This property was so quaint and beautiful, located close enough to Catskill downtown shopping and a farm stand and brewery, yet surrounded by quiet and restful woods. It's nestled in the Catskill Mountains with a lovely pool, a guest kitchen, and play areas. The fireflies even came out for me to enjoy as the sun set! The rooms are huge and neatly kept, the bathroom is scrupulously clean, and the staff is kind and friendly.

A no-frills motel, perfectly adequate to stay a night or 2 while travelling. Clean, well maintained, but old. The decor & playground date from the late 1950's - early 1960's. The grass is neatly cut. The playground well-maintained. The shuffleboard concrete slab is freshly painted. The pool was drained at the end of summer. The umbrellas are 1960's relics. You can tell they take pride in what they have. 4 stars because its old & a major refurbish will soon be needed.

I travel a lot. Best check in ever! I don't know the gentleman's name, but super funny! Told him I HAD to put this part of my stay in my review. Easy check in, lots of parking, clean pool, playground, picnic tables, grill should you want it & the hiking mountains are very close (why we were in the area). We were on the 2nd floor and it was so very quiet. Rooms and stairwells definitely need some updating, but very clean. Bed I found was really comfortable. Restaurant next door is convenient. Good food, but only sell their own beer (so if you want a Mich Ultra like myself, you will be disappointed). We booked at the very last minute so the price was high, but I'm thinking if you plan ahead it would be much less than what we paid. Absolutely the place to stay if you are in the area.

Pretty awful place. Starwell going upstairs has flickering lights and filghty stained carpet. My son found a small basketball court/net in backyard, was stung by bees three times in a few minutes. One of the blankets was full of holes and had red stains (blood? Wine?) on it. Seems cozy on paper, but unloved and kinda gross.

Good location,friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, there was an issue with air conditioning in one of the rooms we booked, but we were able to stay in a guest house on the property. Very accommodating. Ice machine was also not functioning , but we got around this as well.Property could use an update, but it’s good forth price and the manager makes up for any deficiencies.

A terrible nights sleep on a lumpy mattress. The other bed had dirty sheets. Bedspreads were not clean The room had a moldy smell. Facility needs to be upgraded. Can’t believe this was AAA approved. For $158 it is affordable. Not worth it. The reviews were good. I guess reviews aren’t always reliable and true.

The room was ok except for the cockroaches all over & bugs in the bed. Water was a crap-shoot. One time it was hot the next time it was only lukewarm. Did not clean the room daily OR provide clean towels, etc. I am thankful it was only a 2-day stay or we would have left. We do NOT recommend this motel to anyone

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a motel. I’m no stranger to a budget motel, so I’m not overreacting either. The room looked more or less fine at check in, I had a nice swim in the pool, but I didn’t inspect the bed, which was a mistake. At 2:30am I woke up to find the bed crawling with bed begs. I had to wake up the manager to demand a room switch. This guy was so rude, never once an apology or acknowledging the bed bug problem, just kept saying I should’ve noticed sooner. After much pushing he gave me a different room. The next day I asked for a refund entirely, since now I had to spend the rest of my trip at a laundromat washing everything I own. He flat out refused, basically saying I was lucky he gave me a second room. Said he did that because he “respects me.” What a joke, this guy respects no one leaving conditions like that. I stayed in Room 107, by the way. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We needed a place to stay, nothing fancy, and this hit the mark. Our room was clean, everything worked as expected. There was a working microwave and fridge which is always nice to have. We would have no problem booking this motel again.

The price was outrageous for a very dated room…but the filthy conditions were unacceptable. The carpet appeared very old and stained and in bad need of replacement, we weren’t comfortable touching our uncovered feet to the floor. The tub basin and shower curtain were inexcusably disgusting. I mean come on..either bleach or replace the curtain. I was grateful to have sandals I could shower in since the tub floor, with the ancient added grip strips and severe staining, was just plain nasty. The miniature coffee maker had old gross coffee pouches still in the tray, so no using that. The non room darkening curtain almost covered the window but not adequately. The light switch controlling the vanity worked intermittently. We didn’t expect luxury but clean and functional would have been nice. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

The room had a bad smell upon entering and there were roaches in the bathroom, in the room when we turns the lights on at night… really gnarly and uncomfortable. Water pressure was bad in the shower, but there was hot water at least. Def do not recommend. Also the restaurant is not on the property, it’s next door.

It is conveniently located close to hunter mountain and next to a really nice brewery and restaurant. It is quiet and the front desk is helpful. The bed cover had stains on, but the bed sheets were clean. Very basic / dated room. The mattress was in poor condition.

My single room was close to the Highway. I heard traffic all night long. The room needed some repair. A drawer would not open and had a loose facing. A lighting fixture that had been over the kitchen table had been removed and not replaced. There was a torn curtain in the bathroom.

They need insulation , they put us next to.the main road, didnt sleep all night, the next day we talk to owner , no more rooms to change,cdid we want our money back but we would have to leave. My husband came back fro a quick nap and it was so loud they were cutting trees down across the street from.our room. He had to go buy a box of earplugs, which barely worked. We were either the first room.or the last. It was freezen in room when we got there, dust cob webs all over heaters, phone with no phone jack to call office, they had to come in at 10:30pm to fix a 27 in Tv, no clock, bathroom was so tiny couldnt barely move. This is a 0 star for me. Maybe sugust they put up a durable fence, to block some rhe loud ass noice.

The tv didn’t work in the first room I was in. They switched me to another room that had no heat. They put a space heater in the room to help. I couldn’t sleep worried the space heater would catch on fire. Had to use several blankets to stay warm.

Motel was just alright. Room was suitable for what I needed. Service was quite poor. Check in confusion despite clarifying with a motel employee. I travel a lot. Best check in ever! I don't know the gentleman's name, but super funny! Told him I HAD to put this part of my stay in my review. Easy check in, lots of parking, clean pool, playground, picnic tables, grill should you want it & the hiking mountains are very close (why we were in the area). We were on the 2nd floor and it was so very quiet. Rooms and stairwells definitely need some updating, but very clean. Bed I found was really comfortable. Restaurant next door is convenient. Good food, but only sell their own beer (so if you want a Mich Ultra like myself, you will be disappointed). We booked at the very last minute so the price was high, but I'm thinking if you plan ahead it would be much less than what we paid. Absolutely the place to stay if you are in the area.

The motel was very dated and smelled musty. You had to park right in front of your room with hardly any room. Thank goodness no one was in the other room. We had trouble with the door. NO ONE to help. The TV didn’t work. So called and someone text that some one would come help. We waited and then finally gave up. No TV, no one to help. Small and no breakfast. Never stay here again.

We have a rental property in the area. We were all booked up for the weekend. And needed a place for the overflow of friends who came up. Stayed up here to go skiing at hunter mountain. It’s a great cozy place with the attendant, Rich, being very welcoming and helpful. It’s conveniently located next to a brewery with food to walk over to for a quick bite. Would stay here again.

I got there at the motel and the owner and/or guy behind the counter gave me a room. He managed to open up the room and then couldn't find a key to the room, he told me he would be back with a key. Half an hour later I went over to the office and asked for a key so I could leave my room and go get food and drinks. The guy says I will bring it over give me a minute. I went back to the room then went over to the office to ask for a different room that he had a key for he down right very nastily told me NO. This property was so quaint and beautiful, located close enough to Catskill downtown shopping and a farm stand and brewery, yet surrounded by quiet and restful woods. It's nestled in the Catskill Mountains with a lovely pool, a guest kitchen, and play areas. The fireflies even came out for me to enjoy as the sun set! The rooms are huge and neatly kept, the bathroom is scrupulously clean, and the staff is kind and friendly.

A no-frills motel, perfectly adequate to stay a night or 2 while travelling. Clean, well maintained, but old. The decor & playground date from the late 1950's - early 1960's. The grass is neatly cut. The playground well-maintained. The shuffleboard concrete slab is freshly painted. The pool was drained at the end of summer. The umbrellas are 1960's relics. You can tell they take pride in what they have. 4 stars because its old & a major refurbish will soon be needed.

It is conveniently located close to hunter mountain and next to a really nice brewery and restaurant. It is quiet and the front desk is helpful. The bed cover had stains on, but the bed sheets were clean. Very basic / dated room. The mattress was in poor condition.

My single room was close to the Highway. I heard traffic all night long. The room needed some repair. A drawer would not open and had a loose facing. A lighting fixture that had been over the kitchen table had been removed and not replaced. There was a torn curtain in the bathroom.

A little TLC of the rooms would go a long way. The room cleanliness wasn't great. The beds were clean at least, but they weren't very comfortable. Our favorite part about this stay was walking next door to the brewery / restaurant. Not sure I would stay again

Been staying here on and off since the 90’s but it’s been a few years since I’ve stayed. The beds in my room were terrible. Mattresses were totally worn out and very uncomfortable. I basically didn’t sleep for two nights. Everything else was ok but beds are a huge deal!

The property was very well kept and room clean. I did not like that I was told that I could check in early if I paid an extra 25.00. Also wasp problem. Was stung walking into the door that leads to the stairs.
