Beds had hairs on them, people sitting outside smoking and front desk personnel was nice but cold to our concerns. Bad vibes, bad area and totally uncomfortable environment from the moment we stepped inside. No elevators. Whole experience made us feel so uncomfortable that we left within 15 mins of arriving. The updates to the carpet and the rooms were nice but the cleanliness was horrible. And the bed linens/ pillows were just cheap and nasty. Once I pulled back the cheap / stained bedspread and saw the little hairs and debris on the white sheets- it was over! Rented and paid for two places to stay and only slept in one!! Worth the wasted money to get the hell outta there for my daughter and I!! So bad after a loooong fun day and was stressful. Nope!!!!

I chose Quality Inn because I liked the price point for two queen beds, plus it was pet friendly. I was pleased with the mattress and extra pillows. The shower had good water flow, the bathtub drain was a little slow, but not annoying. The hotel does NOT have an elevator, so we requested a first floor room. The building is old and if you are hoping for a new finished look, this is not the place. There was a wall mirror held together with tape, and a hole in the wall by the shower rod that needs new dry wall. Neither of those two things affected my good night’s sleep. The free breakfast offered both hot and cold items.

The room was dirty and the AC I it had stuff all inside it. The floors were dirty. There was no smoke detector, just wires coming out of where the smoke detector should be hanging from the ceiling. There was no elevator

No pool- but the picture of the pool is showing on the Expedia site. This is totally misleading. A few guests are confused by that as well. Drinking Water dispenser is not working. Toilet is clogged my entire stay. What a stressful stay at this hotel. We won’t never come back again.

The trash cans around the parking areas were full and overflowing onto the ground. The room and inside area was clean, but had a very strong fragrance that caused my allergies to go crazy. Staff was pleasant even when they had to deal with a Karen because the picture didn’t look like the room “exactly”!

Where do I start? There was black mold in the bathroom on the wall and at the bottom of the tub there was holes in the walls. There was clip toenails on the sofa when I pulled it out for the sofa bed. There was a drip pan underneath the kitchen sink to catch the water that was dripping. There was absolutely no dishes or should I say clean dishes, a.k.a. plasticware in the room the coffee pot was filthy dirty, and had a used coffee pod in it holes in the walls. The people that are living there not staying there for a short time up all night, slamming doors, smoking pot banging on walls floors I have stayed at several motels at least monthly for the past 15 years and never been in such a filthy place or felt uncomfortable going outside I don’t wanna say uncomfortable unsafe The room was so filthy dirty that we chose not to eat breakfast that was provided in our room cost because we didn’t know how dirty the kitchen was so we ate elsewhere.

The room was not clean — stained sheets and floors that turned our feet black just by walking a few steps after showering. No safety latch on the door, which didn’t feel secure. The AC was so loud it sounded like it was falling apart, and still struggled to keep the room cool. Even the basics felt like penny-pinching. The lounge water dispenser was either broken or deliberately slowed to a trickle, and when it did work, there was a sign insisting “cups only, no bottles.” Combine that with the unit often being empty, and it really felt like guests were being rationed. The only positive was the quick check-in; the front desk staff was polite and had everything ready. Unfortunately, the overall condition and management of the hotel overshadowed that.

The room was run down and minimally cleaned. I made the mistake of looking underneath the armoire for the TV remote and saw a sea of dust and multiple dead cockroaches. The mattress and bedding were comfortable enough, but overall it was a below-par experience. The staff was ok, but the hotel is very stingy when it comes to providing basic things like towels and toilet paper. They seemed to ration toilet paper like we were staying on a deserted island. There was literally 1/2 of a used roll in the room when we arrived. We had to repeatedly ask for additional rolls.

When I walked in to the room that I was originally given, room 228, it smelled like massive amounts of perfume. There was hair on the bed, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, the bottle of shampoo was pushed like it had been used. It was unacceptable to me, so I went to the front desk and complained. The lady on duty showed me another room, also on the second floor, but it also smelled like massive amounts of perfume. Not acceptable. I told the lady that this would not do. She was able to show me another room on the first floor. It was much smaller than the other rooms. However this room did not smell like perfume. The TV in this room, room 202, did not work. I have pictures from that original room, room 228. The stay at this Quality inn and suites was not fun and should have been so much better. It was terrible. I will never stay at a Quality inn and suites again.

Absolutely disgusting filthy bathroom, rug had some king of oil on it. The table by bed covered I. A sticky goo substance and was charged for the room 275.00 . I wouldn’t let my worst nightmare stay there. It was 100% disgusting there was mold all over the bathroom shower curtain and a stained TOILET. The towels were like sandpaper. I WOULD LOVE A REFUND !!TOTALLY DISGUSTING

The staff was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The room and common areas were well cleaned. The bathroom was clean with the exception of the shower. The tub faucet had plenty of pressure but when the shower was turned on it diminished significantly. There were parts of the shower that appeared to need a deep deep cleaning or replacement.

Room was not very clean - tub was gross. All surfaces were visibly dusty. Thousands of fingerprints on the microwave, big stain on one of the bedspreads. There was NO remote for the TV. The desk gave us one to try but it. Didn’t work. The beds linens and towels were nice and clean, beds comfortable.

Pro: Hotel was clean and staff was nice. It’s situated near the highway and only 10-15 min drive to downtown Portland. Ok if you’re just going to sleep and leave. Area appeared safe. Cons: some of the equipment (tv/fridge/etc) wasn’t plugged in. Thought it was broken until we saw that the power bar was unplugged. Shower head was leaking and splattering water everywhere. Water dispenser was empty. Internet did not work which meant a that the TV channels were inaccessible.

The whole property smelled strongly like air freshener and febreeze. It was overwhelming at front desk, hallways and my room. I don’t know if they are trying to cover up an odor but it burned my nose and eyes. Also the bathtub looked like it was going to fall through the floor, I decided not to use it. I stayed one night because I had an early flight to the airport.

Deposit policy needs to be applied consistently. A front desk agent got bit of an attitude with me when I questioned their deposit policy. , My room was constantly shaken by an exit door slamming shut everytime someone came in or out. Breakfast was substandard when compared to other quality inns I've been to.

Overall strong smell of disinfectant covering the pet odors. Place was shabby, halls needed to be vacuumed. Our AC made loud noice TV remote did not work door security latch was broken. The place just felt old it needed to be updated and repairs needed. Breakfast was limited food ran out and never replaced. Everything cooked was awful and low quality. During check in they had a sign stating you had 20 minutes to report complaints or refund your room! That should have been a warning for us to turn around but we were not sure if we could find another place. We did complain about the remote and someone did help right away. The other issues were after the “20” minutes. Do not recommend this place to anyone!!

The room overall was average, the breakfast was fairly gross. The staff was very rude and almost bothered that we were checking in (at around 5:30 pm). It was a very mediocre at best experience. Would not stay again because I felt very unwelcome.

As often happens with Expedia, the property had NOT been notified and did NOT have our reservation when we arrived. The desk manager had to call Expedia, spending nearly half an hour to straighten it out, without result. She finally gave up and just checked us in. We will no longer book through Expedia for future trips.

Walking through the halls at night was uncomfortable due to the heavy presence of marijuana smoke. We walked by rooms with wide open doors where smoke was literally rolling out. We learned later that this hotel is being used to house local homeless people and that it is a frequent site for police and EMS activity. This would have been nice to know as it is not the environment I would choose to expose my family too.

Hotel was Good for the price and proximity to the airport . Not any food places nearby if you don’t have a car. Hotels.com sent a confirmation with the wrong hotel on it so I had to figure out where the real reservation was and uber twice so that I could get to the right place.

Stayed 2 nights for Portland. Location was convenient, close to airport and harbor. Visted Fort Williams Park and Cape Elizabeth were nearby. The hotel is run down a bit. Beds were okay. Just average -recommend for a short stay. Breakfast was also just okay, cereal and bagels, basics.

Great value for your money. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, room was very clean, beds & pillows extra comfy and largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. Breakfast was an amazing spread considering the price of the room. Even the quality of the toiletries were above what you would expect in a moderately priced hotel. Only negative, and it's a minor one, was the vending machine was out of order the entire time we were there. Our plane was late getting in. We saw no open fast-food places to quickly drive thru on the way to the hotel. When we told the staff, they raided the kitchen and brought us breakfast sandwiches, fruit cups and yogurt. Totally not expected but very much appreciated. A place to stay.

Cost was very reasonable, we were there for the area attractions. Just needed a place to lay our heads at night. Wasn't looking for amenities. Motel was dated, but clean. Felt as safe as any other. Had to ask front desk for paper products twice. Housekeeping was a bit lacking. Breakfast (used once in 6 days) was adequate, but please find a higher quality coffee to serve!!

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, but the stench of deodorizer permeated the entire room, including our clothes and luggage. The toilet was not very clean, the sink had two huge cracks in it and there was a big hole above the sink where the light fixture had been replaced. The floors looked clean but were sticky. There was an office chair but no desk or table. Breakfast was not bad, but you are not allowed to take it back to your room (maybe because there's no desk or table?). We are not planning to stay here again.

Check in was very slow with only one person ahead of me. The employee had challenges and seemed to want to help. The tv remote didn't work and the front desk never did anything to solve the problem. Breakfast was horrid. Who has waffles, pancakes and no butter or syrup? Why they even bothered with the bfast is mind boggling. Just pissed people off. Wouldve been better with a bagel and cream cheese. Property was dated and not real clean. Pretty disappointed.
