Liked the proximity to everything. We stayed there because my wife wanted an indoor pool. The pool area was disgusting. I've never seen stagnant water in the walk area of the pool.

Me and my mom wanted to spend some quality time together just the two of us so I found us a nice suit at this Tru by Hilton that was just hop up the road from us in South Carolina. Nice and clean environment, friendly and very helpful staff. The indoor pool was amazing as well 10/10

The interior design is a little silly. I hope you like dots! Staying here you will see dots. Had the swimming pool to myself since everyone was playing pool in the lobby (billards). The lobby is nice lots of snacks with an easy kiosk to pay. The design is smart & modern. Guest laundry room is nice. My only complaint is no microwave in my room, but there is a microwave in the nice lobby. You will like it here.

This probably the 4 or 5 time we stayed at this Tru. We have always been very pleased with the room and the staff. Only downside is the parking lot is too small.

Dirty floor: Floor in room was extremely dirty. We had a 2 night reservation. They washed the floor when we left and it was greatly improved and acceptable. Another cleaning would still be useful. Noise in room: Unfortunately there was a lot of movement in the room above ours and it transferred to our room. Noise at breakfast: It is totally unnecessary to have an unintelligible tv noise as background which was the case one morning. The 2nd morning the sound was off and it was a pleasant relief. Staff: 2 great people. 1 who should not be in the hospitality business. We had stayed at this motel previously and did not have these issues.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I checked into my room and left back out to attend an event. I got back to the room and tried turning on the television but it didn’t work. Also, When I returned back to my room late that night I took a shower preparing for bed. When I pulled the blanket back the sheets were stained with what appeared to be blood. I called the front desk and was told no one was working at that time. The next morning I went downstairs explained my situation and my room was changed but no apology was given for previous room conditions. I was told I must call on Monday and speak with business manager. I called all day Monday and Tuesday, left messages and still did not receive any call back. Every time I call i’m told the business manager is not available. First and last time staying at this hotel

The room was very clean and when I needed to add an extra night, the front desk clerk was very helpful and made that transaction a smooth one. I did not utilize the breakfast; therefore, I cannot rate it. Overall, the stay was very pleasant.

I felt that the room was pretty small. There was hair in our shower and in the sink. I definitely won’t be staying here again. Parking was fine but the $100 hold on a $150 room was a bit absurd as well. The staff was kind but Overall 2.5/5 on the place.

Friday evening there was loud vehicular noise from the street in front of the hotel until after 11 pm. Saturday evening this wasn't an issue. The rooms are small and have limited furniture. These rooms are designed for sleeping only - there is not room for waking activity.

Front lobby was a mess - checked in at 8 pm the front customer service clerk was sitting down in the lobby scrolling - baseball teams running all over - adults smoking blunts on back patio - left my ID up front they can not tell me if they mailed it after talking to the same rude unhelpful person the first two days of the following week will make a trip back to get it . The breakfast was stale Customer service is the worst

I have nothing but ultimate praise for Tru. Erika at the front desk was kind, respectful, professional and accommodating in every way as well as everyone we met and spoke with and this was something that was really needed at the time. Tru had no way of knowing that my daughter had just driven from Tennessee to North Carolina the night before and was in the midst of relocating but this was the case. I had made her prior reservations and a hotel around the corner, which turned out to be a nightmare. So I say that to say this true was not the original choice because I thought it would be too expensive but it turned out to not only be a little less and offer exceptional customer service along with beautiful accommodations. The customer service Tru displayed means I am Tru Blue as long as they continue to be in existence. Thank you so much Tru. You truly saved my daughter from having a bad first impression of Gastonia, NC. Aka, her new home😊🙏

This hotel has decreased in cleanliness and quality of staff dramatically over the past 6 months. It used to be my go to hotel since it is very convenient for work, but after my last stay i have decided to look at other options for my next stay. Cleaning of rooms is supposed to happen every other day. Cleaning for this hotel is just new towels. The front desk staff was exceptionally rude at check in and did not have the king size bed available, which I reserved. ‘Aint got nun’ and ‘you want your money back’ was the response. Never an apology or an attempt to make things right. Tru is a brand I usually go to…but would encourage you to think twice about this specific location.

We were supposed to receive a King bed but received one with 2 Queens. We were charged an extra $39 at check in after paying in full to Travelocity, even though I had my receipt in hand and even though the room I reserved was "not available". A guest vehicle was broken into in the parking lot overnight. The 2nd morning we had a person off the street come in and help himself to coffee and then proceeded to fill his large plastic bag with items from the hotel's snack display in an attempt to steal them. There were only 3 women there to stop him and they confronted him. I felt obligated to help, so I stepped in and he emptied the contents of the bag and left. No police were called. According to the employees, it was the second time he had attempted that. Other than being overcharged, not getting the room we reserved, and dealing security threats......It's a good place to stay... just be alert.

The stay was excellent. I was there overnight for a concert. The staff at check in was very nice. Room was very clean and the property was very quiet. Parking was easy and overall the property was safe. Also close to some great food options as well.

The front lobby is so beautiful and bright! The lobby had so many different options of seating! Room 209 was spotless! The room was so cozy! The water in the shower was HOT; which I LOVE! The lemon sugar body wash/hand soap smelled AMAZING! 10/10 RECOMMEND! Not to mention it’s CLOSE to so many good food choices!

Very nice location, and what a pleasant young lady at the front desk at the time we checked in. Location is right off Interstate 85, great location as well as plenty of self parking. Rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. Will be booking rooms with Tru going forward. Thanks!

The rooms were spotless and welcoming. Johnny at the front desk was awesome. I had requested extra towels and pillows before my stay and there were none both times but Johnny made it happen. Thank you. Sunday breakfast in the lobby was chaotic to say the least and there were was no sense of order and little kids helping themselves to the whipped cream from the cannister to their mouths and sticking their hands in everything. Hygiene was not a thought for many and that is a huge turn off. The eggs were terrible both days, there not alarge selection of items and nit very hot. Other than that it was good.

Beautiful, new property. But the breakfast was not tasty and it lacked variety. Scrambled eggs were terrible. And I stayed at the hotel 3 times in the last 5 months. The reception desk was empty last time I stayed ther- I had to wait for somebody to come and check me in - it was around 6:30pm.
