They did not service room the entire stay. We asked for service but they responded they were booked and would not be able to do it. They never cleaned pool, dirty when we arrived and dirty when we left

Just a one night stay here on way to Great Smoky Mountains National Park area. Clean, quiet, good location - especially for James Madison University visit. Basic hotel. Limited breakfast offerings, small dining area. Older fitness equipment, not a fancy fitness center; pool is outside. It was sufficient for our purposes, got room for a good price, albeit off season (early August).

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Beds were a little uncomfortable and shower pressure was weak. The gym was decent but machine was out dated. Cables coming loose and hard to adjust. Pool looked green but my kids enjoyed it.

Our stay at this hotel was mixed. The lady at the front desk was very kind. However, we booked this hotel because our daughter wanted to go to an outdoor pool and most hotels in the area had an indoor pool. When we arrived and went to the pool we discovered that it was green and locked up. The management in this hotel, which wasn’t available on the weekend, was unwilling to work with us because of their “strict cancellation policy” which is just used as an out for them. If your amenities are going to be unusable, which is fine, please show it in the listing so your guest don’t waste their time and money.

Great location, great hills for walking. Near all shopping. Pool area was unkempt and no lighting. Breakfast was not until 7:00 PM, so most workers left, but they didn't miss much, as there was only waffles, cereal, and some breads. There is a no pet policy, but there were pets all over, walking the halls, barking, etc. No enforcement at all. Night clerk was great, morning front desk as just there. (No greeting, no eye contact, etc...)

Close to I-81, in walking distance of good restaurants and shopping. Easy access to gas stations. Outdoor pool and fitness center in adjacent building. Only down-side for us was no hot tube. Decent breakfast, 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Well stocked snacks for sale. Friendly staff. Room and bed were comfortable.

One of the worst hotel and room I have ever experienced. The bed had dark curly hair in it as if the sheets had not been cleaned. The room was supplied with 2 towels only. The floor, rugged, was dirty and the noise from the other rooms was horrendous. You could hear cell phones ringing, flushing toilets and showers running. While the staff was OK the hotel itself is a 1 star at best. You get what you pay for

Dirty room, but Robert at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. The room obviously was not thoroughly cleaned from the previous guest because there was dirt and medication on the floor. Lamp shade and bathroom floor were filthy.

Our stay was short, but good. The man working the front was very kind and polite and happy. We arrived late, about 11 pm. We went right to bed, but getting up to use the bathroom, discovered the toilet was fllthy. The were feces on the rim and on the seat. Disgusting that it was left uncleaned. Very unpleasant for my son and I. We were in a hurry early the next morning so did not have time to address thie issue. Made us wonder if the room had been cleaned at all😩

The only critique I have is that the doors seem pretty thin. This is partly on the hotel, partly on the people in the hallway having no concept of how loud they were, but they literally sounded like they were in the room with me. I was on the 1st floor, thought usually they had dogs in their own section. Maybe I was just the unlucky one to get put by them. The breakfast was just eh, nothing I would even want to try.

Property is convenient to highway and dining. The walls were paper thin, I could hear everything in the surrounding rooms. The bathroom was so small the sink is outside of the bathroom. Toilet did not flush properly.

Hotel looks relatively new. Everything was clean and neat. Lobby was bright and inviting and clerk was extremely courteous. We had 2 handicap accessible rooms. Both were large with double beds and a reclining chair. This was an overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived early and asked for early check in and we were promptly told there wasnt anything available. She didn’t ask us what room type of room etc, just no. We were the only car in the parking lot and when I pointed that out she told me they had been sold out the night before. Umm…on a Thursday night!? I doubt it. The most cars I saw that weekend was maybe a dozen. Also completely dead the following Friday on our return trip/stay. I’ve never been told no for early check in at a hotel.

Checked in late due to traffic, paid for room with 2 beds (4 people) and was given a king bed. Was told they were full and that it was our fault for using Expedia because they overbooked. Had to move furniture and rearrange room at 10:30 pm to try and get 2 rollaway beds in our room with no room to walk around. Not enough towels. Had to leave luggage in car because there was no room. No offers to give partial refund at THIER mistake. Anytime we have travelled and mistake was make, partial refund or upgrade has been given. I should have to pay for someone’s mistake nor move furniture in my hotel room so my children can sleep. Morning staff said that wasn’t the case, someone else was given our room and the night staff lied. Don’t stay here. They could care less. Chairs were dirty in lobby and Christmas decor is still out.

Hotel is great, housekeepers and Darnell were amazing. Front desk however, not such a welcoming attitude, blond hair gentleman major attitude due to my service dog literally ask if my dog got my meds… HIPPA VIOLATION!! his attitude was extremely poor even when offering my dogs paperwork! UNACCEPTABLE! Train you staff better that’s going to end up in a hippa violations law suit ! Young Spanish guy and Darnell were amazing staff very helpful and friendly. This was a room I paid for it wasn’t being donated so no I didn’t appreciate his attitude at all

The hotel looks good from the outside, but the inside needs updating - filthy carpet on baseboards, suitcase carts falling apart, etc. Also, our toilet was not working so, after several calls to the front desk and finally hunting down the night clerk, we were handed a plunger to fix it ourselves. We were told by her, and again by the day clerk, that they do not have a repair person on call at night and that they, the clerks, do not repair toilets.

The lady at the desk was miserable. Took her a few minutes to even acknowledge that I was waiting to check in and then when I checked in, she had a complete attitude and acted like she didn’t even want to be bothered. Not very nice.

I stayed here in October 2023. There was NO FOOD for breakfast next morning. How could something so important be mismanaged so badly? I came back last night because I thought that was an aberration. Skimpy breakfast this morning. When we came back to the lobby to check out, a man said there was no more bread and the man behind the desk said “sorry there ‘s no more.” Also we checked in late on Thursday and planned to eat in our room. But when I asked the man behind the desk for plastic utensils he said they were locked up for the night and inaccessible. Staff and rooms here are great, but food management is abysmal! John Carney

Our room was clean and quiet. The pillows were great and bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and shopping was so convenient. The breakfast was ok but not outstanding. Standard cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, mini muffins and make your own waffle. The hot food was fake egg rounds that were awful and sausage patties. Consequently everyone was trying to eat waffles as their hot food so the waffle maker was backed up. Despite the mediocre breakfast, we would stay here again because the price was great and so was the room.
