Overall it was adequate. I had a “handicap room” (bad knees). The toilet paper was difficult to access due to the bar just above it and it was about 4 inches from the toilet. Had a lift chair in the room which was nice. The breakfast was so-so. No fruit, mainly donuts and what looked like home maid chocolate chip cookies. They did have a waffle maker.. If I didn’t have my gps, I would not have found it. It was indicated by a sign at the exit, but not near the exit and several turns were involved

Check-in was exceptional. My room was on the second floor but since I couldn’t do the the stairs the management found me a room on the first floors. Room was very clean. I would stay at this hotel again. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Everything was as expected, friendly staff, clean room, spacious room, excellent towels, etc. I would have liked a safety bar in the bath/shower area. Breakfast was minimal. Parking near entrance was not large enough for my truck.

Hotel was clean and smelled nice. The room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. We had a big pickup with a trailer and they had a nice parking area for us. Good Job to Super 8 in Mount Pleasant. :)

The carpeting was wet near the desk. It seemed dirty. I had to wear shoes. The rest of room was good. Slept well. When i told the check out clerk about the carpet, he didnt show concern.

This particular Super 8 had a problem with forid flies in the room I stayed in. Forid flies are similar to the fruit fly but are far more invasive, problematic to rid of, and a health hazard to humans. I don't know if the problem went beyond my room but potentially it is a facility-wide infestation. Getting rid of forid flies requires finding the location(s) of infestation. Spraying or fumigating will not eliminate the problem and there could be more than one nest location within a facility. Treatment of forid flies is foreboding enough that exterminators such as Orkin will not attempt to control or rid a facility of them. A list of pests they don't treat is on their website and forid flies is on that list. Ironically, if you ask a local Orkin facility to treat your facility, they will claim they can rid your facility of ANY pests. But according to their own website that is not the case. Good luck.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was minimal but fresh and coffee was kept brewing. Especially noticed the room smelled fresh and was cleaned each day upon our return.

The host, Mike, is a wonderful person. His family is so friendly also. My wife and I broke down on our motorcycle vacation and were kind of stranded. Mike went above and beyond for us and made a bad situation very tolerable. We were able to rent a u-haul to get the motorcycle home and Mike gave us a ride to the U-haul dealer and stayed with us until he knew the rental was secured. We made a friend for life and will be going there every year as part of our vacation. The hospitality was better than any motel we have ever been in. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would give 100

We were in town for a wedding so pretty much just needed a place to sleep for tje night. Once we got in for the night we saw a roach and went to the front desk. They didnt offer to put us in another room so we checked out at almost 2 am. There was no offer of a discount or anything they were just happy keeping our money.

The first room we checked into had a large circle of white powder on the floor and a moldy smell because of “a cleaning incident”. We were given another room. In the morning, my 90 year old mother was trying to take a shower and the handle fell off. The manager accused her of breaking it, and said we should have come to the desk to have the faucet replaced. Since we were on our way to a wedding, clearly this was an insensitive suggestion. No apologies were made. Worst hotel experience in my life!

The first room smelled very smoky & I was worried I had booked a smoking room by mistake. We were given a different room by the gentleman behind the desk, which smelled much better. Location was great. Close to highway, a WalMart and a wonderful Mexican restaurant. Easy to find & easy to get back on the highway, but not much road sound.

Nothing fancy. But is was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. Would stay here again if passing through. Note: There are trains passing through town about 1/2 mile away and they do blow their whistle at night when crossing the roads.

Manager was nice. It was quiet. The one thing that was "controlable" was the time for breakfast. On a Saturday morning it ends at 9:00. We had been out late, at a concert. It would have been nice to have a 10:00 option. There could at least leave cold items available.
