Quality Inn & Suites South Portland

Parking was straightforward. Did not try the breakfast. The entire hotel had an odd scent - like overly powerful perfume. The room wasn’t dirty but it wasn’t clean. There were stains on the mattress cover and it appeared like it hadn’t been changed in a while. Stains on the floor. Weird stains on the walls in the bathroom. It looked like the shower head was going to fall off if you attempted to move it. The stopper on the sink was broken so the water drained slowly. The office chair for the desk was broken. The television was extremely small maybe 27” but it looked like there used to be a bigger wall mounted one at some point. There was a cannabis store sticker on the bedside table. The gentleman who checked us in was straightforward- did not ask how we were and immediately asked for payment card and ID. The room key cards were sticky and the little holder they came in was bent (reused maybe?). Overall, the room served its purpose but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Sheets were dirty (and room in general) and we discovered in the morning that anyone could see IN the room through the peephole , it had no cover

It is an older property but well maintained. I had a dog and the hosts gave me a room with easy access.

2nd stay. Loke the rooms, staff & nice breakfast.

It was a satisfactory overnight stay. It was clean, but has a bit of age on it. Seriously needs some upgrading; but that is how you get the reasonable prices.
