Hyatt Place LAX/Century BLVD

Was good .. close to airport, nice room. Only downside was the shuttle located to the back of the hotel and u have to walk down an uncovered pathway in the night, which was a bit lonely. Transport was from the back of the hotel, front was closed off

Had to walk 14 flights of steps because the elevators were down.

It was a clean hotel with an efficient front desk. The only issue I found was the limited number of shuttles to and from the airport.

Nice hotel, in great location for LAX. Good dining options within walking distance. Parking convenient but expensive. Shuttle to terminal does not run often enough!

Rooms small even on top floor. Everything is overpriced and I mean overpriced. $96 for 2 day parking and room service prices are ridiculous. $30 for milk and cookies is most laughable. Late to a event cause bar code given for in and out privileges wouldn't let me out. Had to back up, park and go all the way to the front desk to reset it.

Had an early flight so we stayed close to the airport. Spent a relaxing last night swimming in the rooftop pool, eating a really good pizza from the spot across the way, and watching the planes take off from the airport below. It was great. Only thing was that the early morning airport shuttle was very crowded.

The layput was a bit strange, cars cannot just drive up to the lobby area, but the rooms were clean, modern and welcoming. The airport shuttle service was great.

Parking is terrible and costs too much! You think the cost of the room was “ok” but then add another $30 to that for parking with no in and out privileges

From check-in to check-out, we had an amazing experience at this property. The staff was great, and the property was clean. The rooms were super clean and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious.

The dark hall carpets and dark walls make it seem a little tired and drab. The room was clean with the exception of the soft chair, The chair was very dirty on the arms and the furniture appeared very used. The room style choices were very nice. Liked the remodeled style choices.

For the most part the property was clean and smelled good. However, the duvet cover on the bed was NOT clean and had a visible stain on it. We requested and received new sheets but that was off putting.

Rooms was very clean, service was great and staff was very friendly - also everything nice and clean.

I would never stay at a Hyatt after this stay. The hotel claims to have parking. It does not. You have to park in a pay to park garage behind the hotel. There is no easy place to pull up and drop off luggage. (And don’t try to door dash anything, you’ll have to meet your dasher out on the street.) Despite the fact you pay to park, and hotel staff assured us that we didn’t need a parking pass we got a parking ticket for parking exactly where we were told to park. Trying to get in contact with hotel staff (the front desk) was impossible. There was no way to get the front desk on the phone. We needed towels and had to go chase down housekeeping in the halls. The room itself was musty (smelled of asparagus) and the shampoo and soap bottles were empty. The couch was stained in excitingly disturbing ways. There are cheaper and easier places to stay.

Very clean and fresh - staff very friendly too. Also the price was very good relative to the high quality and proximity to airport.

Roomy and clean for one person and one night. Location for Sofi was good.

The room was spacious and comfortable, however it had an adjoining door and I could hear everything from the room next door, and all the airport traffic all night long.

I have stayed at many hotels around LAX and this room was the best I have stayed in by far. The room was furnished and decorated nicely, the beds were comfortable, had a big TV, and the shower and the water pressure were amazing. The negative was there was no lotion or mouthwash in the bathroom, only hand soap, and at 8:00am someone was drilling with a power drill right outside our room. We prepaid for parking in the parking structure, it was a lot cheaper than paying through the hotel, parked and brought our luggage down after parking. I did not see anywhere to stop and drop off luggage or passengers other than going into the parking structure. I would stay here again just for the room itself.

The walls are pretty thin. I heard my neighbors all night and was woken up a few times. This hotel is great for staying close to the airport. The shuttle from the hotel to LAX runs 24/7 and drops you off at your terminal. It is clean and staff are friendly.

I was assigned an interior suite that seems like it was a utility room converted into a guest room. I was warned at check in I was getting an interior room with no windows and offered an upgrade for a fee however I declined but would have not picked this hotel if I had known or recognized this room had no windows, gave me an vibe and layout of interior cruise ship cabin, will say bathroom / shower was decent.

The room that I stayed have no window. There is no power outlet if you want to power your computer on the working table

This is a great hotel in terms of comfort and Aesthetics but it is almost impossible to sleep in any room that faces the airport as planes are taking off all night long and the soundproofing of the rooms is not very good. I got very little sleep so unless you're a very heavy sleeper I would not recommend this place

Extra-large room and cozy.

The property was great with great amenities. I wish I had a room with a view though for the amount of money I paid. My room was internal with no windows and felt like a dungeon. Also, I feel the $100 per day incidental charge is excessive. No other hotel I’ve experienced has ever charged that much. Definitely will think twice before booking here in the future.

The front staff especially Jason was very helpful. We had an issue with the first room we got but he quickly resolved it and gave us a corner room on a higher floor. We had a good view of the city. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing and suprisingly strong! Jason also helped us understand the parking procedures as we had friends come over for an hour. Again, thank yoj for the helpfulness. We also appreciate our shuttle drivers who helped us carry our heavy luggage. I just wish the shuttle could have dropped us at the front instead of the back entrance.

The hotel was beautiful but our service was not. We didnt get housekeeping for multiple days and had to keep requesting towels and our trash to be picked up! Spendinf almost $200 a night for crappy service aint it! Will not be returning

It was a little of everything. Parking pricing for in and out privileges was not explained before and confusing and not ideal. One of The hotel check in staff was rude and did not help me understand parking and made comments that basically we “can take it or leave it” The room had a window covered with zero visibility that left me feeling claustrophobic. The shower water pressure was extremely rough and it felt like it was sand Sandblasting my body. Overall a rough stay.

Excellent customer service by Maria at the front desk. Our tv wasn't working. She immediately changed our room. Our room was spanking clean, comfortable bed. When it was time to leave in the morning, we couldn't find a cart. The security, Simone, promptly said, " oh, let me find one for you! " I am disabled and Simone actually pushed to cart to our car in the parking lot. Who does that these days. Great visit! We will be back because of these staff members mentioned and the quality of our stay! Thank you!

Staff - the manager was terrible . prepaid for a five-day hotel stay (Monday to Saturday). When I arrived Monday, I dropped off my bags and went to an event. Later that night, when I came back to check in, the hotel’s system was down, so staff had to enter everyone’s information manually. It took a while, but I was patient. I was checked in and went to my room that night without issue. On Wednesday afternoon, I left for a few hours. When I returned, my room key no longer worked. At the front desk, I was told I wasn’t in their system—completely untrue. They asked for my card again, which I refused to provide since I had already paid in full and given it for incidentals. I showed my driver’s license and provided the last four digits of the same card used for payment. Despite that, they still refused to give me access to my room. The woman who originally checked me in was standing there and said nothing. The manager came out with an attitude, accused me of “harassing” the staff simply for asking why the person who checked me in didn’t speak up. She then said she needed to review the cameras to “confirm” my story, even though I had my ID. After another 15 minutes, she finally approved a new key—without ever coming over to apologize or even acknowledge the situation. I was treated like a criminal instead of a paying guest. Completely unacceptable. I will never stay here again.

I stayed there twice for business and the Accounting/Finance department kept a 30 day hold for over $750 on both visits until i emailed Nicolett Mitchell (Accounting) and spoke with Cory Christensen to release the hold - I called my Bank who notified me that Hyatt Place needed to release my funds. I email the Consumer Affair for the hotel as well - No response. Extremely unprofessional conduct. Lost my business. Hello Holiday Inn.

First time at this property and it is very nice. Access to the front of the building is very limited and confusing for guest pick up and checking in and out.

Hotel is right across from the airport. Room was very comfortable. Highly recommended

Nice stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to the airport which was the reason for staying here. The airport shuttle operated on half and hour I never had to wait long. I would stay here again for ease of catching an early flight.

Great place to stay if wanting to stay near LAX. Not to far from SoFi and the beach.

The good thing is property is very close to the LAX airport. Inside of the property -front entrance is closed due to their legal battle with the hotel across because of that all guest have to take a back route through the parking lot to get to the hotel which is very inconvenient and unsafe in the parking lot. Floors are outdated we were on the 14th floor but walls and elevators were all scratched up which looks really bad. Also 48$ per day for parking if you are going to in and out of the hotel. Area around the hotel is super unsafe and dirty filled with homeless people. Breakfast was nice 14$ per person.

This was a very convenient and easy spot for a quick fly in and fly out one night stay. Shuttle was easy to get at the airport. Room was spacious and clean. Low noise.

I stayed with my partner to attend a concert at Sofi. The hotel was great location, quiet although by the airport, comfortable and clean. They also offered a shuttle to and from Sofi for the event which was very convenient. Would stay here again.

Always a great place to stay and now that they are part of the LA VIP Shuttle it’s even better! Free shuttle service but the best part…it smells so good. But the little convenience store was needing a serious restock. Slim pickings!

This was only an overnight stay between flights. Everything was good. We had the morning buffet breakfast. I think the options should havecbeen better for the price. Plus the hot items were not really served warm

I’ve stayed here a few times and overall have had good experiences. During my most recent visit, the front desk lady seemed to have an attitude, which stood out since the rest of the staff was wonderful and welcoming. I did request bottled water on two different days, but unfortunately, they were out both times. Really inconvenient to say the least. The breakfast is consistently good, but the coffee could use some improvement. It would help if the coffee urns were cleaned more thoroughly to remove any mineral deposits.

Food options are limited. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was ok… the service was not great… mandatory 18%gratuity. We tip well, usually, but when the service is non existent, a mandatory tip is offensive.

Good facilities and service, but why should I have to pay five dollars for a bottle of water in my room?

A great hotel. I just wish the management wasn't trying to squeeze you for every last dollar...I can't say dime. Everything is set up so that they can get more out of me. Like $5 waters in your room, an over priced mini bar and no flexibity for early check in. The staff was nice. It isn’t their fault. But I don't appreciate automatic18% service fees on the restaurant, etc.

Whenever I fly into LAX for a Ram game I stay here. Clean rooms, quick elevators (that's a thing!) and nice little bar amd restaurant.
