Quiet hotel with nice staff. The cleanliness is what I have a complaint about. Our room had bread crumbs all over one of the barstools and my blanket smelled like urine. The pool is cloudy and green with algae - my son is a lifeguard and said it's atrociously dirty. Fingerprints all over the elevators and one of the elevators was broken.

My family of 5 stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It was a spacious room, but we were a little disappointed by the cleanliness of it. In the kitchen, there were splatters on the glass faces of the cabinets and on the front of the cabinets. The stainless fridge was streaked and the rolling office chair had what seemed to be food stains on the back of it. There were splatters on the walls and I found a pair of someone else’s eyeglasses underneath the headboard of our bed laying on top of the boxspring. Overall, did not feel clean enough for us as we were traveling with a baby who is learning to crawl. We used the free laundry facilities only to discover after starting 3 separate loads that the majority of the washers did not adequately spin the water out of the clothes; they were so wet, they left water puddles on the floor when I transferred them to the dryer. The dryers work in small increments of time, not enough to dry the clothes, so you have to stay in the laundry room and constantly reset the dryers. It took me 2 hours to finish my clothes because of the malfunctioning washers (too wet) and time setting for the dryers. And some of the dryers barely got hot enough to dry the clothes. On our last night there, we were evacuated due to a gas leak from the laundry room. I overheard front desk person saying “that was supposed to have been fixed.” Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and professional and we appreciated that. Breakfast was hot and provided a variety.

We were visiting my wife’s cousin who lives 4 minutes from this property. The staff, especially Billy went out of his way to please customers. We had a very comfortable King suite with separate sitting room,tv & kitchen with full size fridge with ice maker, stove, microwave, coffee maker & fully stocked utensils, plates, cookware. Full breakfast each day & an evening kickback with complimentary appetizers Mon-Fri. Wonderful outdoor patio with plenty of tables/chairs, fire pit & 2 Weber gas grills. It is like a home away from home. Very quiet & well maintained. We will stay here for each visit going forward & look into Staybridge in other cities/states during our travels

We are fairly well traveled, but this was, by far, one of the absolute worst experiences we have had with a hotel. The first room we were given was filthy, so we were switched to a second room, which was also disgusting. The third room wasn’t much better, so we had to leave and find other accommodations elsewhere. There was hair, body fluids, and items left from previous guests. There was dust that had accumulated over a period of time, based on the thickness. Further, my husband and children went down to view the pool and there was brown slush around the edges of it, debris at the bottom, and the pool chairs had some unknown substance on them. The manager was supposed to call us, but we haven’t heard from her yet. We were extremely surprised by this experience given that they are in the IHG family. There are better options in the area. Steer clear of this place until they’ve had sufficient time to, hopefully, address the issues with property maintenance and management.

We loved the layout of the room and the service from the staff. Our room had tons of dog hair everywhere in the room. The night stand drawer was not clean from previous tenant as there was garbage still in there. There dust/dirt in the bathroom as if someone used sand paper on the wall. Overall the dog hair all throughout the room was the biggest issue as we have kids sensitivity to dog hair

Overall the hotel seems nice and clean. It seems safe and the staff are very friendly. I am glad I stayed here. There were just a couple of small things that bothered me. Kitchen cabinets seemed dirty on some of the higher ones on the outside, making me feel like it wasn’t clean. There wasn’t one garbage can in the room. Nothing in the bathroom, nothing. We are using a shopping bag as a make shift can. These things are not make or break. I would stay again.

When we arrived we noticed hair all inside the sheets and comforter. Both long and short and some curly and some long straight. On both beds as if they were not changed from previous stay. We ended up switching into another room but it wasnt much better. The beds seemed changed at least but everything was emptied, no tissues in the tissue box, toilet paper roll almost gone, mold in corners ofshower and tv only had 1 channel. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

The shower had long brownish hairs on the floor and some on the shower walls. The shower didn’t have any body soap or shampoo in it. That was discovered after I was in the shower. Not fun. My partner went to the front desk and they gave some shampoo and body soap to them.

The hotel was in great condition, the staff was friendly and efficient, the shower was very good and the bed was great. The only reason for my relatively low rating is the construction in the neighborhood behind the hotel which was right outside our window, loud, and started about 7 AM.

There were six of us in our party (3 moms and 3 daughters). We booked a room that said it sleeps 6 (2 queens and a pullout sofa). Upon arrival we found two queens and a regular sofa.we informed the front desk and they simply told us all hits have pullouts. We went back and checked again, taking the cushions off and there was no pullout. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. Needless to say, we were disappointed customers.

Billy and Ken up front are keepers! They made the whole stay perfect! Very beautiful place and we loved the amenities! We have booked 2 more nights at a Staybridge since. I would love to know where those bird decorations in the reception area were purchased. :)

We had a good stay once we actually checked in. Room was large enough for our family of 4 with a dog and the facilities were nice. Breakfast was good despite the limited seating. But our interaction with the front desk left a lot to be desired. We called two days in a row inquiring about an early check in and got less than helpful responses/hung up on. But understanding that it depends on the day, the room type, and the cleaning order… we still showed up early and requested early check in. We were told that it was not possible but they would call as soon as a room was ready. They never did. Once we finally arrived late (after making alternative arrangements for our dog w friends at a nearby hotel) there was no one at the check-in desk so our two young kids and dog had to wait AGAIN to finally get to our room. Like I said, the hotel and room were just fine. The guy working the breakfast area was great. But the front desk staff… not so much.

We stayed on a Thursday night (2/16) on or way to pick up our son at UVA and then on to ski at snowshoe. We then stayed again on Sunday night on our way back out of town after dropping our son back off at UVA. To say our experiences on each night were completely different is a gross understatement. The Thursday night experience was horrible. The guy working was either clueless or high. The entire lobby and main floor smelled like pot. We were not excited about having to stay again on Sunday night. However, happy we did because the woman working was a complete gem! She made sure we got picked up at airport after dropping off our rental and then found a day to make sure we got back to airport the next morning at 5 am. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! The rooms and property are nice with lots of parking and only 4 mins to airport.

We really enjoyed the breakfast n the great cooks! The team behind the front desk were wonderful, cheerful, n very polite. Always ready to help everyone. Even the maintenance crew were very nice n help us with the washing machines. Will stay again.

Check in was very slow. One person working the front desk. We had just driven 11 hours and our room wasn’t ready. Check in was 4:00 and it was approximately 4:30 and the room wasn’t ready. We were exhausted otherwise this wouldn’t have been so upsetting.

The room was spacious. The only issue with the room was there was urine on the toilet by the hinges. The continental breakfast was not well stocked. There was no juices and had to wait on coffee. They ran out of eggs and said there would be more shortly (20min wait no eggs.) The breakfast was very disappointing. I had high hopes when we first entered the our room but after finding the urine on the toilet and then the lack of breakfast items, I'm not sure I will stay here again.

Hotel breakfast was not great either morning. The oatmeal and eggs were cold the 1st morning. The 2nd morning, the oatmeal fixin's were missing and the oatmeal was watery. While I watched, the kitchen representative opened the box of raw Quaker Oats and added them to the pot. 2 of the 4 breakfast juices were out of order.

We stayed 3 nights. The first 2 nights were great. The room was comfortable and roomy. The breakfast had a reasonable selection of food; but it was not replenished very quickly so some food was not available the later it was. The reason for 4 stars is the third night there was a major storm and the electricity went out from 9:30 pm until we left the following day. We are both in our 70’s. There were no lights, no hot water, TV, WiFi, fridge or microwave. Also no elevator, and we carried our luggage down 4 flights of stairs. There was also no breakfast. It would have been nice if we were compensated in some way.

This is our favorite hotel to stay for just a weekend getaway. It’s always clean, the front desk is always welcoming in depending on when you come in they have an afternoon social. The breakfast is always been really well put together with a ton of choices.
