Modern hotel. Good location a few minutes walk from Temple bar. King size bed although room quite small. Walk in shower, nice bathroom. Continental breakfast adequate. Our only complaint was that they did not make it clear that our parking ticket at nearby Arnotts had to be authorised by them to get discount. This cost us an extra €17.

Can’t beat the location. Close to the Temple Bar area without being noisy or rowdy. Safe area to walk and close to everything. Spanish guy at check in was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are super small but nice and clean. They have a parking lot that they use but it was a nightmare to find. Staff should be better prepared to help tourists locate the lot and let them know in advance what the parking hours are. Other than that, the hotel is a great choice.

I can highly recommend Motel One after spending two nights at the Dublin branch. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming. It’s hard to believe this was on the cheaper end of the scale for Dublin, it’s basic but very modern, the rooms were a decent size and the king size bed was very comfortable. It’s within walking distance of Temple Bar as well as the vast majority of sights around Dublin. The location couldn’t have been better. Staff were all polite including the housekeepers who do a great job. We didn’t eat at the hotel as personally we don’t like a continental breakfast but plenty of cafes within walking distance. If visiting Dublin again I wouldn’t hesitate to book here as an ideal place to base yourself, particularly if you really are just using it as a place to stay whilst you explore.

This was my first time at a Motel One. I was very impressed. The room was very nice and immaculate! Very quiet and amazing location. 2 malls across the street and tons of restaurants. And about 10 minutes (max) to Temple Bar.

My room wasn’t very clean, the chair had food crumbs from prev guests, the pillow case had stains, there were hairs in my bed that weren’t mine and the room smelled poorly. After I tidied up the bed area and aired out the room with windows open the first night it was more comfortable.

All the rooms are covered with dark-colored wall-to-wall carpeting. And we believe these carpets are extremely dirty, even to the point of being dust balls. My spouse has an allergic constitution. We had a hellish three-night stay. Their allergy worsened significantly. We asked the hotel management whether they had any rooms without carpet, but unfortunately, they said they didn’t and that they wouldn’t be able to help us. As much as this hotel is great in terms of location and staff attitude, it is equally terrible when it comes to the dirtiness and dustiness of its dark-colored carpets. If they had rooms with wooden parquet or tiled floors, we would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Nice hotel with comfy bed and nice shower in a good location - walkable to Temple Street, Trinity College and Hop On Hop Off Bus. Clean. We had a queen bed - room was on the smaller side, but there was room near the window to put 2 medium suitcases. They do take some shortcuts that are noticeable. For example, cheap coffee service with paper coffee cups. No trash in the main room. And cheap shampoo/body wash combo. No lotion. Just a few improvements and Thai hotel would be top notch. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall. I would recommend.

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was fine. Those are my two main criteria for a good stay. But for a newly-built hotel, the strangest thing for me was that there were no tech plug outlets at all. Not one USB plug anywhere to be found in the entire room. And the room was tiny. Like, why put a king-size bed in a room that could barely accommodate a queen-size bed? I can't imagine two people staying in that room. There was barely enough room to get by the bed to the other side of the room. And what is with the TV that turns on to show a fireplace every time you enter the room? It was a cute idea--once. But having to find the remote control to turn it off each time was just annoying. Other than that, great location--walkable to everywhere, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is very central and you can walk easily to everything. The river is close by, and you are in the heart of all the action. The room has everything you could need although it was small. Good shower, comfy bed and pillows. The air conditioning is restricted so you can't have it lower than 19 degrees which meant the room felt a bit stifling.

The room was very modern and swanky, I just wish it was a little bigger. I’ve seen dorm rooms with more space. There was about a two foot walkway past the bed, only one garbage can and the towels were small. Otherwise the room was very clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Perfectly located hotel. Half hour walk to Guinness. Room was clean and modern. Staff lovely. Some things I wish I knew before: there are no USB ports in the room, and we had no adapter. Only body wash and hand wash is supplied, no shampoo or conditioner available. Water in the lobby for guests would be ideal.

First of all, for the positives-This is a brand new hotel, and the location was PERFECT! Very close to the Temple Bar area and many restaurants. The room was immaculate. Now, for the "issues"--This is one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. We had been at the end of an almost one-month long trip, so we had very full suitcases and a collection of souvenirs. There was barely any room to put our suitcases in the room. Also, there were no closets or drawers--just a couple of hangers on a rod and som hooks. The bathroom was clean, but also tiny. The towels were actually placed inside the shower. Our room looked out onto a courtyard area, which could possibly be nice if they landscape it, but maybe they aren't finished with that yet. This hotel would be perfect for someone who had a small amount of carry-on luggage, and the price was reasonable.

Stay was ok. Worst part -DO NOT BOOK A TAXI with them. We booked one for 8am and were downstairs by 7:45am waiting. We asked the front desk every 10 mins for an update on if the taxi was close; we had no problem calling an Uber but just needed transparency on if that was needed. Finally they told us that just how bad traffic is. Car showed up closer to 8:40 but we were waiting for Uber at that point already. We arrived 45 mins later than planned at the airport. Hotel knows there is traffic - If a taxi is scheduled to be there early, they should depart earlier and consider traffic. Didn’t appreciate front desk continuously telling us he’s around the corner or 3 mins away when he clearly wasn’t.

2nd time staying here. Really nice hotel which is conveniently located on Abbey st. Ideal for shopping. Luas passes outside hotel. Lovely modern hotel with friendly staff. The only negative I found was how bar manager treated & spoke with his staff. I was waiting patiently to be served yet he decided it was appropriate to curse and give out about tills been out in front of guests. Very unprofessional

Beautiful hotel. Decor is modern and everything is immaculate. Great location with shops and cafe all around and close to so many attractions. The gentleman who checked me in seemed incredibly snobby. I asked about balcony rooms as the photos made it look as though there may be some; he basically scoffed and said they didn’t have them. Tried to ask about the bar, etc and it was clear he was uninterested. Lady who checked me out was great though. Breakfast is very lackluster. For the price, I expected more protein options. But bonus for cranberry juice.

Staff were friendly and helpful although we never ate/drank at the hotel. The only complaint would be the size of the room--we're fine with a small room and expected that, but there was really only room for one suitcase. If you have a hanging suitcase organizer, this is helpful (as you can hang that vs. needing a spot to access an open suitcase.) But this was minor compared to an overall great hotel.

Stayed at motel one Dublin for 2 nights and was not disappointed, Derek the manager was so helpful and happy to help with anything we needed he was very welcoming and was always very friendly and has a great sense of humour, Aaron the maintenance man was also very welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and close to everything we needed, it has a very relaxed and calming atmosphere, I’ll be booking again when I’m back in Dublin, breakfast was spot on and rooms where great!

Great location where I could walk to anywhere I wanted to go see. Motel One is next to the Arnott's department store. There are many other department stores in the area, as well as restaurants and smaller supermarkets. I stayed 5 nights. A continental breakfast was served in the hotel, and I had it once. I prefer to go to small coffee places instead.

We arrived early from the states and they didn’t have any availability to take us for an early check in but they kept our bags so we could go explore. The room was small and a bit stuffy, the AC wouldn’t turn on and the windows won’t open much. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. Great location and there were lots of walkable restaurants and it was easy to get to everything from there.

The location is perfect! Close to everything and very walkable. The bed was comfortable, there was A/C, and having a bar and front desk person available 24/7 is a nice feature. Breakfast was fine - nothing standout and the typical fare. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!
