Solaz is visually stunning - lush vegetation, sleek modern architecture, numerous pools and hot spas with incredible views of the ocean, plenty of lounge seating around the pools/spas with large umbrellas for shading, and very spacious rooms (ours had an outer courtyard, large sleeping/bathroom area, and a patio with an ocean view and plunge pool. Everything, both indoors and out, was immaculate! We absolutely loved being there. I do have two complaints: 1) After checking in, we were greeted by an employee who took us (and our keys) to a seating area to “explain the layout of the resort.” His real purpose was to sign us up for a personal tour of the complex (alarm bells!). Time share sales pitch anyone? After several refusals to participate on our part, he finally handed our keys over to someone who escorted us to our room. There is nothing like being held hostage after a long flight to be coerced into participating in a time share pitch! 2) As others have mentioned, the food and drinks at the various restaurants are very pricey. For example, we payed $104 for the buffet breakfast for 2 (not including the tip). Most mornings we opted for the buffet, which was very good. You can also order from a menu (also pricey). We agreed that the Japanese restaurant was the best for dinner - great food that was more reasonable priced. Despite these two complaints, Solaz is an amazing resort and, if we return to Cabo, will undoubtedly elect to stay there again.

This is our 2nd time staying at Solaz in less than 12 months. We loved it so much the first time we had to come back. The resort is absolutely breathtaking with modern architecture, every amenity imaginable, and the agave and cacti gardens are manicured to pristine perfection. The staff is so incredibly friendly and hospitable. A big thank you to Gabriel who went above and beyond for making our stay so special. Our gratitude to Pedro, Irving, and Teo for their top notch poolside service! And of course the staff at Cascabel for breakfast every morning. It feels like a home away from home. We can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely gorgeous. Immaculate property. Plenty of friendly and available help with any needs. Room was beautiful. Pools with swim up bar was a daily stop. one negative, the sushi restaurant on property was terrible. I'm not sure if it really is part of the resort or not, but service, food not impressed. We stayed here last year and will stay here again sooner than expected. This is heaven.

Excellent service/location. Room was much better in person than photos. Plunge pool was more of a moat but pools were amazing & room was spacious & well designed. Lots of great food options - don't typically love resorts but would definitely stay here again!

This property is so beautiful and luxurious! Being a designer I had walked this property when it opened and researched the architect. I was so excited when I could finally book my stay. All of the affluent details throughout at gorgeous. The warm stone walls, the perfectly planned out and maintained native landscape...down to the stunning infinity pools that makes you feel like you are floating in the ocean. We enjoyed the jacuzzi spas alone many mornings and evenings, which was also very relaxing. The food and service throughout was great. We loved that it was peaceful, quiet, and there were people around but we weren't surrounded by them. We had our own butler for the Oasis room- we texted with him if we needed anything. The room was gorgeous and luxurious and the double hammock on the balcony was so fun to have! I highly recommend- it was perfect for a quiet getaway!

You get a concierge assigned to you upon checking in. The architecture of this property is immaculate. Moving on to the rooms, perfection. They all face the ocean. The thermostat's temperature is ideal, and the drapes are automated, and you can also pull a whole temporary wall if you want privacy from the closet/bathroom area. The pools: A family pool and an adults' pool are divided by a significant distance, so that you won’t hear any children. Both have pool bars and infinity pools with gorgeous views. The towels are as soft as heaven, and the staff watches over your every need and conveniently caters to your experience. The food is outstanding, exceptional, and delicious. Please note that this is not an all-inclusive resort, and it is not cheap; it is a luxury resort, so be prepared to pay fair prices for the quality food you eat. Conveniently located between the Marina and San Jose, you can also explore the town and have fun outside the resort. I am definitely going back to Solaz.

The room was beautiful and super clean. The beds were great and the bedding as well. Has nice Byredo body and hair care. Definitely could hear the cars from the freeway. I guess it’s the tourist corridor and had a lot of traffic. They clean very well and provide tons of towels. The food at the resort is very good. The only thing is there is nothing casual except the air stream which is closed on some days and then closed again for a private event and they don’t let you know. The menus for each restaurant for lunch to dinner is completely different and you have to be in the mood for heavy Italian food for dinner (no pizza from their oven st dinner) or a Seafood restaurant. Their Michelin recommended restaurant is closed for renovations.

We loved this hotel. A quick 30 from airport. Very easy to get to and from. I loved the service. Place is beautiful. Stay was so friendly and helpful. Place smelled like heaven. Only thing we didn't like was drinks didn't start till 10, which turns out is a great thing :) Please gets 5 stars we will be back! And I will tell everyone about this place.

This hotel is gorgeous. It's huge so you don't feel crowded and there's always a pool chair. My only complaint is the traffic noise from the street. Make sure to ask for a room close to the beach.

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend away at Solaz. The service was impeccable, the views breath taking, the food excellent and the room was inviting and comfortable. We took a whale tour while in Cabo, but I believe we had better whale watching views from our Ocean View balcony at the resort. There really is no need to leave the resort once you arrive. They really have thought about every detail.

El Hotel es espectacular el servicio y el personal es perfecto PEEEEERO a la hora del check in te ofrecen un desayuno cuyos fin es obtener algunos beneficios (así te lo venden) y terminas en una reunión para comprar un tiempo compartido de la propiedad que termina siendo un poco ruda casi casi sin dejarte salir si no haces una compra de la membresía al club , estando de vacaciones y de cumpleaños de mi esposa perder 2 horas y literalmente que no te dejen salir es muy rudo de su parte , terminan pidiéndote una ID y una tarjeta de crédito la cual toman tus datos sin entender por qué ? Love the Hotel. The service was impeccable. There was a storm on our visit, management and staff was very comforting, available and corresponded at all times on the activities. The cocktails by the bars were amazing. I will definitely go back.

The only thing is there is nothing casual except the air stream which is closed on some days and then closed again for a private event and they don’t let you know. The menus for each restaurant for lunch to dinner is completely different and you have to be in the mood for heavy Italian food for dinner (no pizza from their oven st dinner) or a Seafood restaurant. Their Michelin recommended restaurant is closed for renovations.

Solaz is visually stunning - lush vegetation, sleek modern architecture, numerous pools and hot spas with incredible views of the ocean, plenty of lounge seating around the pools/spas with large umbrellas for shading, and very spacious rooms (ours had an outer courtyard, large sleeping/bathroom area, and a patio with an ocean view and plunge pool. Everything, both indoors and out, was immaculate! We absolutely loved being there. I do have two complaints: 1) After checking in, we were greeted by an employee who took us (and our keys) to a seating area to “explain the layout of the resort.” His real purpose was to sign us up for a personal tour of the complex (alarm bells!). Time share sales pitch anyone? After several refusals to participate on our part, he finally handed our keys over to someone who escorted us to our room. There is nothing like being held hostage after a long flight to be coerced into participating in a time share pitch! 2) As others have mentioned, the food and drinks at the various restaurants are very pricey. For example, we payed $104 for the buffet breakfast for 2 (not including the tip). Most mornings we opted for the buffet, which was very good. You can also order from a menu (also pricey). We agreed that the Japanese restaurant was the best for dinner - great food that was more reasonable priced. Despite these two complaints, Solaz is an amazing resort and, if we return to Cabo, will undoubtedly elect to stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous. Immaculate property. Plenty of friendly and available help with any needs. Room was beautiful. Pools with swim up bar was a daily stop. one negative, the sushi restaurant on property was terrible. I'm not sure if it really is part of the resort or not, but service, food not impressed. We stayed here last year and will stay here again sooner than expected. This is heaven.

Excellent service/location. Room was much better in person than photos. Plunge pool was more of a moat but pools were amazing & room was spacious & well designed. Lots of great food options - don't typically love resorts but would definitely stay here again!

Solaz is one of the nicest resorts I’ve ever stayed at. Every single detail is carefully curated. From the second you arrive, the staff ensures you enjoy every moment. You get a concierge assigned to you upon checking in. The architecture of this property is immaculate. Moving on to the rooms, perfection. They all face the ocean. The thermostat's temperature is ideal, and the drapes are automated, and you can also pull a whole temporary wall if you want privacy from the closet/bathroom area. The pools: A family pool and an adults' pool are divided by a significant distance, so that you won’t hear any children. Both have pool bars and infinity pools with gorgeous views. The towels are as soft as heaven, and the staff watches over your every need and conveniently caters to your experience. The food is outstanding, exceptional, and delicious. Please note that this is not an all-inclusive resort, and it is not cheap; it is a luxury resort, so be prepared to pay fair prices for the quality food you eat. Conveniently located between the Marina and San Jose, you can also explore the town and have fun outside the resort. I am definitely going back to Solaz.

Love the Hotel. The service was impeccable. There was a storm on our visit, management and staff was very comforting, available and corresponded at all times on the activities. The cocktails by the bars were amazing. I will definitely go back.
