Nothing much to complain. Staff were very helpful and good. Good choice of amenities in the room and regularly cleaned. Spa was truly a good experience Restaurant food was alright but nothing special to praise. The bar price list was very expensive and extras like a shower hat is mandated in the pool is unheard of. I think just another business tactic to make you buy some cheap quality swimming caps for an expensive price. A hotel chain of this stature need not drop down to petty things like this. Otherwise overall, we had a good stay

Toller Empfang bei Ankunft! Schönes Zimmer, super Bett und jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Sehr sauber! Super Ausblick. Leider gibt es im TV keinen einzigen Deutschen Sender! Das sollte man ändern. Frühstück war reichlich und viel Auswahl! Es fährt jeden Tag ein Shuttle Bus zum Taksim Platz und nach Kabatas. Das ist so super! Großen Dank an den Shuttle Fahrer Ibrahim. Er hat uns viel erklärt und war immer sehr zuverlässig und pünktlich!! Ebenfalls Danke an das komplette Team für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

The taxi service will rip you off - use local transport and remember to use uber instead of bitaksi ( they take long routes to charge you more by metre and multiple the taxi fee) Don’t think staff of hotels will give to honest recommendations as very money orientated

Fairly new building with elegant, quiet sauna, comfortable pool area, excellent service. The breakfast is fabulous and dinner is well prepared with fresh ingredients. A relaxing experience.

Overall experience was excellent. Under 100 euros a night and breakfast was included. Free shuttle service to town, free gym, pool. Couple's massage for 66 euro. Staff was polite, rooms clean, view was beautiful from the top floor. I can recommend.

Obwohl das hotel sehr schwer zu finden ist. War es hervorragend. Die Unterkunft selbst war einzigartig kann ich jedem empfehlen. Der Spa bereich wie auch sport und Schwimmbad waren sehr schön. Ich diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen personal und alles andere hervorragend. Ich werde wieder dort Einchecken.

The only negative side is that the swimmimg pool open at 10 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. I couldn't use it at all because every morning I left the hotel at 8 a.m. for the business and came back at 6 p.m.

Öncelikle tüm personelinizin güler yüzü ve nezaketli davranışları için çok teşekkür ederiz. Odamız son derece temiz ve kullanışlıydı. Otelinizin fitness ve spa bölümü ise harikaydı. Otel içerisinde farklı bir deneyim yaşamımıza vesile oldu. Kesinlikle konumu ve tüm imkanları ile memnun kaldığımız yeniden tercih etmek istediğimiz bir otel. Her şey için teşekkürler.

Oda temizliği, kahvaltı çok iyiydi. Fiyat/ performansın üstünde bir kalite vardı. Odaya bırakılan kişisel temizlik malzemeleri gayet yeterliydi. Ücretsiz ve valesiz kapalı otopark olması da memnun etti.

We were given a free upgrade on arrival due to the off-season, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Unfortunately, the upgraded room was in terrible condition. Despite having a nice view, it was extremely dirty: the bed and pillows were full of stains, the bathroom had mold everywhere, the floors looked disgusting, and we even found footprints on what were supposed to be fresh towels. It was simply unlivable. Thankfully, we were able to move back to our original (smaller) room, which was cleaner, but the floors there were still dirty, though less so than in the upgraded room. Please check the photos I’ve attached. On the positive side, the location is good, the building itself is nice, the gym is very large, and the spa was also enjoyable. Based on my experience, I would rate this hotel a maximum of 3.5 stars. Without the location, the beautiful building, the gym, and the spa, it would honestly be closer to 3 stars. Definitely not the 5 stars as advertised.

Internet ist vorhanden. Essen- ok, jedoch nicht viel Auswahl und zu teuer für das Qualität. Ausstattung Uimmer - ist gut, Standarrdt. Frühstück- das Personal hat leider nicht geschafft die Tische rechtzeitig aufzuräumen. Schade. Im Zimmer - Schimmel im Bad, nicht viel, jedoch wird nicht weg geputzt.

The photos are from 10 years ago. The rooms are very old, the floor ceramic and carpets are old and dirty. The staff is very respectful and attentive. These prices are too much for an old and neglected hotel.

Auf meinen Wunsch hin hat der Hoteldirektor persönlich dafür gesorgt, dass ich ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und Blick auf das Goldene Horn bekomme – ein großes Dankeschön dafür! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Zimmermädchen – hervorragende Arbeit und viel Liebe zum Detail. The location is absolutely stunning, right by the Golden Horn with breathtaking views. Upon my request, the hotel director personally arranged for a room with a terrace and a beautiful view of the Golden Horn – I truly appreciate this kind gesture! The room was spotless, very well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. A special thank you to the housekeeping staff – their attention to detail and cleanliness was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel and would glady Return.

It had plenty of rooms for the convention delegates near the Halifax center. They seemed to have enough staff. The beds were comfortable with clean accomodations. The bathrooms were a bit damaged and could use an update. Some tiles were broken and silicon over moldy parts in the shower. The breakfast was enough. Not very tasty but lots of options. Nothing a little hot sauce or salt couldn’t fix. This place is up a high hill. Please keep this in mind if you are bringing luggage and walking.

Although the hotel was away from most attractions, the hotel offered free shuttles which made touring convenient. The property is older but has a beautiful view! No air conditioning which was the biggest negative for us. Best breakfast we had!

Room was so hot. AC not working. Told by staff that its winter and heating was turned on with no option to reduce the heating.

Worst hotel experience in a long time. Bathroom full of moisture und hairs on the floor. The room was so noisy we slept only for 3hrs. The hotel in general looks good and the personel is friendly. Just our room was a nightmare.

Aging infrastructure but solid hotel. Nice view of the water. Be careful to get the water views, if you have booked for them.

Hotel was amazing. Staff incredible. Breakfast was adequate and location was as expected. Plus 10/10 for Pool and Spa. Only issue I had was with AC. It maintains 23C brilliantly but I prefer 20C or below so room was slightly warm.

Air con was difficult to navigate. Water collected in the bath tub while taking a shower, balcony easily accecible by other rooms as I was on the ground floor. Pillows not the best

OK hotel let down by staff and surrounding area is very dirty and unsafe. Perched on the top of a very steep hill, the Dosso Dossi Golden Horn hotel’s location is not ideal for guests with limited mobility to be able to simply get down to street level. The street level is filthy with a lot of homeless people burning things. My first impression on entering the hotel was to be greeted by a non working metal detector machine that people just walk around (needs to be removed). Then came the 30mins wait to check in as I observed the receptionist being quite overwhelmed and rude to two sets of guests before me. Then of course came my turn and when I asked if I could pay for an upgrade to a larger room, he rudely told me no they didn’t have any, without checking (I later found out they did have a room and was able to pay to upgrade). On upgrading to a bigger suite, my bedsheets had to be changed on the 1st day as I found women's false lashes stuck to my sheets and the duvet and pillows smelt dirty. All-in-all I found staff quite unhelpful when asking for local tourist suggestions. Taxis were charged at an exorbitant price in euros (when you can easily pay 1/10th the price in TRY if you order it yourself)….although be careful using Uber as local Yellow taxis always over charge and put any price they want on the final bill! I came to Istanbul to relax after a funeral and it’s such a shame I had an awful time and the hotel staff were so unhelpful....I will never come back here!

The staff was awesome. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

We stayed for 9 nights but the staff was not that friendly they did not ask how was our staying going nothing even at check out! Customer service is poor we stayed very long nights and do not know any of their names which is bad no good attitude. We asked to clean my room not my mother's room but they cleaned my mother's room despite of do not disturb sign and they did not clean my twin room one day. One day they forgot to take the rubbish after cleaning. The room is like dark not a single light at all on the ceiling.

Resepsiyonist arkadaşlar çok ilgili ve yardımcı. Bunun dışında da hizmet kalitesi çoğu 5 yıldız otele göre önde. Bu sebeplerle birden fazla kez rezervasyon yaptım ve ilerde de yine yapmayı düşünüyorum.

Amazing experience with great staff.

The staff was incredible. Mohammad was extremely helpful, very kind and welcoming from the moment I stepped into the property. He helped me with my luggage and explained everything about the hotel and the dining options. He has a heart of gold. Pinar was the lady who made sure my room was clean and I had enough tea, coffe and water at all the time. She was so kind. Thank you so much, Pinar. Vidat at the front desk was very helpful as well. He kindly accommodated all my requests and needs. Feruza, Anil and Mohammad 2 were also great at customer service. They were all very professional and kind. I loved the food in the restaurant. It was a great stay at Dosso Dossi. Thank you all so much.

Hotel war angenehm und gut. Lage ist auch gut, alles schnell zu erreichen. Dennoch ist um das Hotel selber wenig an Angebot. Bei dem Verkehr in ganz Istanbul ist es schwierig tagsüber kurz mal einzuchecken im Zimmer uns sich fraich zu machen.

The hotel was located in up hill, it was difficult for my dad to go there

Gutes Hotel liegt nicht im Zentrum aber alles in 10-15 min erreichbar

Don't come to this hotel. This hotel is not a five star hotel. Don't be fooled by the cheap price. The hotel has turned off the cooling system on the AC to save money. They blame it on the fact that it is the fall season, and that the room doesn't need to be cooled. It was impossible to sleep in the room. The room temperature was 26-27 degrees. When you open the window, you can't sleep because of all the noise coming from outside. They don't say anything about it before you check in, you find out when you call the reception, and complain that it is hot in the room and that the AC is not working. The beds are old and uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty and they changed them the second day. The bathroom smells of sewage and there are few things that work well in the room. The hotel offers free breakfast but it tastes horrible. So we ate breakfast outside. Because of my job, I have stayed in many hotels. But this hotel was the worst hotel. Me and my boss were fooled by those five stars. My advice is to pay 10-20 euros more and stay in a better hotel. Don'ruin your vacation.

My staying in this hotel was very poor. Breakfast is not so good as it was written in reviews, very ordinary one, lack of fruits during season, coffe was made from powder, so cappuccino was disgusting, i could find only coffe with milk not so bad. For five star hotel we should have bedclothes in the room, clean carpet and more water but unfortunately
