Walk through of our stay: Checked in on a Saturday around 4pm. On initial entry to hotel, it smelled of cigarette smoke. Not a good first impression. There was only one person working and she was very kind. Although she then told us that the elevator was out of service so the stairs would have to be used. We only had one bag so it wasn’t that big of a deal. She put us on the second floor, so we wouldn’t have to travel too far. Although when arriving in our room, it rate of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The TV didn’t work/also was not connected to Internet. Tried to call down from phone in room, but it said it was out of service. So we had to walk back down to the front desk to notify. She put us in a different room this room being on the fourth floor. Which added additional sets of stairs. This room was more suitable with no eww smells and TV worked. I will say the Airconditioner for the fourth floor must’ve been broken because the hallway was super hot. Our room did stay somewhat cool. At this point, we were just ready to get settled in. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel is for the breakfast. It was mediocre. More choices than just bagel and muffin, but still nothing to great. If I was to do it over, I would stay at another hotel and not worry about breakfast supplied.

I booked this specific hotel because it had a indoor pool, but when we got there I'd was no open and my littles were upset

Convenient location, kind staff, clean room, good breakfast, and pet friendly.

There's nothing to say about check-in. The job got done. The lobby area had a strange smell that I couldn't place, but it was clean and updated. The gym was tiny and not inviting, basically an oversized closet. The pool was small but clean, and my kids enjoyed it. The elevator often smelled like weed, not the fault of the hotel, but I felt like I was "hot boxing" sometimes. The room was clean and updated but could use some mantainence. There was an area on the ceiling that had been patched but poorly. The paint was a different color and it was very noticeable. The bathroom toilet paper holder was having onto the wall by a thread, and the remote did not have a cover over the batteries. The batteries kept falling out. Breakfast was a high point. Lots of hot and cold options. Clean and kept full. Check out was also unremarkable, but got the job done.

Pet friendly, breakfast

Traveled with my dog, and room was great. Clean, comfy, and quiet. Top floor hall was a bit musty smelling, but not noticeable in our room. For dinner, was able to walk my dog across the road to partner property with restaurant/bar and sat in the lobby with her and ordered our meal. Staff at both locations were helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone traveling with their pet. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Beds are so comfortable. Service was excellent. Quiet. Indoor pool was small but the kids enjoyed it.

Our stay would’ve been perfect but the elevator didn’t work the whole weekend we were there. So every time we left our room we had to walk up and down the stairs and we were on the 3rd floor. Also the bed wasn’t comfortable either. The Staff was Great and the fresh baked cookies every evening were delicious.

Rooms were disgusting, some weird substance on the phone wasn't cleaned, only quarter roll of tp with no extra, staff didn't ask how stay was cause they already know, And elevator smelled like an ash tray.

Large stains on bedding and carpet. Strong odors. Front desk Chris was very nice and gave us a new room, which was better than the first. He made the stay a little more enjoyable, very hospitable.

Then room was not as clean upon arrival as I would have liked.... there was food/ crumbs on some of the furniture. Also, when house keeping came - 1 of the 4 days we were there, they only exchanged the towels. They did not change or make the beds, and we had to go down and request more toilet paper later that day. Housekeepers were not the best. Also the complimentary breakfast was gross. Very few options.

Great staff , ok breakfast ( nothing special , I wished they had waffle machine , bathroom curtain was pink with mold , the room carpets could use some cleaning. Other than that it was a good stay .

The property itself was very nice, the hotel room I’ve had reserved for awhile now was dirty. Which makes me and my partner wonder if the sheets we slept on were clean because the fridge still had food in it and there was dog hair, a beer box as well. So overall our experience wasn’t the worst but not as good as it should’ve been.

Not clean

The window seal was nasty full mold and bugs. The bed was horrible. Do not stay in room 321 it's like a sheet over bricks literally. Breakfast was ok. Check in/out was good. No cookies or water out for guest as it said.

The service and interactions with employees was wonderful but our hotel room was not very clean. There were stains on the floor.

We stayed here for a quick overnight visit while we were relocating across country. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are a bit on the small side, and the in-room amenities are limited (no in-room coffee maker or desk area), but it was fine for a single night stay. The adjoining rooms were nice since we are a family of five. We appreciated that they welcomed our pup (and were VERY friendly toward him). The staff was very helpful and made check-in easy. The included breakfast was also nice.

From the moment we walked in, we were treated very well. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Fantastic stay!

There’s a hotel being built next door and it seems the men working there are staying at this hotel. If so, they should house them on the first floor of rooms and rest of the guests should’ve been housed on 3rd and 4th floors as they were very noisy overnight, doors slamming, loud talking/ yelling. I get it’s Friday night but most people are stopping through to SLEEP. The gaps under the doors are very wide and let in a lot of noise even from people just closing doors and speaking normally. Wish the pet friendly rooms did not have carpet and were on the 4th floor to minimize hearing people above.

New property, nice and clean rooms, breakfast was with variety of healthy options. From desk clerks clearly are not knowledgeable and know how to properly check a guest in. Long wait time and not very accommodating. I from out of State, booked through Expedia and paid everything in full ahead of time. Upon arrival, young lady at the front desk was on her phone, distracted… I place my Credit card on file for $50 incidentals, needless to say I was noticed hours later that my card was charged $116.06 for the first night. The next day was charged another $116.06, so I attempted to speak with the manager on duty just to be told that she is unavailable because she is prepping breakfast. I waited over an hour and was given some bogus explanation that clearly didn’t make any sense, manager assured me that I won’t be charged again and that my card would removed from their system and that I a hold of $222.27 should’ve never been placed on my card. On the third day, Garner Hotel attempted to charge another 90.17; which I disputed, once at the front desk, the clerk was overwhelmed due to lack of knowledge and again the manager was not available. Contacted Expedia to explain and confirm that payment was received at completion of booking prior to arrival. After being in the phone and on hold for almost an hour, Expedia and Hotel dusted me that the hold will come off within 48 hours and that I should never been charged that amount. Never in 12 yrs of using Expedia have I experienced this.

I made a reservation online with Expedia. When I got to the hotel, they said they had my reservation, but no room was available for me. This was at 10 o’clock at night. I was stuck, scrambling trying to find her hotel that had availability this late at night.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

Even after asking two times a day for three days of my four day stay my room was never cleaned. Also they don’t take cash at all which I feel like any business in America should take cash. Staff was nice, but didn’t follow through on having my room cleaned.

I used my credit card for incidentals, left the room in satisfactory condition and two weeks later the deposit is still on my card. I had to dispute the payment with my bank. The front desk associate was in training and seemed to be unsure about how to process cards. New hotel and new staff. Hotel is next to interstate so it could be hard to sleep for light sleepers. Breakfast was good.

My wife and I visited here for our anniversary vacation. Our first night was not a good experience; however, the manager on duty, Donna, changed this for the rest of our stay. Initially, the room we checked into had an issue with the shower and leaked all over the floor. This was a safety concern for us. That same night, the manager switched rooms and we were upgraded to a better suite. The entire stay was perfect for us! Thank you Donna!

Chris greeted us and helped us check in, and he was a delight. Very friendly but still incredibly professional. Super comfortable bed, clean room… Great place to stay.

What a nightmare! We arrived around 4pm and find out the power was off due to storm that went through at 9am in the morning. Which we totally understood.(Angie)asked if we could wait about and hour or so for our room to be ready due to the power outage, so we waited. We had no problem waiting. When the room became ready, we went to 321 and found out the TV only had sound and no picture. We went down and spoken to Angie again (who did everything she could) told us maintenance would fix it, we than decided to go to Dinner and wait it out again. About 1 1/2 hours later we came back to find our room key did not open the door. (our suitcase were locked in the room along with my husband's medicine) We went back and forth 3 times down to the lobby but it still wouldn't work. She again called maintenance to come fix out door. We stay in the main lobby from 6:30pm until 9:45 pm before we could get in the room, she finally found a master key to open the door, which we had asked about 2 1/2 hours earlier. Maintenance and the managers where no where to be found. Other guest that arrived tired we given bedding to clean they own rooms that the cleaning staff didnt finished after the lights came on. Very disappointing that the managers and maintenance were not on site to help with the problems that came up. We totally understand the storm happened but a TV not working all night and locked out of our room for 2 1/2 hours was not worth $160 dollars a night. DO NOT STAY HERE

Bed was comfortable and room temperature / humidity level was also very comfortable - good combo for a good sleep! Hot breakfast and good coffee. Its right off of the interstate but that side of Clarksville isn't very built up or busy so it was quiet and safe.

We’ve stayed here before and chose to stay again. It’s comfortable and we love having real cooked oatmeal for breakfast! Most places don’t offer it.

The staff was very friendly no complaints about customer service. The breakfast was basically eggs, bread, fruit. Crumbled up bacon bits some other meat for breakfast burritos that I couldn't identify. Be prepared to go somewhere else for breakfast.

Breakfast was terrible, very limited options and my husband found hair in his food.

The hotel was clean with comfortable beds. They had 24/7 coffee brewer that grinds fresh coffee beans we liked. The staff were friendly and spoke with you. The breakfast was average missing some we were used to like bacon slices and fresh waffles or pancakes. They had ground sausages and bacon crumbs. I did like the oatmeal with nuts and cranberries though. It was very close to the highway for easy entry and exit.

Only luke warm water for shower. Breakfast was lousy. No salsa for eggs or breakfast burrito. Meat looked dried out, bagels were hard, apples were old, running out of most foods.

Overall a good experience, but the Continental breakfast was not great.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They had activities daily to meet other travelers and kind of a "happy hour". The breakfasts were good and the whole hotel and grounds were well maintained
