Hotel did not have any of the items it said it was advertised as having the pool and the hot tub had been damaged over the weekend and was closed. There was no breakfast available. Cancellation was not a possibility. It’s dirty and old and not a good facility.

The stay was not great. The pool had no water in it so my kids could not swim and the tv was not working in the room. Called the front desk and they would not come fix it or give us a new room. Spent alot of money and did not get the amenities that we paid for. Will not be back.

The mold smell in the room was overwhelming. The pool and hot tub were shut down, but we were not informed in advance. No elevators. Fridge in the room didn't work. Bathroom was half way through renovations. Overall, older hotels are ok, if they show pride of ownership. This hotel was a bust, not worth staying.

When we went to check in, we were told there was no elevator for a 3rd floor room. The pool and hot tub were both down, so no swimming or relaxing. We got into the room and decided to watch tv, and the service was broken. We asked the clerk to help with TV and he said it wasn't working. I had to run down 3 floors to ask him because the phone jack in the room had been broken from the wall and the phone didn't work either. The drain in the shower was plugged, so showers were actually like partial baths. The toilet was leaking, and there was goop seeping from where the drip was. A pretty rotten experience overall.

Positives -Has hot tub -Friendly staff -Appears they are trying to update -No bed bugs - Comfy beds and pillows, but I do like harder beds. Negatives -Hot tub is only big enough for 4/5 people, if you want to play footsy with them. Jets barely work. -Shower is very old, I even had to duck to be able to shower and I'm only 5'5 -Moved nightstand to plug in alarm clock and discovered toenail clippings, dirt, dead bugs, and Jabanero sauce? -Pool is FREEZING cold, my kids had blue quivering lips. -Because of the lack of carpet in hallway, made for a very noisy stay and also very slick stairs as the stairs are right beside the pool. -No elevator with 3 floors -AC does not work below 67. When it did finally kick on, smelled very must. -People are allowed to smock right outside the front enterance -Breakfast was minimal. If I had a choice to stay elsewhere, I would. Unfortunately, all were booked and this was our only option. I've stayed at cheaper places that were cleaner and more updated.

The tub didn’t drain so it was clearly not cleaned properly. You could see soap scum, and hair rings around the tub. The toilet backed up which they never got to after several request to do so. There was something that look like a booger on the ceiling no radio or alarm clock. The first day of breakfast had expired yogurt from July and this is September. Ice cold coffee, which obviously was left over from the day before. No syrup for waffles and basically nothing very limited. Also there was no overstay services such as replenishing coffee.

Checked in at 7:30. One of our rooms was not fully cleaned. Staff knocked on the door at 8:30 reminding me there was no smoking in the hotel. I have never smoked in my life. The rooms smelled. Cleaning supplies like mops were out in the hallways along with multiple dehumidifiers. Would never stay here again!!!!

The room was clean. Flooring was updated, all new carpet and laminate. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, or two types of cereal. It would have been nice to have eggs, sausage or bacon for those of us who don’t want the carb heavy waffles, or who have dairy allergies and can’t eat the yogurt or cereal with milk. The shower was definitely for those of a smaller stature, a taller guest would struggle to get clean.

The bed was comfy but whatever is above room 106, kept us up all night. Some heavy footed employee or guest was in and out stomping all night. The bed needs more than just thin blankets, on them, where is the comforter? Our TV remote was sticky with dried crust on it. Garbage piled in the hallway was making a stink. The pool and hot tub that were advertised, were empty and closed. We had to call staff to come to the desk at check in, why is that? The quality of this hotel has ceased since I was employed here in 2010. I doubt we will be returning.

The hotel water pressure was horrible very little output. There was no fitted sheet on our bed just a flat sheet over the mattress. They didnt stock their breakfast and had few choices. The toilet in the room we had was not secure to the floor.

Pros: staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable, was quiet dispite being full, AC worked well and loud. Cons: shower is extremely low and being only 5'5 I even had to duck, rooms are very outdated, does not appear that staff move any furniture to vacuum under but just around. When we arrived, our smoke detector was beeping for low battery. Staff was quick to come up and remove battery however did not have replacement. I did say it was fine for the night, however, I regretted it after we tried to plug in cell chargers and had sparks at every outlet except the ones on the lamps, but they were so loose we couldn't use them. Breakfast was also basically non existant (at least at 630 when we needed to eat) and we were forced to go elsewhere.

The check in was very prolonged - staff had some tech issues with customer in front of me and then answered a call during our check in time that again prolonged our check in. We were super tired and just wanted to get to our room. But what shocked me the most was the awful condition of the lobby floor - there was dirt ALL over the place on the floor. Suspicious that this place is used by trades people who come here and obviously don’t pay attention to what they do to the floors in the lobby or hallways and not enough staff to clean. Room was okay.

Came in on crutches and they refused to help me get my luggage. Tv didn't work properly wouldn't help. Room smelled said they didn't smell anything. Hot tub jets didn't work hot tub was lukewarm. Upon checkout didn't even ask how things were. Bathroom was dirty and broken.

Room was dirty, staff was unfriendly and the owner shouldn't be running a motel... The harassment after the initial complaint was insufferable and be careful bringing service animals because they will accuse you of lying about it if you have any complaints about the motel. We initially booked for 2 nights but had to stay somewhere else due to the harassment and they refused to refund our 2nd night

The room smelled musty. The ice machine was broken and never fixed in the 4 days we stayed there. Not handicap accessible for my 86 year old father. Our keys didn’t work for the back door like they were supposed to and when we inquired about it we were never given an explanation. This was important for us as it was the closest way to our rooms. His only response was “oh I see” we will NEVER stay there again or recommend this motel to anyone!!

Things we appreciated: Great location & price; really nice pool & hot tub room…the pool was warm…the hot tub was hot; great breakfast & coffee; cute little lobby & small area for a quick pizza party; nice hallway flooring; bed was comfortable; staff were friendly & helpful.

Once we found the hotel we were disappointed to have to climb to the 3rd floor with our bags. We arrived after dark and there was NOTHING to identify the hotel. Street signs were hard to read. We must have driven by 7 or 8 times before we noticed a small Wyndham sign. By the time we got registered and our bags into our room it was difficult to find a place to eat. Not our best night!

Economical base for what we had to do in Watertown. Convenient location for our purpose. Friendly and competent staff. Everything worked. Hot tub was nice, but could have been a little warmer.

Room was clean, good working frig, microwave, upholstery on one chair not in real good shape-arms were quite worn on the end & not a lot of cushion to the seat. Bed comfortable. Parking lot needs a little work on the potholes.

The hot tub and pool were nice. Breakfast was poor. Most of the food was gone or cold. The room could use more bed lamps. The USB plug-ins didn’t work in all the lamps. Overall, the room was adequate for the price.

It was incredibly noisy with doors slamming, hallway voices echoed. Breakfast was gross. There were lots of carbs, walmart donuts with no utensils to use, zero protein options. Staff was kind enough.

The tub didn’t drain so it was clearly not cleaned properly. You could see soap scum, and hair rings around the tub. The toilet backed up which they never got to after several request to do so. There was something that look like a booger on the ceiling no radio or alarm clock. The first day of breakfast had expired yogurt from July and this is September. Ice cold coffee, which obviously was left over from the day before. No syrup for waffles and basically nothing very limited. Also there was no overstay services such as replenishing coffee.

The room was clean. Flooring was updated, all new carpet and laminate. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, or two types of cereal. It would have been nice to have eggs, sausage or bacon for those of us who don’t want the carb heavy waffles, or who have dairy allergies and can’t eat the yogurt or cereal with milk. The shower was definitely for those of a smaller stature, a taller guest would struggle to get clean.

Property is quite run down. Breakfast was very limited. Cold cereal and pre-packaged muffins. Breakfast room was not clean. Dirty floor, dirty counters. Pool and hot tub were out of order. Standing puddle of water in the hallway near the breakfast room. Hotel room was musty smelling.

On my last trip every super 8 I stayed at was run down and had horrible breakfast (ie coffee and fruit if you got down quick enough). It was not the case at Watertown. Everything was clean and you could tell someone cared about the small details. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the breakfast area was clean and there was a selection of cereal for my son, biscuits n gravy, waffles, toast, milk and actual juice in the juice machine. This Super 8 was a step above every Super 8 I've been too and also one of the cheaper ones I've stayed at. If I travel in that area again I will be staying there again.

Thw breakfast lacked variety, no milk for cereal and fresh bisquits for the bisquits and gravy. The bathroom/shower drained extremely slow to not drainint while actually showering.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for years and always had a great breakfast. This was the first time that the breakfast was awful, and it was awful every morning. They used to have eggs. Sausage, bacon, delicious sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, and this time the gravy looked days old and there wasn’t even enough batter for 1/4 of a waffle. Very disappointed

Nice pool & hot tub, however the room I got smelled smokey and furniture not in the best shape. breakfast is 6-10, I arrived at 8, very limited choices, only hot thing was biskets & gravy-no gravy, no syrup. when I finally found someone they said "Its about time to close down" I said "I thought breakfast was to 10." 8-10 lodgers came in before I left a bit after 9 and were not happy. At least the juice machine was working.

We stayed on our way home. You can tell they have been making renovations throughout with fresh paint, new flooring, etc. They mentioned the fun lights in the pool area along with toys. We had lots of fun in the pool area playing volleyball.

The outside was a little sketchy when I first pulled up. Seems like more of a long term stay than leisure but the front desk personnel was friendly and apologetic for a minor issue with my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. I didn’t use any of the amenities. The sound proofing was not great.

I booked a pet friendly room, they claimed after checkout via text and added fees, that I didn't tell them about my dog. I told them on arrival. Well, they charged me a double fee for the dog, made me feel like a thief. many messages back and forth but they never made good on their mistake. Many different options to stay, so definitely won't stay here again as the management will play bait and switch.
