the staff was rude and said nothing was changed and I would not be getting that difference back. If I would not have been lied to, I would have stayed with the room I paid for.

It was close to where we needed to go. Staff is not friendly or very helpful. We asked the cleaning lady for 2 washcloths the next morning and I had to go get some that evening and the front desk worker acted like it was a bother and I should not be asking for anything. Plus the people in the room next to us were stomping, knocking on walls and furniture, and talked very loud until after 11 pm. The beds were too hard also.

Loved this hotel. It looks new, well kept, well maintained, and well supplied. The staff was super friendly and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping. The breakfast was nicely set out and kept stocked /tidy. Great variety of food and drinks to choose from. Location is perfect. Walk out back and you can explore the river. Walk to the left and you can explore historic Wetumpka. Walk to the right and you can go to the casino. Totally walkable. We had a car and everything was within 3-5 minutes. Would definitely come back!

Did not get room clean the next day after checkin. I can hear and feel the springs in one of our queen beds. Breakfast choice was limited to only one choice of meat. Some people don"t eat turkey sausage need atleast 2 choices of meats.
