The breakfast was very sad we saw coffee, 2 muffins and a couple of bagels that was it, we had to have our room keys fixed twice because they wouldn’t work. Our room was a conjoining room and our neighbors sounded like they were in our room talking when we were trying to sleep, was disappointed there was no towels in the pool area so had to use our room towels.

We concur with the mostly positive motel reviews submitted previously for this property. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The only demerit noted was the mediocre quality of coffee provided. The free breakfast, which was appreciated, could be considered standard fare for this class of motel. The price point for the lodging compared favorably to the quality of accommodation. The Alpine is a dated mountain town hotel with a friendly staff and everything you need in a room. Good bed and pillows, mini fridge with separate freezer, microwave, flatscreen (with all types of channels) iron and hairdryer. They offer a typical breakfast of this kind of hotel. Almost forgot, they have an indoor pool and hot tub. It’s slightly out of town making it convenient and quiet. We will definitely stay again when we’re in Gunnison.

Food on the floor, under the bed and behind the bed. Phone did not work, and very noisy. The worst part was the disgusting smell: chemical air "freshener" that we still can not wash out of our hair and clothes 2 days after we left the motel.

The good: -Decent Breakfast -Having daily room service -Convenient Location The bad: -Towels and sheets had stains -Amenities like Shampoos, tissues, etc. were not replaced without requesting (poor quality shampoo, no conditioner or shower caps) -Breakfast was warm but not hot, the waffle maker did not cook the dough all the way, and seating was very limited -The hallway is very noisy, as well as the airport next door -The room air conditioner is super loud -The hotel was overpriced for the quality

It's tough just to find a clean place that's affordable in Gunnison, so it was nice to find Alpine Inn. It's cleaner than most and everything is in reasonably good condition. The bed was comfy, though the pillows were lacking a bit. The breakfast was average, but decent. It's a smaller hotel and tucked away a bit from downtown, which I like. I deducted points because I discovered prepared food left by a previous guest in the bed table drawer (yuck) and a suspicious stain on the chair (I didn't dare use it). Still, this place is a good value for Gunnison and I'd stay there again.

Was an overnight stay, not looking for up-market, but the heating unit switched on like a noisy fan for about 5 mins every 20-30mins. More bedding would have let us turn it down, but it was -12 deg Fahrenheit that night.

Room was OK, except: - uncomfy bed which made terrible noises when getting up or down - could hear front desk phone - which was left on with a loud ringer - despite there being no night staff on duty to answer it - so rang loudly and woke us multiple times in the night - adjoining door with another room also meant loud noises from their TV until ~11PM, then from loud alarm clock (and multiple snoozes) from about 4AM to 4:40AM Maybe another room, far further from the front and with no rude adjoining person next door, would have been much better. However, our actual experience was terrible and resulted in being way short of sleep.

Alpine Inn appears to have recently been "remodeled". I have never been there before, so I don't know to what extent. It was overall clean and in decent condition. Unfortunately, the walls seemed to have been made of cardboard. Combine that with some less than considerate neighbors and we could hear every cough, slamming drawer, slamming door, and toilet flush.

Comfortable beds. Hot shower with good water pressure. We didn’t partake in the breakfast. The tub floor was a bit creaky, but we didn’t break through. Very quiet hotel. Will definitely stay here again should we be back in the area. Thank you!

Very nice hotel. On a road trip and after 8 days, the most comfortable bed we have slept in. Older, but the rooms have been remodeled with limited amount of electric outlets. No night table on both sides of the bed, one of my pet peeves. Sink and well lit makeup area on the outside of the bathroom. Really liked that! Frustrated with the very small single bar of soap in the room, and it didn’t even lather up well.

Staff was very accommodating. Stayed here at the back end of a ski trip to Created Butte, and chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the airport…so I could walk if needed. Fortunately, the hotel ended up giving me a ride to the airport. Note that there are dining options within close walking distance, and public travel and Ubers are not usually available. Would still recommend for travelers just stopping through.

We had to check in late and Damian at the front desk was so nice and helpful. While it’s not a posh place, it’s well maintained and the staff is great. We would stay here again. The only reason amenities are good and not excellent is that we didn’t even go into the pool area so can’t speak to that.

Vicki is amazing! The night I was coming in I hadn't arrived by 8 so she called me to make sure I was still coming and that I was ok. Then when I got there she made me feel like part of the family. She was genuine. The next morning on my way out for work she had a smile on her face and was just so happy talking with folks. The room was amazing for the price it felt like a room and not just some stuffy room you sleep in like some hotels. I will always use this place when I travel to Gunnison for work.

If you have a service dog they’ll ask for documentation, and way more than what they are allowed, a vest isn’t good enough. I called ahead, said my mom can’t do stairs and have a service dog. The person didn’t put it in the notes, but he made it like it was my fault. They downgraded my room to 1 queen bed instead of a king but I still had to pay for my expensive room that I didn’t get.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was better than muffins and stale rolls, very good. The room was clean, and if you miss the "old days" pre-Covid when they cleaned your room, made your bed, and put in new towels, you'll love this place. Only suggestion I have is that, at least on the weekend, maybe have one of the cleaning staff come in early to help with the food service. The desk person did her best, but with a couple of twenty somethings emptying out the egg pan in one trip, she had a hard time keeping up, taking out the trash, and answering the phone. Also, some artificial sweeteners on the coffee bar would be great. But those are minor.

If you want a good night sleep don't stay here it is VERY noisy. The doors slam shut. The breakfast was nonexistent. I heard the front office lady say they ran out of food.....the coffee creamer was expired and my coffee showed it.....the hot tub is big enough for 2 small people. Our shower tub felt like it was going to go into the next floor. I can not recommend this property.

Alpine Inn and Suites is a great hotel. The room and hotel was very clean, the bed was comfy, the water pressure in the shower was powerful, and the breakfast was awesome. The staff were friendly and had great recommendations for a dinner spot. The furniture in the rooms is a little dated, but it is still in great condition and again, very clean, so that’s really not an issue. The price is a steal and I will be definitely stay here when I come to town again. Wonderful!
