Breakfast was really good quality. Room spotless, bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space. Only downside to the room that we had, Historic Double, there was no window covering in the bathroom and the window glass was clear, this could easily be remedied with a small portable privacy screen or window privacy film

The Haycock is a wonderful hotel. The shower in the room was unbelievable - talk about a powerful shower - fab! Food and service were all great and the decor is quality. Only slight niggle was the early check in policy to be charged £30 just to drop a bag in my room - I didn't bother.

Amenities were good and the room was a great size. The location is quite noisy depending on which room you're allocated, and breakfast was a bit chaotic with staff struggling to keep up with demand.
