No elevator, no one helped carry multiple bags up and down multiple flights, water in bathroom only trickled out of faucet. After complaining that I’d like a partial refund and asking management to follow up with me, never heard from them. Front desk staff was nice, Cute pub in the basement of the hotel.

The staff were almost all great. The ones that weren't great were still quite good. The pub downstairs is very large, and it's convenient. The combinations of price, location, and the property made it great. It's not a movement building, but it has charm. Posts of the room were a bit odd, like the hairdryer not bring in the bathroom and having to duck it you want to look in the mirror while you dry your hair, but that's just amusing. It's definitely on my dirt list of places to stay if i return. I lived having a lot of restaurant choices within about 5 minutes waking distance.

This hotel is an excellent location. Rooms have all the basics and the staff were super friendly. Best part was the temporary bar and BBQ provided before the rugby game. Great location for access to Avivo stadium and also only 20 minute walk to Grafton St. A real gem.

Great stay on two different visits during our week stay. The staff is friendly and gave us great service. The breakfast was continental style or you can order from a short menu. The bar areas were very cozy and Irish, We did the dinner Irish House Party show on a Thursday night, the food was good and the show fantastic. We were a thirty minute walking distance to the museums, Trinity College and Temple Bar area as we were out that way for sight seeing. We took a taxi back to the hotel in the evening.

We stayed two nights here for an American college football game in Aviva Stadium. The location was great - an easy walk to the stadium and a pleasant walk to the Dublin City center. There was plenty of easy, close street parking (free for the weekend). Had to drag bags up a few stairs, no biggie. Room was smallish but sufficient and comfortable. The tailgate party the hotel hosted before and after the game was a great idea and a lot of fun.

This Hotel is old by fine. However in the older part of the establishment the accommodation is quite poor. For example a bathroom with a toilet that doesn’t quite flush and zero ventilation is not good enough. Broken tiles and dirty towel rail. However the beds are clean very comfortable and the staff are great. Breakfast is excellent

I really did not like this hotel. It has a very budget feel. There was never anyone at reception when I went there and the room was tiny (37). The floors also creak a lot which I did find disturbing. I must say however that the standard of housekeeping was excellent and the room, while small, had everything one would need and the bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was ample and the service very pleasant. The hotel has a great location. I am aware that Irish hotels are generally very expensive and I cannot say if the Lansdowne offers better value than others.

The hotel room was the worst I have ever stayed in! It’s clean but the furniture is cheap and possibly not changed since the 1980s. The lighting is even worse! My room was on top floor and when it rained, you heard every single drop hitting the roof. There is no thermostat and you have to set the heating at the radiator which means if you turn it low for the night you wake up to a freezing cold room. The bathroom was just awful. There is possibly no insulation in the partition wall and you can hear person next door moving, speaking on their phone, etc - I would not recommend staying there.

Just very old room and hotel, needs reno done looks neglected. Noise levels were so bad I had to call customer service with hotels.com to complain. Reception simply doesn't care and the one who "helped" me get a quiet room was simply drunk.

A very welcoming & charming hotel. Was perfectly located for an event I had at the RDS arena. We also booked on a weekend where Ireland faced off against Australia. The hotels atmosphere was brilliant and the pub “The Den” was lovely. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was a little expensive as we paid €25 for two bowls of cereal, a coffee, Green tea and small glass of orange juice.
