There are several good elements to the hotel. Good reception staff, clean rooms and common area. I stayed on an upper floor, elevator accessibility was poor. The housekeeping crew use guest elevators therefore there are long wait for an elevator and/or many stops to accommodate the service crew.

The hotel is at a geat location, room were comfortable and staff was very pleasant and attentive. the problem are the elevators that although there are 3 for the 32 floor, they are used constantly by the cleaning staff so the wait for elevators most of the day (even in the evenings) is long. much too long.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots of space to wait and hang out in the lobby if needed. Room and common space were very clean. Only complaint is that they were having elevator issues during our stay, there were 3 elevators and it seemed like 1 was broken the entire stay, while the other 2 would take at least 5 minutes every time it was called. Several other guests mentioned that the elevators were completely broken when they tried to call them and, with 30 floors, that can be a huge inconvenience. The front desk apologized about the elevators, but I felt obligated to disclose this info as it can be important to know if you're physically unable to take the stairs.

Great stay only seems like the elevator system is not too good. It took me a long time often to get to the lobby from 29 floor. Also room 2902 door needs extra effort to close doesn’t completely close on its own. Great stay though!!! Thanks

Everything was fun and funky, just as you would imagine with the Aloft chain. Nice well equipped gym. Only things missing was a microwave to be available for guests in breakfast area to warm up left overs from the NYC restaurants.

My fiancé and I visited NYC for my birthday, but our stay at this hotel was disappointing. On the first night, we found dried blood stains on our bed. We requested a bedding change, which was done, but the new bedding also had stains. After asking for a second change, housekeeping finally replaced it, but we later discovered that my fiancé’s perfume bottle went missing from the bathroom counter. We reported the theft to the front desk, but nothing was done—they just kept saying they’d talk to housekeeping. Her bag had also been moved, which left us uneasy. To make matters worse, on our last night, we had to move rooms at 12:30 a.m. because our neighbors were smoking cigarettes, and the smoke filled our room through the ventilation system. Security responded, but the guests simply apologized, claiming they had the windows open—even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. The front desk provided another room for the few hours we had left before our 4 a.m. departure but offered no compensation. While the front desk staff were kind, we were unimpressed with the cleanliness, and the theft left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, this experience dampened our visit to the Big Apple.

The room was nice and spacious for us. They did not change our sheets on our third night and we had to request new ones. We also put in a request for them to always give us 3 towels and rags but we always ended up with 2 and had to request a set after a long day. The staff were nice and the lounge/bar area behind the lobby is very spacious and inviting.

The rooms were nice and the gymnasium was very good. The front desk staff were very good. The cleaning staff did not clean the room one day and I had to ask for the room to be serviced. One issue is that the room had not been fully cleaned prior to my arrival. There was a dog poop on the floor carpet. I told the front desk and it was cleaned, but this was pretty gross and unsanitary.

Loved the flower district location and many places to eat nearby plus subway at end of block. Unfortunately the elevator and room size and layout left something to be desired. The three elevators were extraordinarily slow with one being out of service in a 27 story building causing a bit of angst daily getting up and down from our 23rd floor. Our room had a comfy bed,but not much room to walk around it, and our shower was actually next to the door to room with a pocket door to the toilet for privacy. With no room to sit, my husband and I would rotate down to the lobby (remember elevator problems) while the other showered, shaved or prepped for going out as there was no room to maneuver. The king city view room would have been an excellent rating but for those two items…staff was lovely

Great location, good room size, great rate. Our room was nice but several things were broken. the nightstand had a tilt to it so anything placed on it would fall off, and a cheap radio was screwed to it which took up most of the space. Get rid of those. The walk-in shower floor tilted away from the drain, so every shower flooded most of the bathroom floor. The trendy design is nice in photos but to live with it for a week is frustrating.

This was our second stay, as I really liked our first room and the neighborhood. Even though I booked what I thought was the same type of room, it was remarkably smaller than the previous one. The coat rack was above the nightstand, which resulted in me knocking things off the nightstand when I tried accessing my coat. Also, the bathroom did not have sufficient sound proofing. I heard neighbors’ activity in the adjacent bathroom and their alarm clock woke us up while we were sleeping.

Great location and nice rooms. Would be nice to have a fan for the bathroom and an AC that didn’t make noise all the time. Also, the walls are pretty thin because we could hear doors slamming closed late at night and early in the morning. We probably will try something else next time but have this as a back up if needed.

We arrived at 10am knowing we could not check in till 4. Left our luggage & left to explore the city. Came back after 4pm & there was no room ready for us! We had to wait over 45 minutes more for a room. Also the shower water never stayed in the shower!! The shower curtain was not sufficient & the shower drain didn’t catch all the water. The positives: the view!!! The room itself! Not beautiful!

Safe because after a certain hour at night you must have your rom key to get entry access. Bar was awesome inside. I love how close this are was to everything. The hotel itself was really good for the price. The staff wasn’t very helpful. We arrived at hotel at 5 and weren’t given our room key until 6:15 even though check in is at 4. They did reward us with complimentary drinks.

A very comfortable and clean hotel with a nice lobby you can meet up with people in. It was so conveniently located to walk to many sites and the subway connections were very convenient. We had a cool view of the lights of the city (city view room). It's right in the flower district which was so charming. There are flowers all around you in the morning and resident cats wandering in the plants. Tons of dinig options and cafes nearby. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, though perhaps not exactly queens as advertised. Nice bathroom. Small but all you need in New York.

The elevator has no buttons inside. There is no free coffee downstairs when guests arrive. Modern look and big window ceiling to floor. Angle of view not right for Empire State Building. Shampoo was nice. Beds were comfortable. Good water flow and temperature of shower.

I didn't like the fact that they don't have microwaves in rooms or anywhere in the hotel. I didn't like the fact that the bar was only open from 4-11 on weekends and 4-10 on weekdays. The restaurant only serves breakfast. I did like the staff they were very helpful. The bartender Kelvin was top tier one of the best bartenders I've encountered in hotel bars.
