We were initially impressed by the colorful decor and imaginative playing-card room key, but the experience quickly became disappointing. The first room’s layout was very impractical — we had to walk past the sinks, toilet, and shower before reaching the bedroom. We had booked for 3 adults with 2 queen beds, but were later told the beds were actually smaller “full” beds. The room itself was also extremely cramped, with barely enough space for luggage. The bathroom design made little sense: only the middle mirror had lighting, but it was the only one without a sink underneath. The two mirrors above the sinks had no lighting, making shaving and grooming awkward. There was also only 1 hook each on the shower and toilet doors, leaving inadequate space for towels or clothes.Since we were staying 6 nights, this setup felt untenable. After discussing the issues, manager Abraham kindly upgraded us to a larger suite, which was a major improvement. KJ/Karma from the bell staff was also excellent. The upgraded suite was more comfortable but still had issues: only 1 large coffee cup and 1 espresso cup were provided, the sliding bathroom door scraped the floor, the top cupboard shelf was dusty enough to dirty clothes, and the bathroom sink remained clogged for 5 nights despite being reported. The elevators were another frustration — despite 6 lifts, we often had to wait through several full ones before finding space.
