Clean, comfortable and a good-sized room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location is very convenient. Right by the river and only around a 5–10 minute walk from the main bus and train station. The Old Town is about a 25 minute walk away along the river, or easily reached by bus. The only minor issue was that our room was missed by housekeeping one day, and our towels weren’t replaced due to a mix-up. The staff were very apologetic and explained what had happened, so it didn’t cause us any real problems. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Downsides for me was a really bizarre cleaning policy for the rooms where they don’t do it every day but it’s not clear how often or when. Three times I came back for a shower at around 5pm before heading out for the evening and the room had not been serviced. The other downside was a fitness room which had good equipment but was very poorly services. Towels were piled up; water not available and no AC. Not a bad hotel but if I come back to Salzburg I’d go for a different hotel. Shame Because the staff are lovely.

The check-in was easy and we arrived in the room we were impressed that the rooms were of a nice good size. The shower with the glass doors were wonderful and the water pressure was fantastic. The shampoo and conditioner and soap products for also very very good. That said, the maintenance of the rooms was underwhelming. For example there were lights falling out beside the bed by their wires, lights without the covers on them (the globe) and wobbly and broken bedside tables. There's also no shower cap or q-tips or sewing kit or simple amenities that you find it other hotels at this level. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
