This was one of the best stay experiences ever! We were in town 5 days to see our first grandchild. The Home2 was truly a home away from home. Huge room with sofa. Awesome lobby with tea always available and great breakfast. Plenty of parking. Safe. Convenient. Even had a foam roller in the workout room to use before running on the Greenway in the morning. We'll be back soon!

Clean rooms, nice gym and friendly staff!

My kids enjoyed the breakfast. The pool was very small and hard to find.

Home2 suites is my go to. They all are great in my experience. This one is no different. Nice place to stay. Roomy. Plenty of parking.

Our room was clean, lobby was clean, and the breakfast was nice. I enjoyed the gym space and also the fact I could bring my dog. I wish the beds had better sheets, blankets, pillows. The sheets were so swishy and constantly falling off the bed. And the blanket was very thin and not big enough for two people to be using in the bed. As soon as my husband would move, the blanket would shift off of me. And we are very average sized people. So that would be an area of improvement. The pool was clean and my kids enjoyed it.

We were in town for a concert, coupled with visiting some of my wife's family. What we have learned is that there is definitely value in free parking, etc. when staying in a larger city. The rooms were big and had everything we needed. A/C worked great. The mattresses were a little soft for our liking, leading to a little stiffness in the morning (and not in a good way). The breakfast was not designed to handle large groups of people. Instead of waiting, we went across the street to Toast!, and had breakfast there both mornings. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we're in town.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, and great location if you're not staying downtown - just a quick and easy drive away! All of the staff was friendly and parking lot was well lit at night.

The rooms were fantastic - very spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. I appreciated the lotion and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. The breakfast was WONDERFUL. Many hotels only serve carbs for breakfast, but there were so many good protein options. The coffee was really good as well and I'm very picky about my coffee. I liked using the workout room too. We would definitely like to come back and stay longer!

Great location, clean but for being a newer property the water pressure at this location is a joke.

In room 525 we saw several roaches of various sizes that live in the orange foot stool. Otherwise the room.size was great and modern and the staff were super nice.

The hotel was extremely clean. Keep up the good work! Front desk person was very friendly. I did not like the Ruby Tuesdays next door to the hotel but that is not a reflection on the hotel. We left Ruby Tuesdays and went across the street to Trotters Restaurant. That was very good.

Room was ok. Water pressure was terrible.

We stayed here for 10 days total. The elevators were so dirty and we noticed they cleaned them 1 time during our stay. Same stuff on floors the entire stay otherwise. Breakfast was ok. Nothing fantastic, but it was included with stay so no complaint. Room was cleaned 1 time during our stay. We had to ask for that. Otherwise we had to hunt people down to empty garbage overflowing, get toilet paper, kleenex, towels, etc. It was just OK in my opinion for what I paid for.

Housekeeping never came to our room until about two hours before checkout “to see if the room was vacant”. Our trash wasn’t emptied during our stay. They didn’t check to see if we needed towels or anything. We ran our dishes in the dishwasher before leaving.

I mean, I guess mold/mildew is better than bugs, right? If I had to stay here again, I would, but for the price, I just feel like it could have been a little cleaner. I got put in a handicap accessible room, which I didn’t request, but I was fine with it. After seeing how nasty the bathtub and the shower curtain were, I requested to be moved, and they told me that they were booked full. All week, they wouldn't move me. The front desk woman that was there when I checked in was very unfriendly. breakfast and breakfast staff was amazing. One of the elevators smelled very bad..

Room was spotless great breakfast

My room was not clean throughly there was dog poop under my bed that I could smell but could not find until the night before I left because there was a huge palmetto bug I. The room that went under the bed where the poop was. Just a big freaking mess!!

Room was clean but we stayed on first floor and it was so loud. Dogs barking, people talking and slamming doors. Walls seem paper thin. Also was incredibly expensive for what it was

I like the room was spacious. I like the size of the fridge, very useful for my 5 day stay. The mattress could have been a bit newer. Being that the room is so spacious, a bigger TV needs to be added or another TV. Overall I would stay again.

Everything about our stay was great! The room was SO large and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely book here on our next visit to Charleston.

The room was spacious with enough space for my family and if I wanted some guests as well, and the furniture and everything seems very nice. The bed wasn't as firm was I would have liked, but I had good sleep so that's what matters. Friendly staff and the daily breakfast buffet was very good. Definitely one of the best for a free breakfast with many choices. They offer reusable dishes and utensils so that's a big plus for me. Everything seemed to be updated and clean.

The room was HUGE and easily accommodated our family of six. Loved the decor and amenities. Pool was a little chilly though!

The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and well designed. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and didn’t feel squished.

We are a family of five. Me my husband and three kids 10, 5, 3 years old. We chose this hotel because it was cheap/highly rated. Also because of internet access, free breakfast, and laundry just in case of any accidents. The room was supposed to have two queen size beds, a pull out couch, and a bath tube shower combo as shown in the images we looked through before booking. This facility is pet friendly. My pros…. costs less than $400 for 2 nights/3 days. It was centrally located to the beach and various activities we were interested in. There were fast food places and a Piggly Wiggly located right across the street. We were able to get our kids bellies full easily before starting our adventures each day with access to free breakfast. No bugs! My cons…. The beds were more full size than queen. The blankets were thin and scratchy, the mattress itself was more like a cardboard box. The pillows flattened so much during use and let out a large puff of air when you rested your head on it that smelled like a fart. We ended up with a walk in shower that our two younger kids had a hard time using. Our 5 year old ADHD kid has sensory issues. Clean up after the beach was a nightmare. On checkout day a worker was trying to get into our room two hours before check out and eventually knocked claiming that someone had already checked out using our room number. When I checked out they asked for room number and last name so I find that hard to believe. The breakfast wasn’t great.

The hotel and room is decent. Didn’t eat breakfast because I’m not interested in fake eggs & turkey bacon. The lady at front desk at check in was unpleasant and she could careless about customers.

The property was very nice. It felt a bit far out and like there wasn't much in the area, expensive to get Lyfts back and forth to places. I loved my room. My main issue was the staff. No smiles, no welcoming when you approach the desk. Seemed immature and to lack critical thinking and listening skills. When I checked in the first day I told the young woman at the desk that my room was booked from the night before, I paid for the night though I was arriving in the morning so that I could get into my room as soon as I got there as I had a 10:30am commitment. Gave her my receipt and name and she could not find it for forty minutes. Never have I checked into a hotel and they couldn't find my reservation with my name. I had to look through my entire inbox to find the confirmation number. Then she realizes she was only looking at guests due to check in that day though I told her, and my receipt showed that my reservation had started the night before. Then, no apology or anything. She just handed me my room keys with none of the usual explanation or information you usually get checking in to a hotel. The next day I bought something from the little hotel store and told the person at the desk, a different person, that I didn't want to charge it to my room because I needed a receipt to be reimbursed. She processed the transaction with my credit card, I ask for my receipt, then she tells me "We don't give receipts." Also outside sitting/eating area not maintained and usable.

Property was nice, room huge. Staff not at all friendly or helpful!! Only had housekeeping one of the days requested, no channel listing in room, on web page when QR code scanned, asked at the front desk - after waiting for 5 minutes for a front desk clerk to come out of hiding - desk clerk just looked at me like I had 2 heads and told me, “no we don’t have a channel listing.”

Front of the house staff was never friendly. Not at check in or check out and the were different staff members each time.

What I liked was the outstanding service from the front desk, how helpful they were, how professional and upbeat they were. Great service, great hotel, breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be back since we have family in the area. Loved it.

Good location !

Conveniently located right off Hwy 17 and Hwy 526. Easy Reasonably priced compared to downtown stays. Large rooms and good coffee.

We came for our son’s Naval graduation. Great location . Super close to the airport and not far from downtown

Spacious and clean room / common spaces. Our family of 3 adults and 3 children were happy with our stay. Location convenient to downtown and various other attractions in town. We will book again next visit!

Only 15 minutes away from the airport and downtown. Perfectly situated for easy access to just about everything while simultaneously quiet enough for a comfortable, relaxing stay. 100% recommended!

We were in Charleston for the weekend and unfamiliar with the area. The Home2 Suites rooms were very large, with a well equipped kitchen. It seems that most rooms have a sofabed. The property was very clean, and we saw cleaning of public areas happening frequently. The free breakfast is a nice perk and made an easy start to an early morning when we needed to leave for the airport. My stay was quiet and the other guests were low key. There were dogs present which is a nice perk for pet owners- we didn't hear any barking or noise, but I'm sure this can vary. There is a pool and fitness room, although we didn't have time to use them, we would have enjoyed that if we were staying longer. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the location. While a fairly short Uber ride to downtown Charleston and the areas we were in town to visit, it isn't very walkable and there aren't many good restaurants within walking distance. This wasn't a big issue though, and we would consider staying here again.

Great location

I have stayed here a number of times and always have been happy until this time. Three out of the 4 mornings I stayed there was no milk at breakfast. There were not many options to eat if I couldn't have cereal but there was no milk at all for the cereal. They also did not have fruit. They claimed their delivery of food did not have everything it was supposed to but it seems like they could have gone across the street and bought some. When it became obvious it was not going to be resolved after day 2 I just bought food to eat at the grocery store. I always stay at a hotel with breakfast since it means I don't have to worry about dealing with food in the morning.

This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot.

Hotel was very clean. Front desk staff needs to be more polite and welcoming. Kym was the only pleasant one. Housekeeping was friendly also. Breakfast needs to have more options and self serve. Waiting in line for one person to make everyone’s waffles is time consuming.

Always the best. Love staying at Home2. Beds are very comfortable, love the breakfasts, multi grain waffles, egg bites and really good coffee. Good selection of drinks. Etc to purchase or charge to your room which is a nice benefit. Beautiful accommodations, room to relax, the generous size bathroom and shower always a comfort at the end of the day. Along with full size fridge, dishes, etc just a great place to stay, at the top of our list and we travel quite often. Top notch employees no matter where in the entire facility.
